Best saucepan set i have ever owned & used - I have been cooking with these for over 10 years and are fantastic. once seasond easily clean up with scourer, ( like new ) The only thing is they might be heavy for some users Show details
Purchased an Estelle Per Benessere Ceremic casserole and after one use the handles started bubbling. This product is of such poor quality after one use, I dread to think of what this casserole will look like after another use. The guarantee on this pot is not worth the paper it is written on Not a product I will buy again or recommend. After… Read more
sale service is dismal to say the least. You can not get in touch with customer services. There is an automated answering service that keeps you hanging. This is one for the ACCC.

pots would work on the mediulm size induction zones, and several pans warped so they no longer sit flat. Strangely, a cheap Woolworths frypan works perfectly on the medium plate, but the Esteele pans don’t. Very disappointing performance for premium-priced cookware. Unfortunately I didn't expect this product to have any issues and have lost my receipt!
Follow-up · The package I purchased had three tiny pans and two large frying pans. The small pans will only work on one of the induction zones, which makes cooking with two or three of the small pans impossible. The company did reach out to me, but immediately about the warping of the large frying pans, but ignored the issue with the size of the pans. They… Read more

Great upgrade, with a couple of caveats (edited) – I've been using a generic set of Chinese made cookware for about a decade, but recently I started appreciating cooking more and found it lacking - uneven heat conduction the primary issue. The exchequer of finance (wife) gave me the green light to upgrade. Whilst I found this range in Myer they were horrendously expensive - Kitchen Warehouse were… Read more
half the price and made the transaction easy. Ended up purchasing the 14, 16 and 18cm saucepans and the 26cm saute pan. Followed by the steamer basket and 20cm lid to suit.
First impressions were good. Stylish, sleek design. Wide lips make pouring a cinch - sauces flow easily. The copper base generates impressively even and quick heat conduction - the whole base lights up at the boil giving an even simmer. Cleaning is as simple as wiping the pot with a damp cloth.
Several people have complained here that this cookware sticks. With the correct level of heat, and harnessing the power of the Leidenfrost effect - it's perfectly non stick, like all stainless steel cookware.
What's not to like (cosmetic). Copper tarnishes easily, if you're offended by this like some other reviewers then stay away. It doesn't affect the performance, and you can always polish the base if desired.
Despite being purportedly 18/10 stainless steel, my pots have surface rust stains even though they're hand washed and dried immediately afterwards. The Chinese set replaced by the Essteele never had a spot of rust in a decade of regular use.
What's not to like (functional). Hot lids. You need a mitt to touch the lids after a short period of time - the Chinese set had lids that were cool to the touch after hours on the stove.
EDIT - The handle on the 26cm saute pan fell off a few months in (bad spot weld). Essteele were more than happy to warrant this, and as the pan was no longer in production gave me a $200 gift voucher to their store with free shipping - so I purchased the larger 28cm saute pan. Great customer service.
Used as recommended but falls apart. This is the second time. Concerned about health risks. Show details

FAKE LIFETIME WARRANTY & DISAPPOINTING CUSTOMER SERVICE – I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience with Essteele and their so-called "lifetime warranty." Here’s what happened: In June 2024, I noticed that my Essteele wok was becoming sticky after less than 3 months of using, so I contacted their customer service to file a warranty claim. At the time, they assured me there were no defects and… Read more
recommended a specific cleaning method. I followed their instructions carefully, but instead of improving, the condition of the wok worsened over the next few months.
5 months later, the stickiness had become unbearable, so I reached out to Essteele again. This time, they completely shifted their stance. They claimed that the damage was due to overheating and improper use, refusing to honor the warranty, despite that the stickiness issue had been present since my initial claim.
To make matters worse, their customer service team repeatedly dismissed my concerns and refused to escalate the matter meaningfully. They offered a 25% discount as a "goodwill gesture," but this does not compensate for a defective product that should have been covered under their lifetime warranty.
This entire experience has been frustrating and disappointing. Essteele’s warranty process feels like a bait-and-switch—they initially deny any defects, then blame the customer when the problem persists. Their so-called "lifetime warranty" is meaningless if they refuse to stand by their products.
I would not recommend Essteele to anyone. Their customer service is unhelpful, their warranty is unreliable, and their products do not live up to their promises. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere for quality cookware.

