My son bought me a Thermos wide base mug so I could have a coffee or tea that will stay hot for longer. It certainly does stay hot for longer. I can have a coffee or tea that stays hot for up to 6 hours. The mug is vacuum insulated with double walled stainless steel. It holds 470mls so I don't have to make 2 or 3 separate cups. It comes with a 5 year warranty & it's dishwasher safe. It's the best!
Follow-up · It is very easy to clean, the lid screws right off. It doesn't fit into cup holders, at least not in my ford falcon however it is comfortable to hold.
