Elite 2 – Xbox elite2 controller Microsoft want me to delete other licens ed software to be able to update and to use this product on windows 10. Also advertised that it works with Win7. Really good and nice on hands – Reliable fits ur hands nicely when u play any game or just use it for any sort of navigation, it's light and it's not too heavy and the grips make it easy to Play

and tear after all that use - but in all its my favourite controller just like a well worn pair of shoes or jumper! These controllers are the third instalment of Microsoft's XBox controller series XBox 1 had two revisions and XBox 360 has been stable so far with no revision to dimensions only its aesthetics. The controllers feel comfortable and natural in my hands and I rarely feel any discomfort as I feather them rather than clutch them tightly.

You can buy a 'chat pad' for these that clips onto the bottom and this had a full QWERTY pad that allows you to chat to others while playing or after - sure makes a hell of a difference rather than navigating the screen with your controller!!!

I've stripped and cleaned my personal favourite controller, and lubricated it both internally and around the dual axis controls with silicone spray and teflon infused silicone grease in the duel axis control shrouds (where they rub and bind usually) and find that I don't get any bind and white powdery substance like on other controllers that I have seen, my controller is notably smoother and faster than my mates controllers due to some care and service. And due to this I have done quiet a few services since then for other people and their controllers.

I use Energizer Lithium batteries in my controllers that make them far lighter and easier to handle for longer periods and they do last a hell of a lot longer than NiMh batteries and the replacement battery packs or even those heavily marketed "super heavy duty alkalines" which tend to get chewed up after less than a weekend's use. When using rechargeable batteries I go for the 2600mAh NiMh's which seem to last far longer than others - but this is a secondary choice to my Lithiums! Always keep a spare set of batteries at hands reach!!!

Otherwise - these controllers are bombproof! Been dropped, kicked and my old console which the other half has in the lounge room has had its controller chewed on by pets and kids and survived well... NO doubt everyone has a personal story behind their own controller and how they've survived! Light, strong, ergonomic, will last a lifetime if looked after! Could do with dimly lit buttons for night time use.

When combined with the Xbox 360 battery pack, you don't even need to worry about buying batteries for the controller all the time.  The major downside of the Xbox 360 wireless controller is that it chews through batteries at an alarming rate, if you don't buy the Xbox 360 battery pack.

problem that the battery life isn't spectacular, and that you have the choice of buying new batteries all of the time, getting a charger or buying the xbox battery pack. Maybe a fair bit on the expensive side.

better than the previous XBox controller because it's buttons are more closer to your fingertips so you can access them faster. There's an XBox 360 symbol in the middle of the controller and a ring of lights around the symbol when it's turned on. The light indicates what player you are(1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th) and the ring flashes when there's low bettery for the controller which is a good warning. Since the controllers are wireless you have to keep buying new rechargeable batteries each time the previous batteries go flat, or you can buy a controller recharger . Sometimes controllers turn off by themselves when it still has high battery life.

OK – The controller is ok, but nothing spectacular. They seemed to copy the Playstation idea with four buttons on the back of the controller. the 360 control. xbox 360 controls very very very very cool but diffrent. Its realy cool thay should make much better colours like silver and gold it would make it so better.

witch are normaly on a xbox 1 control on the front, on the 360 control the black and white buttons are on the top, where usualy your index fingers would go. The control also has fancy LED's witch show how many players there are and also a button where you can turn the console on with the control. only a few things wrong with the control. Firstly when your running wireless, it needs power, so when its flat youl have to recharge the batteries or plug the extended power cable in. Secondly, if you have small kids, they can throw the control around or even steal it.
