If you don’t like the taste of artificial sweetener, steer clear – I didn’t realise that sodastream have updated their syrups, from when I was a kid, they now have a really strong artificial sweetener taste.. I took one sip and that was enough to have a bad after taste until I brushed my teeth. There is already so many options for sugar free, why ruin the rest? I would personally prefer a less sweet drink than one that tasted like artificial sweetener. Show details

Exactly the same taste as Sparletta Creme Soda – Cream soda varies depending on country, and this one is an excellent replacement for South African Sparletta brand. I think it's a bit like Vegemite - you either love it or hate it, and I love this product. I'm so glad it is available in Australia, although only from Kmart and Big W at the moment. Show details

Not what I expected – The bottle is green, so fair play on the actual colour of the liquid also being green, which is undoubtedly a variation on snot green, in colour and consistency. soda has got a beautiful creamy vanilla taste (hence the name), not this soapy, bitter taste. Please Soda AU do not reply with the same excuse u gave other complaints, just take notice NO ONE LIKES IT.

Putrid – The worse drink I've ever tasted. And they can sell this filth. Must be a way to improve it.Your only selling it to people that hasn't tried it no one will buy a second one. Yuk

The worst tasting soda ever – This flavouring is horrid. I have even tried mixing a tiny bit with other nicer tasting flavours but even a drop of it makes it undrinkable.

Can not drink another mouth full – Agree with others looks like dishwashing liquid. Tastes awful. YUCK. Will try kong flavours when local supermarket gets the kong syrups.

Yeah, not good :( – This cream soda is horrible, it tastes a bit soapy and the green colour is very off putting. Diet cream soda is a beautiful brown and tastes very good, I'm not sure why the full sugar version is so different :/

YUCK! – Classic Cream Soda should be either clear or brown with a hint of vanilla, like the UK & US versions of the syrup. Sodastream AU assured me that the green dish liquid flavour is one of the most popular in Oz. won't use up, not sure I can struggle through another 10l of the stuff but I may try mixing it with something else, like orange to make orange soda, not sure what colour I'll get!

can get away with adding 3/4 of a cap. Nothing, it's perfect...just gets used up too quickly in our house.

It's fine but it should be red – I am a recent convert to Sodastream. Although I think that green is a strange colour for creaming soda (am used to it being red) it tastes about the same as normal creaming soda. Not as good as Kirks but still quite good. Maybe this is how the Americans like it. Kids love it! Tastes fine It should be red!

Yuck!!!! – tastes like dishwashing liquid with slight creaming soda notes. looks like dishwashing liquid too because it's bright green! to sum up, if you want to try before you buy just add dishwashing liquid to the carbonated water, it tastes (and looks) the same anyway!!
