the non stick is completely gone and it is so hard to clean. My first one, I used water to try wash it which went into the cooker and blacked out my house! They replaced it but again, non stick gone after a few uses. It could've been so good......a bit of a shame really.

used it because of this. I didn't know it should not take that long until I got a cheapy pressure cooker recently. I contacted Breville and as it was just outside of warranty (I paid extra for 2 year warranty too) they wouldn't replace the unit or cover repairs or refund. They offered half off a new replacement unit but why would I want that when it takes so much longer to get up to pressure? I wanted a refund or credit to buy a different Breville product from their webstore like their reliable espresso machines I have owned for many years. For such an expensive appliance this is pathetic after sales service. My Aldi pressure cooker at fraction of the price works faster and better.

missed a beat. My wife wanted a slow cooker but i wanted a pressure cooked so this was the compromise. We now rarely use the slow cooker as you can get the same result in a much shorter time with pressure cooking. My wife is converted and it is hard to imagine not owning this. So much so we have looked at purchasing a another one as a back up if this one does stop working. The seal does stretch over time, so we have purchased a spare for this, but that is after at least 2 years of regular use. The seal is still working, just a slightly looser fit than when we purchased it. We have cooked roasts, stews, risottos, rice, soups and many other meals in this pressure cooker. All with great success. I would highly recommend this product to others, and i hope they have as much success with it as we have.

via WiFi. If the item hadn’t been spruiked as having that capacity, I would have bought a cheaper model. Wishing I had done this now, as I have wasted 3 full days trying to connect it via WiFi. The WiFi part is working fine, but there is nowhere on the Tefal App or their website where to insert the Association Code generated by the Cook4Me to give me access to the hundreds of recipes online. So, just wondering if anyone out there has bought this model and successfully paired it online??? If not, perhaps this part of the item is faulty/inoperable. I would like to provide the manufacturer with an accurate review, especially if this part of the item is a dud. I think this item only went to market in February of this year. Many thanks for any help provided. Tefal Customer Service was very reluctant to help, and only sent irrelevant information, assuming I was in the wrong. I bought the original Cook4Me many years ago, so am fairly familiar with it.

in the “burning” error and will burn at the bottom but remain uncooked in the rest of the machine. I had another pressure cooker for 5 years and used it weekly with no problems at all, but I bought this one because it did not have a non-stick surface with forever chemicals. Big mistake! and for that it does a great job. I use it several times a week for rice. Simply use the correct water & rice ratio, and the machine will turn itself off and beep when the rice is done. Much better than cooking on the stove top where you have to keep an eye on it and obviously turn it off when it's done, or in the microwave where it would always boil over and make a mess. I sometimes use the steamer basket to cook veggies at the same time as cooking rice, which is very handy and efficient. I also use the slow cooker low & high functions several times a week now, and most of the time I preface the slow cook with the sear/saute. I LOVE that there is a sear function on the machine so that I can brown meats and saute onions/garlic etc directly in the slow cooker, rather than having to dirty another pan. The sear could be a bit stronger, but all in all it's fine. I wish it had a timer/delayed start though, for the days when I go to the office but only need it to cook for a few hours. Without a delayed start, I'm restricted to recipes that require at least 8 hours of cooking. The non-stick coating on the inner pot insert is pretty cr*p though, it's totally scratched even though I only use silicone or wood utensils. I think the bones of meat sitting in the pot is enough to scratch it. Luckily it is possible to buy a replacement pot as a spare part - I think that's really important and it's great that Breville offers this, rather than forcing consumers to throw away the whole unit because of one damaged part.

Edited to add on 3/4/2024: My machine has stopped working now, after owning it for 8 years and using it regularly for 1 year. The heating element stopped heating. I won't repurchase because of the non-stick coating on the inner pot, which flakes too easily and I can't imagine how much of it has gotten into our food. That was by far my biggest complaint about this machine. I would easily have repurchased it if the inner pot was stainless steel.

