they needed to, or you pay less and they charge more than the $540! My bill was $670! Yes, I agreed to all the terms and conditions, so they didn't do anything unlawful, but I didn't appreciate having this choice to make when I just want a service to be done. They sell you the cheaper option to get ahead of their competitors and then sting you later. The few positives - the guys were on time and great people. Not their fault the company has chosen this path...

Once again the Tradie sent out by Taskforce was prompt, friendly, helpful and totally professional. It was an absolute pleasure to have him work in our house. And he loved our dogs.

Operator turned up before allotted time. Clean and accurate worker, and left my premises inside 5 minutes without leaving any mess, and happily answered all my questions. Wouldn't it be nice if all tradesmen were like this one.

He stayed in touch, was mindful of the commitments of those in the house,arrived when he said he would, brought a clean portable ladder, he was in,done & out, quick as nick!

Extremely poor experience. I opted for Taskforce plus option to get a electrical, gas and smoke safety check done for A$594 which is c. extra A$200 dollars to carry out repairs and yet no repairs were done. in T&C written in zero font under a term and condition in that part of the website and while horizontal switches are covered my switch was vertical and hence not covered. The whole experience was very trouble some they just deducted the money from my card and I had to chase sending several emails and calls to get the report. Even the report had several issues. Pathetic job

booked for 2.15pm and to only use security key box if could not make it home but here at 1.30pm. Have taken it on themselves to access earlier then agreed time to service smoke alarms. Had to contact you via phone at 3.45pm and told job was completed without my knowledge.

Very challenging to get a booking that suits people who don’t work a standard 9-5 or work from home. Nothing across the weekends or afternoons and no way to book in advance outside of one week which makes it impossible to organise a job. I was given the run-around and, eventually, they stopped responding altogether.

They have taken 548.90 of my money, yet I have still received neither the service I paid for nor a refund. I was told they did not know what had happened.

I stopped chasing the matter after December because I became busy and, frankly, forgot about it for a while. Perhaps that is what they were hoping would happen. However, I remembered and contacted them again today.

I have now been told that I need to speak with the manager. The problem is that the manager is apparently never available to take my call, and despite requests for a callback, I have not received one. And it would appear this manager is also the person that I was emailing and eventually disappeared on me.

Based on my personal experience, the way this matter has been handled feels extremely dodgy and has left me feeling seriously concerned about how this business operates. How can something like this happen in Australia when there are all these so called consumer protections in place?

If you are considering paying these people upfront for a service, I strongly suggest thinking carefully and making sure you understand what protections you have if the work is not carried out.

The workers arrived about an hour ahead of the notified time which mildly interupted my plans. They worked efficiently although they checked a gas heater which I wasn't using and turned it on to test it's operation. It helped them tick their boxes but took more time.

The men that came yo fo the job were great. Punctual, quick, polite, well manered. But its been quite an effort to actually get the job actuated. But ww did eventually get the stars to align and job done. Thanks guys

Since there are no issues with my apartment, the service is very quick. The guys are nice and go straight to work. It's finished in under 1 hour. The place stays clean after the service. Thanks!

The guys that attended where I'm renting to carry out the Safety Check were very thorough, very efficient, got the job done with a chat and a bit of a laugh had also. Nice and friendly and felt comfortable having them in my home. Highly recommend.

Is it normal for one of the inspectors at the end a 10-min job to ask to use the toilet of my empty apartment, do a poo then leave water drops on the bathroom floor because it’s an empty apartment with no towels?

Both Matt the electrician and Paul the gas guy were pleasant, efficient and thorough, with the latter noting that neither gas bottles nor stove were on solid footing. He rectified the stove and has made recommendations regarding the footing for the bottles.

The technitian Aaron was great, he was very good communicating with us and was prompt with his attendance time and his works , was very friendly to my partner and young ones ,

The person who inspect the property, Alexandra, is inconsiderate and got no respect for us. Ask to call before arrival but didn’t. Didn’t take off shoes whenever she enter the house when already said so many times no shoes in the house! I have to clean the floor after she left because of that. My girls are so impressed with their air pods they always have them in loving the quality and the clear crisp sound 500 % recommended also great is they don’t need to be charged every day like the cheap inferior brands totally worth every dollar spent great bargain definitely be upgrading in the near future always good to have back up in case lost or stolen

The technician was professional, courteous and carried out what I thought was professional testing of both smoke alarms.

They were very good people, and I had no problems.