Product failure of 2 out of 5 pans – Product failure on 2 of 5 pieces. I have mixed opinions on this set. The design, finish, weight and pan rims are excellent. however, the frying pan buckled so there’s a divot in the middle which makes for uneven cooking and burns food (see black dot in photo) worse, both this and the sauté pan copper bonding separates under heat and you… Read more
can visibly see a gap where the copper and steel are bonded. When I tip the frying pan metal debris falls out and it looks like salt and pepper - I’ve had to throw food way when I forget about this issue.
I consider myself a keen amateur home cook, and I take care of my products. For reference I have a Benzer fry pan from Victorias basement which is 5+ years and it’s still going strong.
I also brought Essteele stainless steel work which is fully clad and I highly recommend this product

Cookware that lasts a lifetime – We were gifted these as a wedding present....fast forward 16 years... We still have the full set. They are still spotless. Other pans and pots have come and gone but these remain. We use them daily (because we LOVE to cook!) For those people who complain about them sticking, half of them are reviewing a different product [Essteeles non stick… Read more
range are NOT made to the same standard] OR they do not know how to cook with stainless steel. Cooking with stainless steel is completely different from cooking with non stick so you do have to get used to a different way of cooking. The pan has to be the right temperature before putting food in and the temp needs to be maintained.
I wouldn't recommend their non stick range as we have had issues with them. But would 1000% recommend these if you want long lasting cookware that will last a lifetime. We would LOVE to get the bigger 9litre stock pot (we have been living with the 5 litre one for 16 yrs) but will need to save up for it as it's not cheap. But at least we know it will last till our old age (or longer!)
Handles can get hot if something has been cooking for a long time but if it's a quick water or soup boil, handles stay mostly touchable. Same with the lid.
It is heavy thanks to the thick base with copper through it which means that it heats very evenly and quickly so probably the bigger pans aren't great for ppl with arthritis in their hands/fingers or for ppl who have had strokes or other neurological conditions that cause upper limb weakness.
Ignore negative reviews. Just use them correctly… – I use the pervita saucepans and frypans. Stainless steel products of this quality are rare, here’s a few facts though. They do discolour. All pans do. They are not magic. Water hardness and dishwasher use exacerbates this. Who cares. Use non scratch pads. Always. I only use paper towel if you use method below. Turn heat low. These pans retain… Read more · 1
heat. If you overheat any pans things stick to them. We make blackened chicken fajitas on our frypan. The bottom is coated black at the end. Wait for it to completely cool down, put in COLD water once the pan is COLD, and 20 minutes later you can scrape off with a silicone spatula. Sometimes it needs a repeat. Only use wooden spoons and spatulas. Put oil in after pan is heated, not at start. Use rice bran oil or high heat oils. Otherwise it will stick to pan. That’s a nightmare.
Most people use pans wrong. I used too back in the day. These are the best pans I’ve ever used. By a substantial distance, but you must use them correctly.
The only negative is non glass lids, that’s pretty irritating as the lids are hot. Can be replaced with any kids same size; scanpan lids with vent a good option.
Best cookware pots I have purchased and used – I have had these Essteele Per Vita cookware pots for 2 months now and are very impressed with this cookware. I purchased 2 x 18cm, 1 x 20cm saucepan and 1 x 26cm Sautee pan from Myer. I have a gas cooktop. They are very well made and thick, solid sides and base, I don't find them heavy but do have a nice weighty feel to them as any quality… Read more · 1
cookware should have. They are exceptionally good at even heating the pot and I get great results cooking with these pots. The saucepan handles stay cool, but the sautée C handles do get hot and you need to use gloves when handling this pot. I always place and brush a little olive oil on the Inside base before cooking and find this usually avoids food stains. I always wash in a dishwasher and so far they come out shiny and new. I have had a couple of occasions when the inside base did not come out nice and shiny, as some have reported here, I find I get some staining when cooking rice and some food gets burnt on during cooking which the dishwasher was unable to remove. Like any stainless steel it will get stains, marks, etc. I use some Jiff cream and a chux dishcloth (never use a scourer here) and they come up shiny and new again. The copper ring on the base does discolour, both from cooking and the dishwasher, this is what copper does, it doesn't really bother me, but I see some have complained about this here. When I occasionally hand wash or when cleaning the inside base, again I use some Jiff cream and a chux dishcloth on the copper ring and it comes up nice and shiny and new. You could use a stainless steel cleaner or brasso or silverware cleaner in place of the Jiff cream, but why waste money on expensive cleaners when Jiff does the job. I have used just about every other brand and type of cookware over the years and find these Essteele Per Vita cookware pots the best I have used so far. Keep an eye out for discounts at Myer and other stores and these are fantastic value for money. Highly recommended

