Uberbrau Ultra Low Alcohol Lager

Thank goodness I found this low-alcohol beer after the production of Birell in Australia ceased. Coopers now makes Coopers Ultra Light, which is not beer at all because it is not brewed. Coopers boils hops in water, then carbonates it (0.0% alcohol). There is no malt taste at all, as barley is not used. Uberbrau Ultra Low Alcohol Lager is brewed in Germany and is made specifically for the Australian market. It is easy to tell if low-alcohol "beer" is brewed. It has no alcohol content if it is carbonated flavored water. Uberbrau Ultra Low Alcohol Lager has 0.4% alcohol. Real brewed beer cannot be reduced in alcohol content below 0.2%. Uberbrau Ultra Low Alcohol Lager has only about a third of the malt taste that the discontinued Birell had. However, it tastes like real beer with a low-level of hops and it has a malty taste.
