Some functions don't work and run time is not what it says on the box – Bought this bedtime music/light box last week for the kids on the basis that it had a variety of music, it would play soothing music in response to kid's waking up noise and it would stay on for up to 45 minutes. Our experience - music and lights would stay for a maximum of 2 minutes, then it dropped to 1 minute and for voice activation - no response at all. We took it back to Baby Bunting - and after their fully testing the item they confirmed, it simply did not work very well and we got our money back. Reviewing Baby Bunting's own reviews showed 3 out of 7 reviews complained about the operating time - all stating about a minute while other reviews made no mention of it. My kids loved it as a toy with all those buttons and lights (thought fair bit of hard plastic to it) - but it confirmed my view of these sleeping/soothing devices is that they are often useless for sleep (at least for my kids) as the kids love pressing the buttons and get stimulated by the lights - I think a noise only device is more likely to be useful for soothing than lights.