Essteele Per Vita are performance stainless steel and I would buy again – I have read some of the negative reviews: At least one is not for this product (haha) and some of the reviewers do not know how to cook with stainless steel (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ozV2T_G4ZFo). After the recommended good wash, on day one, I was cooking fried eggs without them sticking. You might need to give the edges a little lift, but… Read more
that's it. Slidey eggs for the win!
This pan cooks fish, steak, chops etc very well and is perfect for sauces too.
Unlike non-stick pans, which we were replacing every few years, this pan will last me the rest of my life and can be passed onto the kids.
Good then not then good again - edited by me – Our 20cm IT 14 induction pot started leaking granular material from one of the layers in the base. I couldn’t work out where it was coming but discovered tonight the gap closes up again after use. Very coarse sandy material looks like salt and pepper which was confusing! Definitely won’t use it again. Update Feb 23: The pot has been replaced free of charge through Myer. Very happy. Show details

Worst pan I've had in a long time – I only gave two stars for the design as it looks amazing. But the non-stick is very sticky. I only use it to cook eggs and they stick every time and I even use oil. Very hard to wash as well, don't know why people would recommend it, probably work for the company. Very disappointed, waste of money! Update. As soon as I wrote review here I got a… Read more
message to contact the company as there is a life time warranty. I gave it a couple of months, hoping magically nonstick will appear after I use some oil. Nope, just getting worse. So contacted the support, had an answer that my complaint will be reviewed within 10 business days and 3 weeks later - still nothing! Very bad customer service and its pretty pathetic I have to use a free pan from coles to make my brekkie instead of fancy pan from fancy brand.

It USED TO BE PERFECT until now – My family has the old set of the Essteele Per Vita for so many years and have been extremely happy with the set still. detergent, the first time we used it to boil water, rust spots appeared. I did not expect this at all as it never happened in our old set. A return was then requested from the store we bought it on ebay. We then decided to purchase from another store hoping that it was just bad luck from the previous purchase. But we were wrong again. Same rust spots appeared! When we called Essteele Per Vita, the customer service lady (Sharon), suggested to scrub the rust off using baking soda. I thought why? The pots are made from STAINLESS STEEL and should not really have rusted at all. This is a health concern and waste of time and energy to buy a saucepan that claims it is stainless steel but shows signs of rust spots before and just after first use. We have lost trust with this brand that used to be the best. If I could give it a no star rating, I would. For $180 rrp saucepan with rust spots, deserves no star rating. Purchased twice from 2x different online store. eBay (minimax.au) then The Galley St Kilda.

