These are great quality pumps. Simple install and easy to troubleshoot if the need arises. After sale service and support is EXCELLENT!!!! A rare quality these days. I would not consider any other solar setup. Suits our needs perfectly on our remote Central Qld cattle station

Well Water Level Sensor – Conglomerate. Also having longevity troubles with Tuhorse Solar Pumps well water level sensors. Have you found a better quality one it so what brand?
Tuhorse 4" 500W submersible bore pump ok – This 48V pump is okay value. The screen can get clogged with iron bacteria/sludge . but that applies to every pump. The supplied water level sensor is not the greatest. Sometimes fails at install testing, and then later corrodes to pieces (mine only lasted 1.5yrs) The control board does not like any nearby lightning ground strikes, will blow varistors. Again, nothing unusual there. Get the 240V/48V power unit if near mains, as solar supply can often throw low power led on control board. the direct 48V is great troubleshoot, and not wasting solar array power when pump not running. The bottom motor casing/shell circlip ring also corrodes/crumbles.

the reverse pressure switch sold by Tuhorse, corroded at the piping tube attachment, easy enough to braze shut, and replace aged seal rubber diaphragm..
In 2023, Ningbo Cheers Water Pump Co, China Alibaba supplier , sold & air freight similar cheaper 4" pump/motor assembly JS4-2.5-70 compatible with the 48V controller. (The Taifu Pumpset ID: 4TSS2.5-70-48/500) Ningbo carry spare screw/Rubber: part number for a replacement screw/rubber element JS4-2.5-70-SCREW They also have dam transfer pumps, and controllers.

tuhorse – These people are good to deal with. My pump arrived as ordered in prompt time and the staff were very helpful. When i had a problem with a solar panel that was cracked in transit , I sent them a photo of the damaged panel and they replaced it within 4 days.

A great solar pump – We have purchased tuhorse brand 4" 500W solar pump package since Mar 2103. We use it on a 8acre block to stock feed water and irrigation and does well. It takes me about a half day to fabricate the solar panel and controller supports and install the pump - every one has started up as soon as I have turned it on. They are easy to install and the bore low level and tank high level switches make control pf the trough level and protection of the pump easy
We bought a pump from Tuhorse too (3" 250W) with the panels and it has been great. The packing on the product was superb and delivery was fast.
Happy to see these guys get some credit. Bobby was excellent with explaining the installation process. Will definitely be purchasing again in a year or two.

Update These submersibles are rebadged chinese Taifu units. Chinese bearings always failing. Check you tube for assembly/disassembly hints eg similar pump external link external link
