Poor quality plastic flaking badly – Like other reviewers I wondered why my hand and bathroom were covered in black, only to find the handle and cylendar of my dryer was flaking within a week of taking it out of the box. It is so bad and annoying that I am considering tnrowing it out. Show details

Excellent!!!!! – I only just recently purchased this hair dryer and I gotta say, it’s awesome!!! I love all the different settings and I even use it on my 4 year old! She loves it! I use the diffuser end on my hair as I have long, curly hair and I love to keep my curls, so I use it to tone down the frizz and add more curl! Works a treat! Excellent hair dryer! Show details

Steer clear! – Have owned this hair dryer just over 1 month and all the paint is flaking off the handle! Pretty disappointed. The hair dryer itself isn't too bad, thought it would be more powerful though. Show details

Black paint rubs off onto your hands for weeks and months – While the hair dryer does what it’s meant to, after a week or so I was wondering why I had black bits of paint on my hand. The handle has been shedding paint for weeks and it’s too much of a hassle to return. So personally, I’d give this a wide miss.  Show details

Not the VS quality I’m used to – I purchased this after my other VS died. This one performs nothing like my older one. It was in a lower price bracket but there wasn’t an equivalent to choose from so that is why I purchased it. It feels cheap, the buttons are not ideally placed and not the easiest to operate. Turning the power on is easier than off. Can’t get a grip with my thumb and end up using my nail. Would not purchase this particular dryer again. Show details

Awesome hair dryer – I am very happy with this hair dryer, it never overheats and does a great job drying my hair without heat damage. Comes with attachment nozzle to get a good smooth straight look or diffuser for some curl, has a cool shot setting and removable filter to increase performance and life and has a 2 year warranty. Show details

Okay for occasional use – When my Vidal Sasoon dryer died I decided to purchase the same brand, the one I had lasted well and was easy to use. If you use a hair dryer occasional this one will be okay for you, it will dry your hair. I use mine every day or at least every second day and this is not the dryer for me. There are speed selections on this dryer but where I… Read more

expect the lowest setting to be a gentle speed (maybe to dry the fringe or a section of hair without impacting on the rest of the hair) this is not the case with this dryer - it's full on no matter what speed. The controls for the speeds and heat are on the top of the handle instead of underneath. I found this very awkward, needing to actually turn the hairdryer every time you want to adjust the settings. I have always found having the controls on the underside much easier to control using the thumb. I guess it's what you're used to using, but this one is either going in the bin or the back of the cupboard for emergency use only.

Great Hair Dryer! – It was time for a new hair dryer, not something you do regularly, so I researched a bit online before sending hubby down to pick it up. I love it! The heat settings give you more options, which I find helpful. Easy to handle. It came with the usual slim nozzle, a diffuser, and a new round brush, which was a bonus! Show details

Love It – This is easy to use, even with my thick hair. I loves the turn on button of it as it is so smooth and it is easy to turn on. It styles my hair very easily as it is not that heavy, would recommend

Great Value for Money – I've been looking for a ceramic tourmaline dryer for a while but they are so expensive so when I saw this at Big W for $45 today I nabbed it! The sliding controls are easy to use and it has a turbo and set function too. It's humid here today and even though I dried my hair this morning (with my old ceramic dryer) it's all fuzzy again so I've given… Read more

myself another blow dry and it's nice and smooth after using the VS Sassoon Expert Turbo. The brush included is great, I like the handle, it's not too bulky and easy to hold. The dryer is also very lightweight so easy to hold and control. It's also quite powerful. The only minor criticism is that I wouldn't say this is a quiet dryer, sounds just as noisy as a normal dryer to me.

Brilliant Hair Dryer – My daughter was given this item as a birthday gift. She absolutely loves it and uses it very regularly. It has great control in terms of temperature and air flow and the attachments work really well. It's good to see something being used regularly and lasting! This was a great gift and we would highly recommend this hair dryer.

Reliable. Easy to use – I have used this hair dryer on thick long hair and have found the drying time to be pretty quick. It does take a little longer if your hair is just out of the shower, but over all can use it to straighten hair and give it extra volume.

Crapped out after a week – All the painted inscriptions wore off and the fan simply died after 5 uses. Pathetic, considering above-the-average price tag. It's very shiny and stylish but that's not what I have paid for.

Pretty good hair straightener – I have very bushy, frizzy hair so I was looking for something that would reduce frizz. If I use the diffuser there is a slight reduction in frizz from my old cheap hairdryer, but not much. Overall, it is a good dryer, I just think I haven't perfected the art of blow drying my hair properly. It dries my hair quickly if I don't use the diffuser.
