An eBay seller of Billyboil says in its ad, "New version 2025". When comparing prices, this information from Billyboil's maker might help you determine if you really need a "new 2025 version", being a higher price than can be found elsewhere: The 3L Billyboil design has been the same for a few years. (Many years ago we sold an insulated, but not vacuum insulated Billyboil.) For the larger 4.5L Billyboil, the lip of the inner pot was strengthened for the 2025 production run.
Follow-up · To my knowledge, changes from older models were only those I originally mentioned. My sister bought the smaller version, and we are very happy with it. Bought this week. Works excellently. I bought the 3L as I thought I would get 3L of cooking volume. Not so. The cooking volume is only 2.250L, so disappointed I didn't buy the bigger unit.

An amazing Thermal Cooker for home or travel – Preparing par boiled rice in a rice cooker being no good we were looking for a thermal cooker. Picked this as it came up on Google and its beenmore than a year of regular use and no issues or challenges. Stuff remains very warm to hot for up to 5 hours and still quite warm after 8-10 hours. We use it at home.
