they sent it off to the company. I picked in up 1.5 weeks ago, having said they had to "replace the insides". It stopped working again yesterday. I will be going back to Myer and asking them to send it back to the company and give me my money back as I do not want this watch anymore. Aside from that, the strap looks great to start but I would not buy again, it looks pretty bad after a month or so of wear.

Sometimes I just buy the strap as the units have never failed me. I have dived with them as a spare backup timer as deep as 50 meters and they have never leaked. I love its simplicity style and large digits which I can see at night without my reading glasses. I can't praise them highly enough.

and batteries wouldn't last a month and then the watch virtually started falling apart. Numbers fell off the face and started floating around inside the watch. Condensation started to appear inside the glass and when Tissot Australia got it back they wanted money to fix a watch that would have been the equivalent of a brand new replacement. It was like an extortion attempt by a bunch of thugs dealing with Tissot now they refuse to return my watch and I've had to report it stolen to police. Scumbags

it. Have worn it into the shower with no issues. World time function is great, although personally I would set the watch to the local time, and use the world time function to see what time it was back home (so that the alarm times are localised).
The watch buckle looks cheap and flimsy - time will tell about it's robustness.
The watch is a lot bigger than it looks in the photos - go have a look at one in real life first if you are going to be buying online.
The battery runs down unless it gets some direct sunlight (through a window is fine). Obviously can't be worn under you sleeves over many days without sunlight exposure.
Of the 5 alarms, only the snooze alarm keeps going (as expected), but the other alarms are too short, and if you rely on them, you might sleep in!
Great Value overall. Value for money given the features Alarm 1-4 too short.

the thermometer which only gives out nothing but totally inaccurate temperature readings while wearing the watch on the wrist. The watch needs to be left off the wrist ( or any physical contact) for 20-30mnts for it to give out accurate temperature readings!!!. The compass markings on the bezel are a total fib as the watch has no compass whatsoever. So if you are looking for a compass watch this ain't no compass watch. Looks quite expensive and cool. The compass markings are an absolute fib. There is no compass in the watch.
Cool watch for youngster – It's really cool, smart and good looking watch for youngsters. The belt is very comfortable and light and doesn't get itchy with hairy wrist. Recommend others to choose over other brands.

I don’t buy watches very often, but when I do, I don’t shop simply by brand. The criteria I use are – the nature & quality of materials, the method of construction, the type and quality of movement, it’s weight and profile on my wrist. Finally, it must have a ‘wow’ factor.
I wasn’t even looking for a new watch when I stumble across the LOUIS XVI watch collection online and was instantly captivated. LOUIS XVI is a contemporary independent Swiss watch brand founded in 2012 that creates boldly designed, regal-themed timepieces that combine striking, heavily textured aesthetics with Swiss precision and engineering.
When I saw the Palais Royale 2 1833/1823 gents quarts chronograph with the baby-blue dial I just had to have one.
It’s available with a 43mm or a 48mm case size and both case and bracelet are made from 316L stainless steel and feature baroque artistic engraved scrollwork. As well as a safety latch the watch has a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a screw down crown for greater water resistance (5ATM/50 meters).
Now, one of the annoying drawbacks of buying a link bracelet watch online is having it adjusted to fit your wrist. Unless you have the necessary watchmaker tools it requires a trip to a jeweller and an added cost. But not with a purchase from the LOUIS XVI collection. That's because each is sold with the tool needed to remove links along with instruction on how to use it - smart thinking!
The elaborate baby blue dial of the watch I chose is hand finished and comes to life with 10 genuine diamonds.
The watch also come with a 5 Year International Warranty.
It has quickly became my ‘go-to’ timepiece and I get comments every time I wear it.

