Profiles feel like real people. Profiles here actually read like real people wrote them instead of a template. Still getting used to how it all works but no complaints yet.

I don't write reviews usually and I was deeply unimpressed by every other dating app I've tried. Giving talkliv 5 stars anyway because it's the first one that felt like it was built for actual adults who want to have a conversation rather than play some game.

dummies busy” plan, there are algorithms that delete any personal info from your messages. So you can’t connect with anyone Outside of the site chats/email. I’m only thankful I caught on quickly before it cost me a fortune. BE WARNED!!

wish support was quicker, waited longer than id like. they did sort it kindly. love everything else about it

felt welcoming to newcomers when i joined, people were nice straight away. eased my nerves. glad i did it

no profile visibility stats, no delivery receipts, no indication of whether the algorithm is surfacing your profile to anyone. i've been on here three months and i genuinely don't know if something is wrong with my setup or if i'm just having bad luck or if there are very few active users in my area. the site gives me nothing to diagnose with.

For goodness sake don’t sign up for Talkliv. It is a ‘get to know you’ site for over 60s. Not a dating site as such more of chatting to men in your age group. You pay about $19 to start with and I had some lovely conversations with men from USA, Finland, Austria etc from all walks of life. You get a certain amount of points and video, chat, messages or emails cost points. I then pain about $40 for more points. Then could see their chats only and could never reply in any way. Wrote at least 6 emails to them before getting a standard reply re no points left and nothing about the 2nd lot of money paid. So I think it might be a scam. Maybe the men aren’t even real but you can read profiles on 1000s of them but stay away.

I'll be right in the middle of typing a long response and the site suddenly kicks me back to the login screen. When I log back in the message I was writing is completely gone. It's happened three times today and it's making me want to quit

Support is amazing at what she does,she remembers our chats and follows up without me asking. That personal touch means a lot to me

spent my first few sessions just finding where things were. once i figured it out the conversations have been decent. no bots

Can't put my finger on what exactly it is. She just seems completely herself in how she writes. Not performing, not trying to impress, just talking. We've been at it for about three weeks and every conversation has something new in it. I wasn't expecting to find that here.