Excellent product and after sales service – We've had a set of stainless steel Per Vita for 6 years and they've been great. Despite daily use, they still look close to new and do what they should. We recently had an issue with the base of the skillet and it was replaced under the lifetime warranty with no problem. I wouldn't hesitate to buy again, though since these will probably last longer than me, I doubt we'll need to. Show details
Terrible product – I have had the Essteele 28cm frying pan for 4 months. The non stick coating of the 28cm frying pan has extensive bubbling around the base. The bubbles inflate when the pan is heated and fill with dishwater when pan is washed creating a very unhygienic surface. Very disappointing product and cost well over $100 with discount. Worth it – Super happy with the 5-peice set we purchased a few years back. Expect the copper to discolour early on (that's what copper does). If you know how to use a steel pan, it should give you decades of brilliant cooking (possibly a lifetime based on other reviews). We purchased on a deep discount at DJ's. For the quality, the price is great. Show details
Quality; Service; Inexpensive in the long run – We bought the set 28 years ago. Our children, for whom we used to cook baby food in the saucepans, use the same pans themselves now. We're all keen cooks, and these have been through a lot of use (and occasional misuse). Understandably, the handles were deteriorating after all this time, after much use and hundreds of cleans in the dishwasher. … Read more
And years ago, when the copper/stainless steel bottom of the small saucepan split, they replaced it without question. It was already over 15 years old.
So I wrote in this time about the handles on the remaining pans, wondering what could be done after so long. Once they looked at the photos I sent in, we were totally looked after. This demonstrated a true lifetime warranty.
Quite simply, with that longevity, and the quality, the cookware is not at all expensive over the long term. That's the way to think about it when making your initial purchase. Think about how many cheap rubbish pans you might get and replace over the decades otherwise (and not enjoy cooking with).
So if you care about your cooking, I believe you can't go wrong with Essteele.
Terrible pans – Spent more than $800 on a “nice” set as a wedding gift from my parents. It was supposed to be something to last us a lifetime and finally being able to throw out the old Kmart set. We looked for the nicest and best pans we could find. This was supposed to be it. Wow. What a disappointment. No matter what the temperature is in the pan. Everything… Read more
sticks. Everything, other than liquids. Potato, bacon, meatballs, you might as well make a mash. While they seem easy to clean, they stain like crazy. Every pan and pot was stained after first use. What started off as the best looking pans ever, was ruined after the first cook. The inside bottom because a cloudy steel surface, and the copper outside bottom showed immediate discolouration. I tried to contact David Jones for a refund but they are yet to get back to me. There is actually nothing I like about these pans anymore!
LOVE LOVE LOVE these! – Bought the 5 piece set including 3 saucepans, nonstick frypan and steamer about 6 months ago. Can’t say enough good things about these! Bought them for their heavy base and looks, sexiest cookware out there :) Cook evenly, clean easily - what more could you want? Show details

