me I was not allowed to follow the back to work plan because (his quote) "I'm in charge and you'll do what I say" and I was dismissed for standing up for myself and my rights. The workers compensation scheme is nothing more than a scam! There is little to no support for injured workers and due to the government only paying a fixed amount for all workers compensation cases, there is no reason for them to put in any effort to help as they'll get paid the same regardless if you get completely screwed or not. If you are looking for help with a workers compensation case, I suggest you keep looking as these guys couldn't seem to care less. P.s. the job that I was told didn't have suitable light duties for originally was in sales with lots of phone calls. According to my former employer and eml insurance I can no longer do even that but have been paid out the princely sum of $23,700.00 after tax to survive on the remainder of my life. I'm 43 years old and that doesn't even cover the amount I have lost from my part time job refereeing Oz tag (was one of the top 3 referees as per national championships appointments beforethe injury), let alone lost wages from my full time job, wage increases, promotions, profit share and super. I'd try to find a lawyer that is at the least going to try to help not just pretend and leave you to feel worthless and to survive on welfare as Ana has with me
