Very happy with this product! Great size for large family meals and very easy to clean. It's early days yet but the non-stick surface seems to be of a much better quality than my previous one (different brand) which I replaced in less than 2 years! did not follow through – Purchased at costco after being told product came with stellar warranty. Product failed after a few months and when I requested they honor warranty they basically blamed customer and refused to honor warranty. will never purchase from them again... Show details

Overvalued Junk – Literally the worst electric frying pan I have ever owned. Found aluminium frame around glass lid had a bent lip, had to reshape using my thumb, obviously there's no quality control at Westinghouse. splatter because it doesn't matter how low you go. The electric temp control mechanism feels like it will last about 2 weeks before crumbling. The frying pan itself weighs next to nothing, assuming its made from aluminium which will warp like crazy after a bit of heat. Unless you can get it for about $20, pick something else.

Love the stone don’t love the life span. Just stopped working – The frypan worked for about 2 years or less and just suddenly stopped. Light on the charge is on and frypan isn’t heating. I also wish I’d read these reviews before purchasing. I was just about to buy another thinking I was just unlucky. Glad I haven’t.

Worked very well, eventually stopped mid cooking. Used only intermittently 4 years – Bought this frypan in 2016 at Harris Scarfe because I loved the size and surface type. noticed a drop of temperature during longer usage and had to push the temperature up a little. It stopped working suddenly mid- frying schnitzels for a family party last Saturday. It was exactly as others described below - the control light is on, but nothing happens.

save you money – This was my 2nd. The first time I thought the kids must have dropped the lid and didn’t want to tell me. I brought a new one and used it twice and the lid exploded. No one else was at home so I need to apologise to the kids and will not buy another one Show details

Don't waste your money – Purchased the frypan under 12 months ago. Tonight it just stopped working. The power light on the cord is lit but pan is not heating. Have also found that the heating dial on the cord is extremely hot. I wont be buying Westinghouse ever again. Wish I had read the reviews prior to purchasing. NOT HAPPY! Show details

Very disappointed – Purchased less than 12months ago from Betta Electrical. Last night Thermostate light stays on but not heating. Reading other comments it seems might be a common issue. We purchased this one for the stone finish which we love and is very easy to clean. The size is great also but all the positives are meaningless if it doesn't heat up. Show details

Very disappointing at best – Bought one. Lasted 4 months. Light on thermostat did not turn on. Internal fuse blown. Got it replaced under warranty with another identical unit. This last 11 months. WASTE OF MONEY! – Don't even bother purchasing one of these, i purchased one of these from harris scarfe. Using it for the first time, it stopped heating within the first ten minutes of cooking & hasn't worked ever since. Shattered because i had bought it interstate & couldn't get a refund or exchange. Loved it until it stopped heating after 3 months – Great frypan. Non stick. Cooked lovely but stopped heating after 3 months. Great capacity easy to clean was very happy with it. Half way through cooking it stopped heating up. Have always bought Westinghouse problems and am so disappointed. Loved it till it died – I loved this fry pan, the size was great and the coating was awesome, non stick and easy to clean BUT it just stopped working half way through cooking dinner one night about 2 months after purchase. Stopped working after 3 months – I liked this frypan, it heated well and food didn’t stick. I used it regularly after purchase. However the frypan suddenly stopped working while I was cooking in it ... and never worked again! It had only been used for three months and was well looked after (the element never went near water). Save your money and try a cheaper brand – Would have been lucky to have used this 3 times. Noticed the second time I used it the temperature was fluctuating. Third time it lasts 4 minutes and then stopped working. Save your $$ and go the cheaper brand. I brought this thinking that a more expensive product would be better. No luck. Big size, great for family - So far so good – Very happy with my purchase. The large size makes it great for large family meals & I love the fact the element covers the whole base of the pan rather than just going around the outside of the pan making a cold spot in the middle like some others. You pay top dollar for something that doesn't last – I was disappointed with this one, purchased it and got to use to four times before it stopped heating. I was expecting that if I paid more, then it must be good, but I was proven wrong. I have used Kmart brands in the past, and I think that I will be sticking to the cheaper brands.  Show details
