We took possession of our awesome Goldstar Van in January and took our first trip in July 2026. During the trip we had some minor issues (which appeared major to us). We contacted the Service Team for support and guidance, they were prompt with responses and information. On our return we booked the van into the Bullsbrook yard for warranty… Read more

repairs. The team listened to our concerns and rectified all issues without making us feel we were an inconvenience! When we collected the van, the staff went through each issue, explaining how it was rectified, all completed to a wonderful standard. We cannot recommend Goldstar Caravans, Sales & Service HIGHLY ENOUGH..... Outstanding ....... THANK YOU GOLDSTAR RV, we love our van.

I was after a toy hauler so I could carry bikes for myself and my 2 boys and take the family away. I went to 3-4 other brands first and then Goldstar RV popped up. The price was much cheaper than the rest so was hesitant. They were based in Perth so I thought I better take a look. I arrived at the yard and met Jacob. Great guy. The other caravan… Read more

salesmen I had met put me off in about 2 minutes with there BS. Jacob was great and straight to the point. After organising what extras I wanted it came in $10k less than the previous one I was nearly sold on. Luckily I didn’t go with that one as they just went in to administration! About 6 weeks later picked the van up and couldn’t be happier. Everything was as I was hoping and would definitely recommend over some of the more expensive brands. Great after sales service too. Thanks Jacob and Maria!

GOLDSTAR 2021 liberty tourer with double bunks. 62,490k – $6000 deposit given 30th Aug 2021. Received my 2021 family liberty tourer ($60k) on 11th March 2022. I was told it would take 4-6 weeks as i picked one already mostly built. had a very very bad experience dealing with Goldstar sales. At last the Caravan arrived at the depot south of Brisbane. It looked great. However I had no instructions at all… Read more

and struggled to even unlock the front door. it was missing the gas bottles. I was later told to go buy my own and Goldstar would reimburse me ( they did). The caravan was just like the photos and I was very pleased with the appearance inside and out. I found deep scratches in the boot tunnel and was later told Goldstar were not going to do anything and wondered what I was wanting from them? was later told a replacement would be sent to me for the liner ( never was). Had to ask for instructional videos even though I had been promised personal online walk through. None of the videos matched my model. On the first night away I tried to fill the Water tanks and water was leaking under the caravan, broken pipes and hoses. Queen bed was rock hard couldn't sleep. The awning was not attached at one end and leaked when rained. I contacted Goldstar. Its been 12 days and Have had no support or assistance. 19th may 2022 was finally contacted from Goldstar and asked to provide quotes for the repairs and Goldstar would cover the cost upon their approval. I have had additional issues with freezer not working, and more unmentioned things that need to be repaired under warranty. nothing major. So i have sent multiple emails including a quote from a professional caravan repairer to Goldstar and have heard nothing back other than Goldstar will look into it?. update 7th June. I finally had the repair quote approved for $660. I paid the repairer myself and was reimbursed the $660 after a few phone calls and emails. UPDATE 24TH JAN 2023. I have found paint is now perishing on the composite finish at the front of my van, the freezer is still not working ( or replaced) and the mirror lighting in the bathroom is not functional. I am trying to be patient with Goldstar to get these things repaired through 3rd party quote approvals. Each time I have to take my caravan for a quote I have to take time off work. They have denied the first paint repair quote to remove full panel and respray then re install. . As Goldstar want cladding to go over the paint not the paint resprayed. the company refused to quote such a repair as they said that is not how to fix the paint issue. When i had the van road worthy tested for the QLD rego transfer, holes were found behind the a frame on the structure and Goldstar would not help and i had to pay to have panels laid over it. In addition one of the brakes had been installed backwards causing the wheel to not turn smoothly ( how it passed the initial road worthy is SA baffles me) , I did quite a few trips like this before it got fixed after the road worthy. Goldstar reimbursed me only for the brake repair $325 . 20th march 2023. Goldstar have rejected the second quote to repair the paint issue going on 6 months since first reported the paint issue the company also said that placing cladding over the affected area is not how you fix the paint issue and refused to quote that type of fix.. Goldstar said they will look into and let me know I have had no reply from Goldstar. Still have a faulty fridge/freezer after one year. UPDATE 27th JUNE 2023 , still no word from Goldstar concerning the rectification of the paint peeling of the composite. I have noticed after just one year the Goldstar stickers are coming off also on the rear of the caravan looks awful. I keep the caravan covered, The exterior handle has paint peeling off too. I had to respray the A-frame as the paint had peeled off and was rusting. .I contacted ACC and QLD fair trading as I wasn't hearing anything back from Goldstar., within 24 hours of fair trading getting involved Goldstar have immediately reached out to me with the offer to repair the paint but only a respray of the area not the whole panel also have booked in a fridge guy to quote a repair. If the paint repair is obvious it will de-value my caravan . I'm starting to regret this purchase now. Also they sent the wrong mirror ( just a plain basic mirror) instead of the one with the touch sensor and lighting feature. for a repair quote , I am waiting for Goldstar to send the correct mirror. We also never used the stove until our last trip ( just after the 12 month warranty) and the cooling fans must hit something as the noise is so loud we cant use it. sigh.

