The First Years Swing Tray

Unsafe – I followed the instructions to put it together, I have found my son when he kicks his feet or moves around abit the "safety strap" comes out and he can fall and climb out, the safety strap is only held on to the seat by the ends with the little flap going through 2 holes. He leaned forward today (after I sent an email to complain) and the back bit snapped forward, and the "safety straps" came out of the holes again. Covienent Unsafe

while travelling as well.My toddler enjoys his meal times and loves to sit on his seat. The safety harness is great and a must to use when the child sits on it.

Its easy to clean and even dishwasher safe. I mostly use to clean it with a wet wipe. It is always a good idea to spread a plastic sheet on the dining table chair before attaching this swing tray on it because lots of food particles go on to the dining table chair and spoils it.

The swing tray releases and adjusts with one hand, making it easier for us to put the child in and out of the seat. My son loves its bright colour. Good quality material, easy to clean Dining table chair gets easily spoiled with the mess , so its better to cover that chair first.

affordable – I bought this product when our son was about 18 months old and when he wanted to join in being part of the family meals. it, but i think that was my fault and could happen to any seat. He was swinging on his chair and fell back hitting his head on the floor. I had told him many times before not to swing on his chair, but didn't get it. He of course hasn't done that since.

I don't use the tray at all as it fits nicely under the table. it was a good price in Big W for what it is. It is hard to clean between the cracks of the sides and the bottom of the chair. It would be better if went a bit higher as my son finds it hard to reach his food sometimes, especially if it is in a bowl.

Dangerous and cheap – I brought this for my two year old as my four year old had the same brand. This model is aweful, made of cheap material and when my two year old held the back of the booster seat it snapped forward and she fel backwards. to fit under my table and they have widened the base so I dobt it will fit on many dineing chairs. This is being returned tomorrow. Dont know why they didnt stick with the old design !

Dangerous, made very cheap

the ground as a way to keep bub in one place and with his food right in front of him. $60 seemed a bit steep for what it was and I've seen better ones for that price since. I think that's largely because the retailer was an expensive one though.

OK – Overall, I like this seat. We ended up using it as our permanent highchair, it's more convenient to have it on one of our dining chairs than have a big highchair, and it also has the benefit of being protable. friend's houses so he could sit down and eat properly. In comparison, it is not as good as the Fisher Price seat, which folds up smaller and has a sturdier base. The swing tray is large and makes it easy to move to get baby in and out. The tray cover is handy to either keep the tray clean during transport or as an extra layer- some days are crazy and dishes don't get done between mealtimes! The seat belts are easily removed to wash. It has adjustable straps to attach it to a chair around the seat and back, making it quite sturdy. It works well as a little seat on the floor, which my first son liked. It is easy to clean. The swing tray comes off too easily at times. It isn't very practical to take out as a portable seat because it is rather bulky when folded, and the attachment straps are not actually attached to the seat so they can dangle about or get lost.
