Don't Not Buy these bottles! – Absolutely appalled,Brought 6 tommee tippee glass bottles 6 months ago for our daughter and was using them without a problem right up untill today where the whole thing completely shattered in her changing bag. Nothing was done differently had our boiling water in them as per usual ready for her bottles threwout the day and noticed water leaking… Read more
from the bag, when inspected we'd realised 2 of her glass bottles had completely smashed to peices . Just thankfull that it didn't happen whilst she had hold of her bottle. I'm honestly disgusted and feel sick to my stomach at the thought of it happening whilst my baby had hold of her bottle herself like she dose most days. It's unthinkable what could of happened!
My 1 year old needs stiches, do not risk!!! – Do not buy this bottle, it is definitely not safe!!! My 1 year old has to get stitches in the palm of his hand due to the bottle shattering. Im absolutely shocked this bottle is approved for baby use considering how easily it breaks, not worth the risk, stay clear.
A danger to your baby – We bought two glass bottles for our 6 month old. We used them for 5 months when one day (at 11 months old)she managed to shatter one purely by hitting it on the cot rail. We always washed them by hand no dishwasher. Website claims they do not break into shards however they definitely do! Not worth the risk. Steer clear. Show details
Do not buy! – I bought ten of these bottles when we switched to formula feeding and tonight I noticed that most of them have cracks and chips around the top of the rims. Absolutely terrifying to think I have been feeding glass shards to my five month old baby! Show details
Thumbs down for these German made bottles – We bought these on sale and were disappointed. The measurement scale in black ink started to flake off after first time sterilisation which is appalling. The ink flakes ended up on the other bottles, which meant they needed to be wiped over before use and resterilised. The measurement scale coming off would become a problem before long as it's… Read more
needed for adding the right amount of water for the baby formula.
The teats were too soft. Our baby enjoyed sucking from them but half a bottle in, she'd whinge and we'd notice that the teat had pushed inwards and she was drinking off the tip of the teat. I had to pull out the teat to correct this, three times in one feed, which was inefficient and owing to poor teat design.
The shape of the bottle was large and cumbersome and only just fit into our bottle warmer.
We returned all four of our bottles for full refund.
Baby liked the teat but it caused bad wind – I was using this bottles for the past month and s half because I thought they are the best for wind and reflux. I’m a first time mum and I didn’t know about any other brand. My baby liked the teat for a newborn but as she grow older she started to refuse drinking from the bottle. She is 12 weeks now and with bad wind from the bottle. Every time I… Read more
feed her she struggles and put her knees up because she is in pain. They don’t work for baby with wind and won’t help with reflux as well.
