Handles get rediculously hot even with holders. To dangerous to use. Wish I had read these reviews before purchasing. Very disappointed because I thought that Baccarat had a good name. Show details
For the price, you would expect great pots and pans. But after one use, it was already causing discolouration. The handle paint started to peel as well. After a few uses, it’s no longer non stick while my ikea one still remains strong and non stick after a lot of uses. Don’t buy! Show details
Expensive, wears out quick, potentially a health hazard – 1 year old Baccarat Granite saucepan. The non stick surface along the edge of the pot is peeling off. Wiping the surface reveals this black powder which is no don't poisonous. Do not purchase!

Told it was good - 2 uses in burnt meal. Cleaned an reused burnt again. Junk Show details
Granite 32cm frypan – Bought from House Greenhills. Was expensive. Shop owner mentioned how great it was and we can even put these in the oven to keep food warm. My wife lifted the pan out of the oven with half a dozen pork fillets inside it. Handle snapped and pan and contents went to the floor splashing hot oils etc over my wife's shins burning her. These are… Read more
supposed to be some of Baccarat's flagship cookware according to House where we purchased most of our cooking utensils. Never again
Where is the black coming from ? – After using the griddle pan, rinse it, leave with water in it. Rinse it off, dry with paper towel. The paper towel smears 'black' across the the base of the pan ?? Show details

They use misleading Marketing Terms while offering low standard products – I bought the set a couple of years ago from Robin's Kitchen in Perth's Carousel Shopping Center. When they sold this they claimed that this is the toughest material I can get and pitched it as Granite stone pans but now that it started to peel off it seems like a teflon like material with stone texture painted on it. Using the term Granite is to… Read more
mislead customers that they are purchasing a stone pan that is both strong and durable (not to mention my Kmart pans I bought around the same time look 100 times better than this). Cut the story short I went to the shop one day and described the situation but she doubted I would be able to return it since she believed that I probably haven't been taking good care of it which was unusual since it was as though she wanted to discourage me from returning by putting the blame on me before even seeing the product. I contacted Baccarat customer service and they said I would need to take them to the store I got them from and have them assessed by the store staff. So I went there again and boy she was not happy to see me. Not even looking at them closely she went off saying that I must have used harsh chemicals and used high heat which was ridiculous. I had always used the normal detergent with a soft foam and your normal gas based stove for heating. It turns out that these pans should be used with extreme care to the point that you can't cook any food on them due to their usage limitations (so much for toughness of Granite/stone). She went ahead to keep insisting that it is our fault and that she will put that in her report to Baccarat so as to avoid them refunding for their scam product (unbelievable). She even asked us to return the knife set they gave us on top of this back in the unlikely case of being approved return by Baccarat. Then I communicated that with Baccarat customer service and guess what, they backed up their rep's poor behaviour and decided to not reimburse me for their faulty product.
I think this comany is not an ethical business and all their products should be banned, let alone these useless waste of money pans. I will take this matter to Consumer Protection after this. Terrible experience with both their product and their customer service. That goes the same to Robin Kitchen.
I wish I could give "-5" stars.
Fantastic product! – Reading these reviews I am wondering why so many people don't like them! Obviously they don't read the care label, otherwise they surely would have lasted longer. Had my pots/pans for over 2 years and they are as near to perfect as the day I bought them. I can still fry eggs without a drop of oil, and the surface is strong and sturdy without… Read more
peeling/cracking/etc. The heat distributes really well and evenly, the pans get hot nice and quickly too so I'm not waiting around for ages while they warm up. For the pans, I can't find a fault with them! For the pot, see the bottom paragraph.
If you want to ensure you look after your pots/pans, follow the instructions on them, otherwise they will die just like *any other non-stick pot/pan* on the market. Condition it with oil before first use, and condition at least once a month - only takes a couple minutes at most. Don't overheat the pan (if you see smoke, you are inhaling toxins, just like with any other non-stick pan), don't immerse in cold water to wash when it is hot (either wash with hot water, or wait until the pan has cooled before washing with cool water). Also, wash with a non-scratch sponge, and don't use metal objects on the pan. Although the pan is dishwasher safe, never use the dishwasher - they are too hard on any non-stick pan, and even though they can they shouldn't! Lastly, don't use spray oil. Apart from the fact that is tastes bad, and has chemicles in it... it also ruins non-stick pans!
Why do I put so much effort into looking after my pots/pans? Because I grew up in a house with parents who didn't care in the slightest about their pans, and I hated cooking due to those pans - everything sticking, heat not distributing correctly, etc. When I moved out I vowed to spend a bunch of money on a good set of pots/pans (which I did), and look after them propoerly. I have loved the Baccarat series and do not regret buying them at all! I have even expanded my collection with additional Baccarat pots/pans because they are so good.
However you'll notice 1 star is missing, and that's because they aren't perfect. The things I don't like: they don't all come with lids and you sometimes need to source your own lid - I think this is just rude, all pots/pans should be sold with a lid! Secondly, the pot handles get waaaaay too hot! The little mits they provide also get hot very quickly because they're too thin. The handles should be bigger and not made out of metal (or at least have a rubber coating like the pans do). Apart from those things, I have no hesitation recommending this product.
Where has this been all my life?! – We purchased the 32cm roast & grill, 32cm saute pan (with lid) and the 20cm fry pan; we could not be any more happy with this amazing range!! All items are a dream to cook with and clean. No food sticks (we use olive oil or go without) and it seems to retain more flavour than other types of cookware. These also come with a lifetime guarantee! I've… Read more

