Build Quality is Questionable – So at first when I got this controller, I thought "Wow the build quality feels amazing!" Then after a few months of barely using it, one of the tabs to adjust the trigger deadpoint fell off. Now I don't know if this is a specific case with my controller, but whatever, I decided to brush it off as an isolated issue. Afterwards, I then noticed that my controller's right bumper would often go off on its own, or sometimes remain held down until some pressure was applied to it. This made me wonder if the build quality was as great as I thought it was initially. Afterwards, I noticed that the upper right paddle was feeling very very stiff, and not responsive at all, that's another fault, so please remain cautious when getting this and remember that you're spending 200 dollars on a controller that barley serves any extra functions a normal person would ever need to use.

Anyways, moving on; The grips feel nice and textured, made of rubber, Feels very nice in the hands, and it has some heft to it, in a good way. This controller doesn't feel like cheap plastic, but more like a premium piece of equipment. The joysticks do actually feel a lot smoother in action than the regular Xbox One controllers, as do the triggers. The face buttons and bumpers, however, feel basically the same. Performance-wise, I honestly couldn't tell the difference between this and a regular Xbox one Controller, so that doesn't r really get any extra points.

Overall, it's a good controller, but definitely a bit overpriced, just get the regular controller unless you have specific needs for the rear paddles.

Purchased in at Microsoft for $249.95.

Excellent controller but not made to last – Let me start off by saying the actual controller itself is excellent, it feels great in my hand has some real terrific customisation options and is a joy to play with but its just not made to last. I had the series one elite and again it was great but again only lasted me about a year this time with the series two I've had its maybe 4 months and the left joystick has already developed a almost constant drifting problem which can make playing some games almost impossible. It is a great controller but for what you pay it just doesn't have the durability, I would unfortunately be very reluctant to recommend.

Cant play with anything els it’s the #1 play – I got a Xbox elite controller s2 and I find it great for gaming with paddles on the back (4) and a grip all around the controller and Bluetooth with 3 modes of trigger stoppers and a grip thing on the triggers and a charging dock that can charge the controller in the case it comes in and it comes with a key to tighten the tention on the thumb stick (3) different modes including Xbox 360 tention and comes with extra thumb stick that u can take of to change (including Xbox 360 thumb sticks) and has no stick drift and no battery pack and when fully charged u get 40hrs play out of it and has a carrying case and now the home screen button is now just a click not a push in

Quality Product for an Understandably High Price – These days, not a lot of products come to mind that are worth their expensive costs to the consumer, The Xbox One Elite controller is a perfect example of how some products are worth saving up for. With it's sturdy feel to Metal-magnetic removable customizable thumbsticks, D-pad and paddles. This controller just eaks quality, personally I love the extra weight as for me it feels strong. The Xbox controller has been perfected and in my opinion I believe this controller will be the pinnacle of its evolution, it's ability to connect across Xbox and PC is just an extra I have not actually used yet.

On the Xbox download the 'Xbox Accessories' app to update the controller and literally change and re-map any of the buttons and triggers. There are just so many features to list but in my opinion this product is one of the best savings I have ever made.
