A bad taste in your mouth? Take a closer look at the cashews. Insects have had a meal before you. Are the black spots on the cashews roasted insect faeces? Are the white bits salt or mould? Either way, expect quite a number of the cashews to look and taste like quality control is less of a priority than profit. Is the less than 10% Australian ingredients just the packaging?
