I love buying wine from World Wine. They have a great selection of wines that really suit my palate and best of all at excellent prices. Customer service is excellent as well.

I ordered wine 12 days ago, and have not received a tracking number, forget about the wine itself. Apparently their warehouse team isn’t even responding to customer service. Have asked for refund but not yet received anything. Extremely poor service and process. Will not recommend this at all

wine is my wifes favorite. it is our 2nd dozen. 1st delivery to front door. 2nd delivery taken to post office. we live in a gated community so safe to leave on porch. regards ken.

Couldn't be happier in my dealings with World Wine company. The French champagne I wanted is getting harder and harder to find and my usual source has dried up. But these guys found it somehow and it was delivered to me today in a very reasonable time frame. Communication was excellent and I will definitely buy through this company again.

Nice to find an Aussie outlet that sells English sparkling wine. I bought three bottles for my Aunt and uncle and their family, because they tried it when they came over here last year and loved the quality

I was notified of stock unavailability, there was no attempt to rectify the situation, discount for time wasted or advise of alternative options.

I will not engage with the company again and I am posting this review so future customers do not have their time wasted by products that are advertised as available at the time of purchase.

Wine arrived well packed and on time. Unfortunately there was an issue with some incorrect bottles but this was rectified quickly and efficiently by Hans who went out of his way to make the return process easy for me. This is the time when a good operator shows their worth, after sale. Thanks

Had a 'delivery delayed' email 13 days after my order. Received no further communication until I chased 25 days after my order. Apparently a bottle got damaged in transit with no suitable alternatives. Have asked for a full refund which I expect will be received. No goodwill gesture offered. Terrible experience.

Excellent service and support! I have had two separate deliveries with World Wine and they provided excellence service and value for money. Incredibly happy with my wine purchases. With my last order, I made a mistake with personal details and delivery address, and they were so helpful, spending time to ensure that my issue was resolved.

First few deliveries were slow but arrived eventually. Their supply chain seems to be fraught with delays. They put up stock on their web site and once an order is placed they go off to the winery and seek supply. The winery send the wine to WW and then WW send the wine to us the customers. I found exactly what I was looking for easily, the Torzi Mathews, I was after, proving hard to find where I live. Such a beautiful drop. Package arrived in excellent time, respectfully labeled, thank you world wine

Prices are ok, delivery is a problem with a long delay and emails necessary. In the end not all bottles arrived. Delivery was quick but I was not offered option of having it left by the back door if not at home. Going to the PO was difficult and meant collection delayed by several days because of PO opening hours.

Ordered on December 30th, no updates or response to my email sent a couple of days ago. Do not recommend. We ordered some Prosecco for Christmas from World Wine. It took three days for them to dispatch the wine. So an order placed on 16 December didn’t arrive until 1pm on 24 December. of the incorrect order when we were hosting 20 people for lunch the next day. Companies solution was for me to return the case to Australia Post as they found my order still sitting at their warehouse. Won’t be ordering from here again.

standout. Purchased from World Wine, I bought it on sale for $11 per bottle, compared with most alternatives sitting closer to $20. I personally prefer the Prosecco over the Blanc de Blancs in this range, though that is likely a matter of taste.

If you’re looking to cut back on alcohol without sacrificing enjoyment, this is an excellent choice. World Wine offered very competitive pricing, great service, and timely delivery. Highly recommended.

Overall efficient. It was disconcerting to get an email asking whether I received my order 4 days before it arrived! Chenin Blanc from Millton is lovely. The Pinot is Ok haven't tried the viognier as yet

Houghtons stripe sparkling Another replacement clean alcoholic beverage very well made and priced. I know I only review sparkles but I believe they are good for us. This one is from a very popular winery in the west.

Great wines BUT appalling delivery service. ARAMEX who is their delivery partner, failed to pick up a small order after 3 attempts and endless emails to Hans @ World Wine. What made this experience genuinely awful was the communication. I sent three separate emails asking for an update. Only one was replied to — days later — simply to inform me that my order had missed the courier pickup for that week. No tracking, no timeline, no real explanation.

After that, I followed up again and received another polite but empty response saying my concerns had been “passed to accounts,” with no actual resolution or update.

Then, after all of this, and after their delivery promise had been blown out to nearly 30 days, the “gesture of goodwill” they offered was… 5% off. Five percent. On an order that’s three times over their advertised timeframe, with no courier scan, and no way to know when (or if) it will show up. It was honestly insulting.

Even their most recent reply says a shipping label has been generated but the parcel still hasn’t been collected. Almost a month in, and they still can’t confirm where the bottle is or when it will be delivered.

This was supposed to be a small test order before placing a significantly larger purchase (~$8,000) for an upcoming event, and I am genuinely so glad I didn’t commit to more. The lack of transparency, the delays, the reactive communication, and the out-of-touch “discount” have completely undermined my confidence in this retailer.

If you need reliable delivery timelines, proactive communication, or even basic customer service, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. People deserve to know how poor this experience was before placing an order.

Ease of order, had purchased previously 6 bottles to try then ordered a dozen this week, appreciated detailed info regarding how shipping lead time would work and as love the free delivery based on min spend

I have only been able to find this wine at one outlet in Sydney. I can now buy it conveniently online at World Wine for slightly cheaper, and delivery was prompt and without any issues.

My wife had purchased a bottle of the Fat Bastard Chardonnay and I quite liked it. I found that the cheapest price around was with World Wine, so ordered a dozen. It arrived within a week and I am happy with the wine. I am partial to a buttery chardonnay and this one fits the bill. It is from the US. Show details