Perhaps they would like to explain why they don't even bother to provide a list of authorised small appliance repairers to fix their global design fault known as the "E5 Error" that occurs on their Crock-Pots, and for which their suggested trouble shooting protocol does not work. It *should* be an inexpensive wire or sensor repair, but no - Crock-Pot, via Newell Brands, does NOT support the product once out of warranty, will not provider any repairer contact details, and in fact, tells you to "throw it away". Into landfill. An otherwise perfectly good machine, loads of steel, other metals, electricals etc - all to be thrown into landfill, and to harm the environment! And all for a design fault of their own creation, and a wire. DO NOT SUPPORT ANY CORPORATION THAT IS ALL FAUX CARE, AND NO RESPONSIBILITY. you not STONE COLD and food was still raw ended up having to bin the food because of how long it sat there, there are different lid locks for certain cook methods which is stupid considering it has a valve for pressure release, the appliance has just recreated the wheel into an over complicated and not useful space waister returning after 1 use, teefal needs to reconsider their products before launch this could honestly just be a faulty product but I'm not willing to throw out more food just for the sake of retrying this product

The seal is notably good, one lasted me 4 years. The pot is great, but it's non stick so don't scratch it.

The pressure vent can get jammed with foam from things, notably some legumes. You can put a drop of oil in it like you would pasta water to reduce foaming, and it also helps not to release the pressure early in these cases. At worst, throw a tea towel over it before venting.... if you really had to.

Can you use it to pressure can? I wouldn't, but yea you could.

When I found that the multicooker wasn't working I emailed the company and Nezie organised a replacement within a week. Excellent service.

bacon and eggs in the morning. Being so easy to clean we have been using it for everything we can which is keeping the bench space and stove top clean as well. Our previous airfryers have become dirty quickly because you just cant get into every nook and being so painful we would not clean them as often as was probably needed. Definitely not the case with the satisfryer. It would be good if it was just a couple of inches deeper for doing large roasts. Fine with an average chicken or leg of lamb so if your feeding 4 or 5 its fine. Still it has been the best purchase for our kitchen we have ever made.

Our pressure cooker only lasted us a year before it started malfunctioning saying that the lid was not sealed. We could only do short 10 minute cooks with this fault. Don’t recommend at all.

Like any appliance they always have their quirks, so with this rice cooker I usually have to stop it before the timer is done otherwise the rice burns to the bottom, but if you follow the cues of how much steam is coming out, it tells you that the rice is nearly done. I turn it off when there’s just a little bit of water left in the bottom, close the lid and just let the residual heat cook the rest of the water away for a few minutes. I’m yet to cook other things in it but love that I have the option to do that. The only thing that would make it better would be if it had a countdown timer to show how long the cycle has left. I love it, it’s quality, it looks nice, it cooks the most beautiful rice and most of all it’s non toxic

no indication of any error condition, this is apparently a common issue for these appliances. Deeply disappointed. Was used almost daily but still - I expect appliances like this to last 5 years minimum. Will not buy another foodi, will find a simple reliable air fryer well constructed air fryer instead and give up on the gimmick pressure cooker.

determine if you really need a "new 2025 version", being a higher price than can be found elsewhere: The 3L Billyboil design has been the same for a few years. (Many years ago we sold an insulated, but not vacuum insulated Billyboil.) For the larger 4.5L Billyboil, the lip of the inner pot was strengthened for the 2025 production run.

longer to cook a Jaffle than my cheap Breville appliance. It eventually does the job but does not seem to get hot enough to make a Jaffle promptly. I’m not sure if this is because it is made for cooking multiple foods that require less heat but for the price of this appliance one would expect multiple cooking settings instead of a simple on and off twist knob.

Another shortcoming with the Morphy Richards MultiPress is can only store flat in the cupboard it won’t sit upright on its back unless it is placed on its side. There is also no built in wrap around cord storage so the cord is often slivering around in bottom of the cupboard.

All in all I’m dissatisfied with the performance of this unit.

I'm very happy with this air fryer. It also has 2 years warranty and Big W will refund your money anytime during the warranty period. Much easier dealing with Big W than an online seller. Show details