I bought this $9 Anko watch on impulse..I like the clear easy to read face..I thought Why Not…If it dies in 9 minutes or 9 days…so be it. countdown time, world time..... the engine in this impressive watch is essentially the same as that found in it's G-Shock Gravity Defier series minus all the triple-G protection and glass front (the S800W comes with a perspex screen). At 1/6th (or less) of the price of the G-Shock, I figured I'd have to lose a few or survive a some drops off a ten storey building, and still be in front! On top of that, the light is a feature many solar G-Shocks don't have.
The backing plate says movement made in Japan, unit assembled in China.
Interesting world time switch functions (when you change its locality, the watch hand sweeps around to the local time - fun to watch)
Gripes: the LCD window is very small, and for my failing eyesight, a real pain.

The watch is a proven good time keeper, on checking on a 7 day period it gains aprox 2 seconds per day, for a automatic time piece that is very good indeed.

Has 5 alarms, stop timer, day date, battery level, seconds and hour minutes seconds all digital at the bottom of the face with normal analog hands. The watch battery level was MED, I put it under my desk lamp over night, next morning level was HI. Should last 2-3 moths before a recharge. Normal wear in daylight will kept the charge up. The user manual is in Japanese however the watch movement is 5161 and a user manual in English is available on line. Really recommend this watch. I bought a second watch with different face as a work watch. Addition to review. The Wave Ceptor is not sold in countries where the atomic radio signal is not available like Australia. DON'T LET THIS STOP YOU PURCHASING. On your mobile phone download the free " Radio wave sync " app, put your phone on the same time zone as the watch, open the app, put your watch on receive mode, place the watch as close to the mobile speaker as possible, start the app. The watch WILL pick up the signal through the phone and up date. At first, it was a little confusing on how to set it correctly, but once I understood that I needed to set it to a city with in the same time zone, it was all OK. It has both analogue as well as digital, so I bought another colour for my 8yo to help him learn to read the time.

but without waking up anybody else! This is usually an impossible thing if you share a bed with your partner, and our baby also sleeps in the room! All I could think of was a vibrating alarm watch, so I Googled and came up with this product. Its not the cheapest of watches but I can appreciate the value of owning one. It would be especially valuable to people who need to take multiple medications at various times during the day and night. The reassurance and convenience of the watch I think way outweighs its price.
It comes in a large range of choices ranging from colours to number of alarms, to different replacement straps available. You can get velcro or leather straps. I bought the VibraLITE mini 12, which is much smaller than the standard design - and is more suited as a child's or ladies watch, yet still has up to 12 alarms.
Performance wise its fantastic and does the job. The vibration mode is silent and wakes me up no problem. You can also have a standard beeping alarm too if you wish. You just have to make sure you read the instructions carefully and make sure you know how to set it - otherwise it may not go off, or it will go off when you don't want it to. It will go off regularly every day until you deactivate it, and you need to make sure both sound AND vibration are set to OFF.
The after sales service has been great, I needed a replacement pin for my strap when it fell out (which is very unusual apparently) and they immediately sent me two replacement pins, and also offered to fit it for me.
I found it a bit fiddly to set the alams, and some of the buttons feel very stiff and hard to hold down, but this seems to be the only flaw. It may be only mine that is like that. The performance is perfect and does exactly what it is supposed to do. “Karntnerstrasse 16, Wien 1010”, Wien store. Thanks to the store manager Tiho, who was alert to recognize my struggle to purchase a “special” Swatch for my son from Vienna, he pointed me to the Moonswatch 1965, explaining the significance of the watch.
The Swatch Omega Moonwatch 1965 is a tribute to the Omega Speedmaster and the 60th anniversary of it receiving NASA’s flight qualification for all manned space missions. Having owned other Swatch Omega Moonwatch, the strap has a matching gray Velcro strap, a nice touch that makes the watch stand out when wearing it.
What’s special is that when the watch is placed under UV light, the 19, 65 and 60 on the dial lights up. The 1965 refers to NASA’s qualification of Omega in 1965 and 60 celebrating 60 years anniversary in 2025.
I purchased the watch for €275.
What I also discovered was that Longines and a company known as X were also competing to be the watch used for space missions. It is sad that Swatch elected to make the other watches for display purposes only. It would have made a wonderful collection.