Saute pan This was our first baccarat granite piece; we purchased it because our previous saute pan couldn't really handle the volume of food we cook without spillage. This saute pan is awesome though and can even handle double batches!! The handles do get hot but that is to be expected when it is made out of materia that is suitable for the oven. The pan even came with the cutest little oven mitt type things to go over the handles; very handy! We got it on sale for $100 and it is honestly worth every penny, despite being the most expensive item of cookware in our house (until we bought the roast & grill later).
Fry pan This cute little fry pan was on sale for $10; we had previous success with the brand and had gone through two other similar size pans over the past year and a half. I am so glad we bought this - we couldn't believe how amazing it was, especially given the price!! We use it for omelets, steak, salmon, bacon and just about anything else we can think of! We run it under water and it rarely needs more than that! Such a little gem of a pan and it so much better than previous pans we have purchased at twice the price. One thing that really stood out when using this pan was the quality of the material - on a smaller item is was significantly more noticeable just how nice and thick the material is.
Roast & Grill We were looking to add to our ceramic cast iron roasting tray as its size was decent, but not big enough when entertaining. After purchasing this set though, the ceramic cast iron roaster has been stuck in the cupboard, never to see the light of day again. The best thing about this set is that you can use it together to lock in flavour and moisture, or you can use them as two separate pieces if you need the extra space. Super convenient when doing roasts if you would like to keep one tray vegan and the other for meat lovers, or if you're entertaining and looking to cook large amounts. We have also used it over the stove (gas top) for meats (with extra virgin olive oil) or sauces and have never been disappointed.
Where to now? After the amazing success we've experienced with this cookware, I would really like to upgrade my saucepan set to baccarat granite as I'm a little annoyed at how my stainless steel / copper blend pots are so difficult to clean (especially after working with dairy). I feel like Baccarat granite has significantly heightened my expectations in other cooking products as they are so easy to work with. The only thing stopping us from buying them is our budget unfortunately. When finances allow it, we are hoping to buy the 10 piece set as its better value for money (cheaper than the 2 saucepans and stock pot) and it comes with strainers/steaming inserts, plus heaps of other items I'm already excited to use!

