A good fan with a small footprint. Not too loud – Purchased March 2024, based on recommendation and reading Choice review. (It was not a recommended model but the smaller DETF110 was, and there were no serious downsides). One big requirement for us was a small footprint for the fan, which this satisfies. The ability to have the upper and lower segments pointing in different directions is occasionally useful. The fan moves a sufficient amount of air, and does so without making a lot of noise, which was another key requirement. Being a tower fan, the air movement is distributed along a vertical column so if you want something pointing over the edge of a bed this isn't going to be a great choice vs a pedestal fan. However, for tasks like drying laundry on a rack, or blowing air towards us on a couch it is great.

No regrets – With the onset of summer, our old small tower fan simply wasn't performing as well as it should. Bunnings were advertising this Delonghi tower fan cheaper than numerous other retailers, so we purchased one. Unboxing was relatively simple, although you practically needed a university degree to assemble the circular base, the whole time worrying that it was going to shatter. Bit of a design flaw there, methinks. Anyway, we eventually got it up and running and must admit it blows air quite powerfully around our lounge room, even on the low setting. Very economical for just 40W. We still have to get used to all the modes, but I dare say that will come in time. Overall, we're very happy with the purchase and can definitely recommend to people who may be currently considering, to go ahead and buy one, you won't regret it.

Cool Comfort for Busy Homes: Why the DeLonghi Dual Oscillating Tower Fan makes me as happy as having the Pricey Dyson! – As a busy mom in a household of six, including five adults and two kids, keeping everyone comfortable during the hot months is a priority. After researching various options, I decided to try the DeLonghi Dual Oscillating Tower Fan. With its sleek design and impressive features, I had high hopes for this fan to deliver cool relief in our home, especially considering I already own a Dyson fan but wanted a more budget-friendly option.
Design and Aesthetics The DeLonghi Tower Fan boasts a modern and elegant design that fits seamlessly into any room. Its compact stature allows it to be placed in corners or against walls without taking up too much space. The clean white finish adds a touch of sophistication, making it a great addition to our living area without feeling intrusive.
Performance and Cooling Power When it comes to performance, the DeLonghi fan delivers a refreshing breeze. The dual oscillation feature is particularly impressive, as it helps distribute air more evenly throughout the room. This is a significant benefit in a busy household like mine, where people are often spread out in different areas. The fan offers multiple speed settings, allowing us to adjust the airflow to suit everyone’s preferences—from a gentle breeze while the kids play to a more powerful gust during particularly hot days.
Noise Level One of the standout features of this fan is its quiet operation. Unlike some fans that can be quite noisy, the DeLonghi operates at a whisper-soft level, making it ideal for nighttime use. My kids have had no trouble sleeping with it running, and I appreciate the lack of disruptive noise while I’m trying to unwind in the evening.
User-Friendly Features The fan is equipped with a user-friendly control panel that is straightforward to navigate. The remote control is a great bonus, allowing me to adjust the settings from the comfort of my couch without having to get up—especially helpful during movie nights or when wrangling the kids. The programmable timer is another thoughtful feature, letting us set it to turn off automatically after a certain period, which is perfect for nighttime use.
Comparison with Dyson While I have a Dyson fan at home that performs well, I find myself quite happy with the DeLonghi, especially price-wise. The Dyson is significantly more expensive, and for the cooling needs of our busy household, the DeLonghi offers fantastic value without sacrificing performance. It’s a great alternative that meets our needs without the hefty price tag.
Cleaning and Maintenance Cleaning the DeLonghi fan is relatively simple. The removable grille makes it easy to wipe down and keep dust-free. Given the busy nature of our household with kids and a dog, having a fan that is easy to maintain is a significant plus.
Overall, the DeLonghi Dual Oscillating Tower Fan (DETF122WH) has been a fantastic addition to our home. It combines stylish design with effective cooling performance and user-friendly features, making it an excellent choice for families. The quiet operation and oscillation capabilities ensure that everyone stays comfortable, whether it’s during the day or at night. If you’re in the market for a reliable and aesthetically pleasing fan that can handle the demands of a busy household, I highly recommend the DeLonghi Dual Oscillating Tower Fan. It has certainly made our hot summer days more bearable and is a great budget-friendly alternative to pricier models like Dyson!

Amazing features! – Absolutely no complaints with this fan. Runs like a dream! The fans power is enough for a relatively large living room. The ability for the fan to cover two different angles is a big plus. Functions are as described and sits on a sturdy base
