Tineco iFloor3

I need an invoice – I have been very happy with this product for just over 3 years. It has just stopped working. (I think it's the battery) I contacted Tineco and was told it would cost $218. This includes freight to and from Melbourne plus repairs if possible. They say if it can't be repaied a full refund is given. Very Fair. My issue is Tineco want me to pay via direct deposit or PayPal but will not issue me with an invoice. Is it unreasonable to require one?

Does a great job – Moved into a large home with lots of shiny white tiles. Only one charge needed to clean all hard floors in the house. Does a good job on everyday spills and dries within about 3 minutes. Used the Tineco cleaning solution as recommended. The self cleaning of the mop roller is very efficient but always need to remove both mop roller and dirty water canisters to give good extra clean then dry If you have inside cats or dogs I’d recommend sweeping or vacuuming first as all of the fur easily clogs the filters. Make sure you read the instruction manual and understand before first use.

Fantastic – I absolutely love my ifloor 3... saves so much time and really cleans the floor well... the cleaning solution is good, and isn't overly strong smelling. I have all wood floors and I would recommend this for anyone with lots of hard flooring

It mops better than a human can (5 stars for timber floors) – Bought for $649 from Amazon. I'll be honest and say that it was a bit of a gamble buying before trying. Fortunately it has paid off. At the end of the day this is a very fancy mop but it works exceptionally well on timber floors. The combination mop, then vacuum leave the floor streak free, almost dry (give it a a few minutes) and clean. The dirty water tank will show just how dirty your floors are. It's probably a good idea to dry vacuum the floor first, but not essential as the iFLoor 3 will pickup all manner of flotsam jetsam dirt. It is quiet, has a neat self cleaning function. However, this does not mean you don't have to cleaner the cleaner. It is really important you wash and dry the dirty water tank, rinse & dry the roller and HEPA filter before you store it to avoid unwanted smells.

The unit is really well built and sturdy. The packaging is outstanding and is an indication of the quality of the unit. I did try it on outdoor porcelain and its performance was a little lacklustre. I gave it 5 stars for what I intended it for and that is hardwood flooring. There are two water tanks. The smaller one is for clean water and a small amount of solution (Tineco says you must their solution, pfffft, I think that is just a furphy). The larger tank is to collect the dirty water and debris. You can mop a reasonable sized room without having to empty or refill the tanks. It is quiet. (Well to my ears at least).

Don't expect it to be a floor scrubber. If you have dirt trapped in the woodgrain (particularly on floating floors) it is not going to get that dirt out (you'll need a bit of elbow grease for that), but it will clean the surface really well if it is in reasonably good condition.

Its competition is the HiZero Bionic Hard Floor Cleaner which gets fantastic reviews on this website and I almost bought one of them.

Why didn't I?

Purely because when I searched for "Tineco iFloor3" I was transferred to the hizero.com.au site. Not ethical in my opinion manipulating the search engine optimisation like that.