Too old to have any name except Esteele! – I have a small Esteele saucepan which was given to my mother about 1964. It has been in regular use ever since. It has even been boiled dry a number of times. 'Esteele' on the copper bottom is still legible, and it has no flaws or pitting. It is still my favourite pan. Why does your purchase date only go back to 1998?? Show details
Essteele Per Vita Open French Skillet 24cm – Bought this pan from Myer a month ago when it was on sale. it has a very beautiful design, very easy to use and clean. No food remains stuck to the pan. The bottom of the pan is in copper to assure a very good cooking distribution and also keeps the temperature. Great choice although a bit expensive. I did not give the 5 stars for the price. Quite surprised – I always jump on this site to warn others of disappointing products, so thought it was time to write a positive review. move a lot earlier. Although stainless is harder to cook on (only initially), it actually forces you to learn how to cook properly and the results far exceed that of non stick (you'll see). The thick base holds and transmits heat well and the steel handles mean they can also be used in the oven to finish off steaks etc. (just like restaurants do). I have no issues at all cleaning them and every now and then when there is a stain left on the cooking surface, it is easily removed with the Essteele cookware cleaner or Bar Keepers Friend. Only downside is the heavy weight of the large fry pan (obviously) and the fact the handle holds a little bit of water that usually ends up on me or the floor when moving them to the drying rack. I plan on drilling a hole right through the handle to prevent this as I'm not worried about ever having to use the warranty on these pans. I use these pans on a glass cooktop. Hint: keep a non stick pan for frying eggs.
Happy with 5 piece cookset but need special cleaner – I have been using my 5 piece cookset for about a month. After the first use or two, I found brown spots like other reviewers have reported. I also found that the copper band changed from orange to yellow. I got in touch with Essteele and they sent a bottle of the cleaner and this worked a treat. So I am really happy with them. use the cleaner every time though. My main reason for choosing stainless steel was health reasons (and cast iron is just too heavy for me) and longevity. They do feel like quality products (I bought them for $359 instead of $799 RRP!). The handles don't get hot. I especially like the steamer that fits nicely over the large saucepan. I also found that they are quicker to heat up than my previous cookware (Scanpan non stick pans) probably due to the thicker base.
Excellent Set of Saucepans – High polish allows easy cleaning Good heavy base ensures even cooking Love the solidly riveted handles. The only improvement I could suggest is that I prefer a glass lid, which isnt an option - so I bought some Scan Pan lids which fit nicely Show details
Irremovable stains after one use – I have bought a set which includes three pots, a small to medium size frying pan and a steaming basket. They are very heavy with a thick copper base. Cons: * After only one use, the bottom of… Read more
the largest pot had lots of rust and other ugly stains. I exchanged it once, twice, and after the second exchange I got sick of it and asked for a refund. I was given a part refund as the rest of the set did not have this particular problem. I bought a cheap Chinese stockpot with half of the refund and it has, and still is working brilliantly with no spots, pits, or stains, anywhere.
* The lips at the top are pointy and can cause a lot of damage if they land on your feet, can crack kitchen floor tiles.
* The handles have a hollow section and water gets trapped inside. The very heavy pots need to be tilted/shaken in a particular way to get rid of the water
* Rather expensive for what you get

Outside is still very shiny with a mirror like finish.
Milk pan has no lid, I only realized after reading inclusions in box twice. Each item is heavier than any other SS 18/10 cookware but not as heavy as our Le Creuset. Surprisingly cooks great tasting food.
Hope it lasts us for years. Overall satisfied.
Best saucepan. Wouldn't use anything else – I've had the stainless steel saucepan for over a year now, use it almost daily and it still looks brand new. There's nothing I can fault about it and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for quality stainless steel cookware. Show details
Annoyed with rust spots at first use – After first use I noticed 5 or more so random rust spots (inside the saucepan) and 1 spot even with a tiny black hole in one saucepan. I bought them and I wonder if its a batch of rejects Estelle is trying to get rid of. I will now be staying away from Estelle and looking else where.
2 of the pots rusted after first use – I bought a set of these pots 2 weeks ago plus one additional pot. The first two that I used had rust spots on the inside after washing them (dried right away). October 30th 2018 Update: Non-stick is definitely not life long, and they do not uphold their warranty!!!
I bought this product and expected it to last a lifetime like they claimed, but this was certainly not the case. Beyond this, they completely failed to live up to their lifetime warranty. I bought this pan because I was assured that the nonstick had a lifetime warranty and I'd had issues in the past of pans not lasting long. I've only had this a bit over a year and have been away for almost 6 months during that time. I went to claim my warranty since it's no longer non stick, but they said I'd miss used my pan! This absolutely out raged me as they cannot make that claim without proof, if not they could say it for every claim. I have followed the instructions for use and upkeep and have even taken extra precautions. I only used a silicone spafula (not even plastic) and a microfibre cloth on my pan. I cleaned it and hand dried it after every use and they are still putting it down to miss use. Absolutely outraged.
Love it – I love the saucepans (frypan alright I generally prefer nonstick) saucepans are awesome even heat I accidentally left the saucepan on simmer and had food burnt on the bottom and the copper had gone a funny colour just used bicarbonate soda to clean the inside and let the saucepan sit in vinegar and the copper colour came back.
