not inexpensive, given all it is, but seemed a good solution to avoid deep bending, given age and knee replacements! It would seem to me that Yates itself, as a seemingly reputable enterprise, should be the ordering point for replacement parts for their weeding brush. Please address this shortcoming and provide assurances of an efficient and reliable supplier.
Does Lincoln Plastics have a replacement Brush Head for a Yates Zero Weed Wand or Now called Brush or not – My photos show both my weed wands the one on the left of photo was brought when they first came out at Mitre 10 Cleveland. the second one lasted only a matter of weeks. The rubber on this one was flimsy and not well made. The rubber in the plastic packet is what I received from Lincoln Plastics Adelaide. My heart sank as I was told they had replacements for my zero weed wand now called a brush This was clearly not the same as the ones on the Zero Weed Brush and I looked it up on the web and it was from a Weed Applicator. So why sell me a part that clearly does not fit the Weed Brush. So do they or do they not have a fitting replacement for the weed brush or is this some sort of scam as many of these brushes are failing due to the shoddy thin rubber brush surround. I am a pensioner and cannot keep paying for something that clearly is not suitable. I cannot get a replacement from Bunnings Victoria Point as I lost my receipt and packaging. As you can clearly see I look after my tools and I was hopping If I could get a replacement for the Brush Head then I would replace both and keep using my older one as there is nothing wrong with it except the perished rubber due to age. There is nothing wrong with the brushes only the rubber headseal.
Not happy at all with this product – This is a real disappointment, the fluid just doesn’t seem to appear on leaves of soft plants. Show details
Doesn't release enough herbicide – I mix in Yates blue marker dye with the herbicide and I can clearly see the amount being released. This doesn't release enough herbicide to thoroughly cover the weeds. Works much better on weeds growing on hard surfaces or flat weeds like Dandelion or Richardia but there is still inadequate coverage. Length is good but I would have preferred a larger volume so it doesn't need to be refilled as often. Show details

Why are there no replacement seals or brushes – We are on our second one of these the first one lasted only 8 months before the seal broke and it started leaking and within a short time poison was pouring out. We bought a second one thinking we had a faulty one, but on after only 6 months we have developed a small leak. For the price they are not worth the price tag. Replacement seals and heads are a must. I will not be buying another one
Zero weeding brush problem – Good before the rubber boot leaks, the last one only lasted 6 months & at $36 a time (yes I am using Glyphosate as per instructions) no more ( rubber boot may be made in China)
The most effective tool on our property – We have a small farm, until recently it grew thistles prolifically.Several methods of control were ineffective. About 4 years ago we started poisoning them with the weeding stick.. Very effective. Each year the quantity of thistlea declined. At the moment they are so few, control can be established in an hour. It is just as effective on other flat weeds. As stated above After 4 years the brush seal is OK but the seal has fractured.
