Not as good in the past few years, less restaurants and I hate being directed to buy a voucher from Entice to get a 14% discount instead of using direct with the restaurant. I have bought the book for 20+ years but never again.

what they actually do when updates are released as it’s slow, laggy and overall horrendous, yet they haven’t improved it at all since it was an app. If I were Myer and paying an IT company to manage the app, I’d be embarrassed that I spent the money and had this app as a result, also the IT company is most likely a room in the middle of nowhere filled with injured donkies, that’s the ONLY explanation.

I've had for over 30 years. Tried the AI chat but went around in circles and some of my card number has worn off so cant enter it to speak to a human. Next went to the 1300 number waited 15 minutes when it was answered but no one spoke and after about a minute they hung up. There is no email address to contact them. I think this is somebodies idea of a sick joke. From where where I sit Woolworth's help on the app is a shining example of what not to do.

was told to wait two more days as the points would be added. However, the promotion terms clearly stated that the bonus period had already ended, so when I tried to reply to this point, the chat was suddenly closed. It seems I wasn’t even given 30 seconds to respond.

I then opened a new chat and spoke with another agent. This time I was told that there was no purchase record on my account. While I was preparing the screenshots, the chat was disconnected again. Once again, I was not given even 30 seconds. If there is no purchase record at all, then what exactly did the first agent investigate?

I opened yet another chat, but after repeating the same questions, I was told that the purchase history in my Flybuys account is not sufficient proof. I was instructed instead to attach the receipt and include the entire chat transcript when submitting another enquiry.

I was again asked which promotion the bonus was for, and once more requested to provide screenshots. I have had trust issues with Flybuys before, as similar problems have occurred in the past, so I did save screenshots this time. However, I do not normally keep such records. As for receipts, I do not keep everyday shopping receipts for over a month when they are not needed for returns or tax purposes. Without a receipt, it seems the customer is simply left with no resolution.

Overall, it felt like everything was being pushed back onto the customer. I was treated as if I was not being truthful, and the chat was repeatedly cut off without warning, with the explanation that “there are many people waiting.” However, at the same time, I was left waiting more than 10 minutes while they were “investigating.” Even when I typed “please wait” before the chat ended, it was still disconnected.

The issue was never resolved. I am truly shocked by this experience. It was an unbelievable level of customer service—easily one of the worst I have ever experienced. It does not even deserve one star.

Backpacker-Level Service Masked as "Luxury": A Complete Scam for Frequent Travellers Do not waste your hard-earned money on Accor Plus or the ALL… Read more

(Accor Live Limitless) ecosystem. What is marketed in slick brochures as an elite, premium membership is, in reality, a frustrating, cheap program plagued by dysfunctional tech, clueless hotel staff, and non-existent customer service.

Across online communities and member reviews, the consensus is glaring: phantom room discounts, phantom "Stay Plus" free-night availability buried under heavy blackouts, and support desks that vanish the second an issue arises. Having poured significant money and time into this scheme, my personal experience confirms that it is one of the worst loyalty programs in the hospitality industry.

Bait-and-Switch Pricing on the App The Accor app is fundamentally broken and actively misleads consumers. You search for rooms, see an advertised "discounted member rate," complete the checkout process, and then get hit with a completely different, higher charge on your statement. When you bring this up at check-in or check-out, the front desk simply shrugs and insists their system cannot adjust rates booked online. Raising the issue with Accor Plus Member Care is like yelling into a void: you are met with rude, dismissive representatives who refuse to take billing errors seriously, offer zero compensation, and leave you financially out-of-pocket for their own IT failures.

Untrained, Bare-Bones Front Desk Staff For a hospitality group that claims to operate 5-star properties, their staffing model feels stripped down to keep costs at rock bottom. Time after time, front desk staff—frequently student hires or temp workers who have received zero corporate training—have no idea what Accor Plus even is, let alone what benefits members are entitled to. Instead of arriving to a seamless, welcoming check-in, you have to spend 15 minutes pulling up terms and conditions on your phone to literally train the staff on their own program's perks just to receive your basic entitlements.

The 60-Night Platinum "Upgrade" Deception Nothing illustrates the contempt Accor has for its most loyal customers quite like reaching Platinum status. Earning Platinum requires grinding through 60 nights or spending thousands of dollars. As a "reward," the program promises 2 Suite Night Upgrades. The reality? When you actually try to redeem these supposed upgrade rewards, you are told you still have to pay an extra cash co-pay out of pocket. To demand payment for an earned milestone benefit after staying 60 nights in their properties is an absolute slap in the face.

Devalued Tiers and Zero Exclusivity

It makes total sense why Accor Gold status is tossed around like free candy by credit card partnerships and basic club memberships: the tiers carry no genuine value because the service delivered at the property level is worthless. Accor hides behind glossy marketing, but behind the facade is a bottom-tier service model masquerading as luxury. If you value your sanity, your wallet, and respectful customer care, stay far away from Accor Plus. Choose hotel chains that actually respect loyal travellers and back up their advertised perks with competent service.

However we should have looked closer as it did not include the drinks and wifi that we were after, which we asked them to price match the deal. It wasnt until we were onboard that we were made aware of this. We contacted the company straight away who were extremly unhelpful, basically just stating we got you a better price! Well sorry that didnt include what we wanted and I have the emails to back it up. They offered no compensation not even an apology! We had to payout $5k to the cruise line for the wifi and drinks package so they didnt even match the cruise price in the end. Be very wary of this company! We are very unhappy customers.

bonus Velocity Points, but the bonus has still not been credited. I have tried following this up through the available support channels, but so far I have not received a clear explanation or timeframe for when the points will appear. One of the DiDi email channels I contacted also turned out to be no longer monitored, which made the process more frustrating. I’m disappointed that a relatively simple partner-promotion issue has required this much follow-up. I would have expected clearer communication and an easier way to track missing promotional points. This still shows your dissatisfaction, but it sounds much more like a genuine first-person review and less like a demand or formal complaint. That should have a better chance of passing moderation.