Highly Recommend! – Wonderful set! Absolutely love these pans. One of them unfortunately broke and Baccarat was quick to respond and send me a new one asap. Huge thanks especially to Sheila who was responsive and helpful with getting this sorted for me. Can’t recommend enough! Well priced too for the quality.
Top service – “I purchased a set of Baccarat pots a few years ago and Unfortunately, the pots had issues.” “However, the customer service representative named Lovely was incredibly helpful. She promptly addressed my concerns and ensured that I received a new set of pots within a few days.” “I’m impressed by the efficient resolution and the quality of Baccarat’s… Read more

Excellent customer service – I purchased the Granite cookware set, screw from the small frypan came loose and could not screw back in. I contacted Baccarat and within 24hours of emailing the information required I received a response from Victoria advising a new pan will be sent out. Wonderful service Victoria, thankyou

Terrible quality – Absolute rubbish. Pans are supposed to withstand general kitchen wear and tear but these should be put on the scrap heap. Water and steam escapes from the seal at the base of the pan, and the copper colour peels off within the month. Don't waste your money. Show details
Not overly impressed – I have brought two, the first I dropped and it shattered into many tiny little pieces. That was my fault so purchased another as I did enjoy using it prior. The second one however I took extra care, only using vegetable oil and hand washing - I was just cooking some roast pork and went to take it out of the oven and the tray has cracked right… Read more
down the middle, sitting in the oven in two pieces, crazy.
Anyway, figured it's probably time to find a new tray as this one has not even lasted 12 months.
Very poor quality cookware – Non stick coating wears off quickly compared to other more expensive cookware. Poor quality compare with other pans I have used. I have been using the Baccarat Granite for couple of years now, and in spite of the claim of "BACCARAT LIFETIME GUARANTEE", the non stick coating has worn off and cannot be used now. I use induction cooking and non metal utensils and no flame has touched the pans. Show details

buying a second set now – bought the 10 piece granite cookware set a year ago for my daughter. Now I'm.getting rid of all my existing cookware to get my own. It cooks beautifully. Perfect non stick. Value for money. I do handwash for longevity as non stick cookware and good sharp knives should never be put in a dishwasher. They are lightweight and easy to handle. the only… Read more
drawback is the hot handles. It does come with padded handle grips but they only fit one of the pots. I love the glass lids with the metal handles. Can go from stove top to oven no problem.
Non-Stick pan that all food sticks too! – I have used this pan for 2 months and will be taking it back to the shop I bought it from! It’s absolutely rubbish! I have nothing good to say about it. Stay away! Show details
Customer service – I had a problem with a roaster I purchased. The customer service was excellent. The sent me a new roaster within the week. Extremely impressed. The girl to whom I spoke was extremely helpful Show details
Pans exceeded our expectation – we have a large and small granite pan and after we realised the stove should be set lower it has been great. Meat cooks to correct temperature at a lower stove setting. Easy to clean, handles are cool always. Product not light but not heavy about right. Show details
Warranty sucks – Purchased in June 2021 from Housee and the non stick coating no longer works and brown stains won't wash off. Apparently user error. I've Only ever hand washed when it's cooled. These pans can only be used for low to medium cooking! Who knew a frying pan that you can't actually fry on. Very rarely do I see a recipe using meat say cook on a low temperature. Avoid this company Show details
NOT as advertised – Spent $398 on this apparent Induction suitable cookware for our new home! IT IS NOT SUITABLE FOR INDUCTION so glad I waisted hard earned cash! Funny enough my cheap KMart cookware works. Don't believe what is on the website and save your money. Show details

