Misleading warranty, poor product durability, high replacement costs – Extremely Disappointed I purchased a Daisy pool cover because it was advertised with a 10-Year Warranty, expecting durability and peace of mind. Unfortunately, the cover deteriorated badly within just three years, leaving small pieces of plastic floating in my pool. When I contacted Daisy with photos and proof of purchase, I was shocked to learn that their “warranty” is not what it seems. Instead of honoring the warranty, they offered a pro-rata replacement that would cost me $340.51, plus extra charges for a refit kit, overcover, and freight—totalling nearly $486 which is more than half the original price!

This is not a warranty; it’s a disguised discount program. Advertising a 10-year warranty but requiring customers to pay more than half the original is misleading.

Slightly sceptical, as to just how much this plastic pool sheeting would warm the pool. Given it would certainly reduce almost completely evaporation, we purchased. What a pleasant surprise. The Blanket arrived very promptly. Was easy to slice to size with scissors. After just one days partial sunshine followed by two clear sunny days the pools water temp is extremely pleasant. The claim that it could heat a pool by up to 8 deg no longer in doubt. Have found it simple to slip in the end of our pool and roll back the cover on the surface of our plunge pool. This cover will heat and keep the pool clean as a bonus. Definitely worth the purchase. So now we jump forward a year, and as the weather cools, the cover is unrolled for a second winter. That week can be brutal in the tropics. No problems at all, with the ties removed the roll left on the verge of the paved pool area, has been spread over the surface of the Plungie Mineral pool to do its thing. Keep the water temperature tepid.
