This is my 5th item from the brand. Never ceases to amaze me, the quality of theses products. Always sounds great, is practical to my needs and performs well after the other products after time fail and I need to buy another one. The motion boom does what it's supposed to do. Budget speaker punches way above it's weight! – Great sound in such a small speaker! This thing has a nice thump. Some Chris guy has given it 2 stars but he isn't the full quid because the app which you download with this speaker has a great equaliser. Best Bang For Buck! Buy Two and use in STEREO! – The best bang for buck bluetooth speaker out there. Buy two of them and use them in stereo "TWS" mode. Highly over-rated – 1. Treble and mid-range are barely OK for the price, but the bass is uncontrolled when pushed to higher volumes, ie the bass becomes loose and boomy, and badly affects the clarity of the mid and treble. 2. The EQ app does very little to improve or eliminate this basic problem. Even at mid volume the Bass is muddy and poorly defined. 3. Considering the price, it is incredibly disappointing that it has no other input, just a Bluetooth signal. For just a few dollars more, a USB input and 3.5mm AUX audio input would have eased the pain, and a DAB and/or FM tuner would definitely improve its versatility and desirability in this price range.

A poor to average quality speaker output from a small portable enclosure, with no input other than a Bluetooth signal. Will probably satisfy teens (and other folk) who love lots of Boom Boom, but definitely NOT recommended if you want a portable audio player with a reasonably defined clear bass sound.

I am so glad we made the decision to buy it - the sound quality and volume range is outstanding for the price, it's user friendly and the build quality seems superb. It's also very light and portable, so I can see it being used many ways and for a long time.