Garbage – Brought six piece set, 4 weeks later non stick coating lifted… used rubber coated utensils and cleaned with wash gloves given with the set was told the damage was user error despite doing everything right eg cleaning, soft cooking utensils and right oil and was refused exchange. DO NOT BUY!!! Show details
Warranty Doesn’t Cover Non-Stick Surface – Purchased this in November 2017. Non-stick surface deteriorated almost overnight in September 2020. I then moved house and it’s taken me until now to find the box they were packed in to and to take it to the place I purchased it for a warranty review/claim. Staff at Robin’s Kitchen were dismissive and accusatory that any fault with the pan was… Read more
due to my neglect. Except that everything they said had not occurred.
Only ever used silicone or plastic utensils. I’ve only ever washed it with water and microfibre cloths. Never used dishwashing detergent. Never used dishwashing tablets. Never used aerosol oils.
Finally they told me that I shouldn’t use wooden utensils as they can scratch it (very rare if that occurred as I’ve phased out wooden utensils in my kitchen in preference for cooking with silicon “spoonulas”).
Then they accused me of using too high a heat with it. Even though I have gas and generally use a medium heat. Though I did use the large frypan on the large burner... vOv
Finally got told today that the warranty only covers the actual frypan, not the non-stick coating.
If that was the case, why not state that at the very start?! Why the pretence about how the deterioration was due to neglect?
All the time I’ve spent caring for these items... wasted time and effort.
The only thing this set is good for now is the recycling bin. Hopefully the metal can get repurposed and put to good use.
Careful the pot handles get hot – The pot handles get hot, and the socks that come with the pot are a sorry excuse for not designing cool touch handles. the lid handle also gets hot. The handle on the fry pan and sauce pan are of some sort of plastic which does not get hot, so they know how to make them. The cookware is lightweight and i did not have any other problems but really don't enjoy burning my fingers Show details
Suck you in with Lifetime Warranty and then Refuse to replace – Try calling their customer service line -No one ever picks up, and eventually the call just drops out. Emailed with the company back and forth several times to get replacement set because the pans are terrible and the coating has come off. They gave me reasons why I had that prob, and when I said that I didn't use hot oil or abrasive material they… Read more
then changed their tune and said I have stainless steel pans and that I just need to scrub them with abrasive materials. Make up your minds! These are not stainless steel pans, they are non-stick! They didn't even bother to read my follow-up email properly. I have now put in a complaint to fair trade as the warranty is only a sales gimmick and I have never read a review where they fulfilled their obligation to a customer. Never ever buy from the GIANT that is (Baccarat) Global Retail brands. They don't care about the consumer one bit. They will rip you off because they know they can get away with it. Go to fair trade.
This is a great NON STICK pan – I bought a Baccarat STONE pan and after only 3 uses all the food started to stick to the bottom of the pan. It was also very difficult to clean with a non scratch scourer. So I exchanged the pan for a Baccarat Granite pan and it is fabulous !!! I already have 2 smaller Granite pans which are great also. So at this stage would thoroughly recommend Show details
Bought the baking trays granite range – Started off I was impressed. Then, the coating has chipped off in less than 6 months of us. I hand wash my baking trays only too. I bought my mum some as well as I was initially impressed and hers have also had the coating chip off. Would not purchase again even if they were 10 cents. Show details
Terrible Product!! – Very disappointed in this product! The handles get extremely hot and the non-stick surface only lasted about a month! I will never buy this brand of cook ware ever again! Show details
Warranty not worth anything – Bought non stick pan from House Coomera QLD less than 2 years ago. The base plate has separated from the pan (see photo). Neither House nor Baccarat would do anything. House would do nothing Baccarat said go to House. Total rubbish product, service and warranty Show details
Pretty much what you expect from a discount outlet like House – Purchased Jan 2108. Always hand washed with microfibre, and used plastic/ wooden utensils only (made that mistake with previous cookware). Mid-2020 all have significant non-stick surface coating damage and are unusable as the coating lands in the food. Handles are too hot - they supply mini oven mits to hold the pots. Most pots and pans are too… Read more
light on the bottom to work well with our top-of-the-line induction cooktop. The small pan and pot don’t work at all due to a lack of magnetic mass for the induction to detect. Don’t expect to use the 25 year warranty. House is a discount chain masquerading as a kitchenware store. They do not do customer service and will argue out of any claim as if they are an insurance company whose default answer is always no.
Love them – I have a problem with my Smeg induction hot plate it is working I intermittently. Had the service man from Smeg whit says it is my baccarat Granite pans. They are not good for induction I had to buy all new pans when we moved to induction. Can you please tell me why there is a problem when I researched it well and were told they were very good. Please help me as I cannot afford to buy another new setup. Many thanks Show details
