Stanley Rogers Pinnacle Set

Disappointed with the weight & overall feel – I purchased these at a heavily discounted price recently and should have known they would be too good to be true. The pictures and description of the set made me think they would be of high quality and heavy weight. Unfortunately they are quite light and overall look and feel inexpensive.
Stanley Rogers – I recently bought this via a discount "exclusive" emailing list and after eyeing this set up for a year or so, decided to take the plunge as it was a good price. The pictures looked good and it appeared to be a nice solid set. I was expecting cutlery that had a nice weight and solid feel as the pictures lead me to believe that it was very solid and the twenty five year guarantee indicated it would last the distance. With a retail price of $199 for 56 pieces I thought it would be better quality than the replacement desert spoons I bought at Woolies after most of mine myseriously disappeared. I am very disappointed as the weight and feel is the same as the cheap and nasty no name spoons I bought at Woolies. I suspect this was a lower quality mass produced "just for the special offer" deal. I am disappointed. I liked the pictues on the website I bought it from. Like the design in the pictures. The knives have a reasonably solid feel in the hand. Sppons and fork feel tinny and cheap. the quality is equal to a cheap and nasty set I recently bought at Wollies for $8 for 5 spoons.
