I’ve been using the Aussie Pal bottle around the farm and honestly, it’s not made of tough stuff. The outside has gone blotchy and feral looking — nothing like the durable finish you’d expect. When I sent photos and raised my concern, the company said they’d send another one after “examining” it and even questioned if I’d put it in the dishwasher.… Read more

I hadn’t. I didn’t want another one because I’ve lost faith in the product — I wanted my money back. Under fair trade and ACCC guidelines, that’s what should’ve happened. Yeti bottles I own are treated harsh and still look brand new. I wanted to support an Australian company but This Aussie Pal one is absolute garbage in comparison. Disappointing quality and poor customer service. Definitely not worth the money.

I almost didnt buy because everyone here is just hating but the aussie pal is genuinely the best water bottle and WELL worth the premium. I have the 4L bottle with the sling and it keeps ice water for like 2-3 days before it melts. Can even fit at least 2 500ml energy drinks in there to keep them ice cold all day which i do sometimes. The sling is… Read more

essential as it weighs quite a bit when full, so much better to chuck it over your shoulder.

Don't listen to all these goobers complaining.

I was give the 4L water jug for my birthday. I have loved the product since my first sip. It's the best drink bottle I've ever had. Cheaper than the yeti and works 100% perfectly. It really does keep the water ice cold for 36 hours. Full marks and I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Got the 4litre hydro jug. If you like trying to suck a golf ball through a garden hose this product is for you. They advertise how easy this straw is to use and it's simply not the case. Don't buy Show details

Easily leaks. Straw continually falls out. Doesn't keep it cold as advertised. OVERPRICED. As a mum of young kids, I was really looking forward to the dual lid design. Straw for me and the chug lid to top up my kids smaller water bottles when out and about. However the straw mechanism isn't well designed at all. It easily opens up and twice… Read more

within the first week I had 2L spilled completely into my car. Secondly, the internal straw falls out very easily. Nothing like having to stick my hand into my drinking water to retrieve the internal straw to re-attach. Very unhygienic. I sent an email regarding both of these issues and their AI response was to simply push the straw in harder? Their response makes it sound like a reoccurring issue with their bottles so I lost a lot of confidence that this issue would be resolved. They never followed up from their AI response with a human response which was unfortunate and poor customer service. Also their straw is not long enough for the bottle, which is not an issue I have with my yeti. Minor inconvenience which alone would probably not bother me but it is something I noticed immediately.

The handle is silicon, IDK if this is to go with their 'sauna friendly' design (I literally never go in a sauna though lol) so I'm not sure how long the handle will last.

It certainly doesn't keep the water cold for 38+ hours as advertised and condensation results in my water bottle being wet.

I should have known it wasn't going to be great after seeing the continual countdown on their 3 for 2 sale.

Fortunately this is my back-up water bottle (I have a Yeti - Straw- and EverEco - Chug - both perfectly perform as advertised) and I'm glad I didn't buy into the 3 for 2 and get my kids ones too. This purchase was an expensive mistake and what is worse is I talked others into buying in with me before I had tried.

This insulated flask is brilliant. Really well made and does what it says, it keeps the cold and feels nice to use. This refers to the performance of our second one. The first one we bought unfortunately didn't work straight out of the box. We could feel cold on the outside walls immediately. We got in contact with Aussie Pal and were really… Read more

impressed by their quick responses and solutions based attitude. They asked us to send them a pic of condensation on the bottle which appeared after about an hour. We also additionally sent them pics using a digital thermometer.

They were straight back to us with the offer of a free return label. They have a warehouse near Nerang and as we were in the area my partner dropped it off and got an immediate replacement. He found the warehouse guy genuinely backed the products and really cared about customer experience.

Apparently failures like this are not common. If you do get a bad one, it's reassuring that they are a real company who care about their product and have a physical presence in Australia. The product feels top quality and is apparently made in the same factory as another well-known quality brand.

Having had thermal flasks for many years I know they are sensitive creatures....treat them well and don't drop them or put them in the freezer.

Zero stars not 1 star. I bought the blue 4L hydrocrap and my water tasted like i put my car keys in my mouth. I tried over 7 different methods with all sorts of stuff to get rid of taste, for example bicarb soda, vinegar, orange, lemon, denture tablets all over night on different nights....nothing, still metalic taste. EMAILED FOR A REFUND 5 TIMES… Read more

AND NO REPLY. Want to waste $100-$200? then buy from this company. I will destroy them on social media and then i will ask for a charge back from my bank. I have very good tap water at home with filter and iv used other metal bottles b4 so I can prove it's their hydracrap bottle.

Poor quality insulation and water does not stay cold for long and condensates a lot. I had my jug replaced under warranty thinking it was faulty, but the replacement was exactly the same. Customer service was also not very good.

Ordered 6lt jug, advertised to keep drinks cold 24+ hrs... ABSOLUTE RUBBISH! Doesn't even keep cold for 12!!! Then they offer store credit or replacement.. Dude, if it doesn't work as ADVERTISED and it's not faulty, why would I want it replaced or anything else you sell??? They said because I have used it can't refund... AGAIN will ask, how could… Read more

I know it didn't work as ADVERTISED if I don't try it? STOP FALSE ADVERTISING then no one will need to open the box :(

Not as good as claimed – Last December I purchased two 4 litre Hydro Jugs (insulated drink containers) from The Aussie Pal thinking they would prove great over Xmas to keep drinks cool and wishing to go for an Australian company instead of the other well known quality insulated drink ware manufacturer. Remember these things are not cheap. With lots of family visiting… Read more

over that time I thought cool drinks for the kids was covered. Upon initial purchase I three quarters filled one up with ice then topped up with water. It sat on my kitchen bench in an air-conditioned house and it was great, it met the factory statement of 36 hours of insulation quite easily. Then came the real test same filling procedure but the jug sat outside. Not in the sun or direct heat but in the shade on mid thirty days. Result was ice all melted in three hours. Drink still coolish at six hours. Drink was warm p*ss at eight hours. So the factory claim of 36 hours is, in my opinion, outrageous. If I only wanted this container for cool drink in the house I wouldn't have purchased it. I have a fridge that dispenses cold water. The Aussie Pal company target tradies etc. with their advertising campaigns. I would think their insulated jug would be lucky to last four hours in a hot car. I haven't tried it with hot beverage at this time. So all in all I feel somewhat disappointed. By the way I used deep frozen ice cubes as well, not the stuff from the drive through.