We loved the entire experience of dealing with Goldstar RV Caravans. never pressured. Most importantly we are so pleased at the quality and fitout of our van. We brought it home on a Thursday and were out on our first trip on the Friday. It towed well, set up brilliantly and was super comfortable with masses of storage space. We could not recommend Golsdstar more highly and absolutely exciting and pain-free experience.

We needed to downsize our caravan as we start our new journey of "Empty nesters". We looked around for a few years. Umming and erring on whether to go new or second-hand. We knew what we wanted, the single axle, an ensuite with a separate toilet &… Read more

shower, washing machine (optional) full size, rear door and an ATM under 3T. Voila, the Goldstar 17.6ft Liberty Tourer fitted our description.

Jacob and sales team were great (WA). They entertained us well. Jacob, although busy, took the time to attend to all our queries. We did not get much of a hand over as there was a bush fire headed in our direction and the alert was given to evacuate. Living about 2 hours from the Goldstar yard, I was not about to come back another day. "We'll figure out how to use this van". Before towing the van away, Jacob stressed to retorque the wheel nuts after X number of kilometres. The after sales care was good as well. Jacob and the staff over in SA were quick to respond to all my queries. Well done to the staff at Goldstar. I have read a lot of reviews about other dealers not being helpful with after sales care.

I found a clip on Youtube where a car had hit a Goldstar caravan in the front corner and barely damaged the van. Caravans are known to just about disintegrate upon collation. But this Goldstar put a pretty good impression on me for durability.

Towing & parking was a breeze with this smaller van. Our vehicle used a lot less fuel compared to the dual axle van. Our new van was comfortable and we feel it is the right size for the two of us. Interior lighting is literally brilliant. Super bright! Great for our aging eyesight. We love the size of the fridge/freezer and it worked efficiently compared to a 3-way fridge/freezer. Although we are quite happy with this van, we did face a few minor issues. Hence the 4-star rating.

Vertically challenged people may find the microwave a bit high for use. NB: all we added is a sway controller, 2X fans and a DC/DC charger. Not a great deal of extra weight. But the tare is heavier than what is stamped on the VIN plate. The ball weight is on the high side when both water tanks are full. We need to be creative when we load this van. The single axle behaves like a seesaw. The Alko rubber suspension is at its max rating of 2500kg as this van has an ATM of 2500kg. Unfortunately, unlike coil suspension, the torsion rubber suspension cannot be upgraded as Alko does not offer any upgrades for rubber torsion.

Follow-up  · The minor issues - the van is approximately 124kg over its stated tare weight. Note: i have deducted 36kg from 2X full gas bottles and 20kg from 1X water tank with about 1/4 tank of water (according to the gauge) for a 70-litre tank. The warranty claim - I have to follow up. There has been no reply since lodging the claim. The microwave height - I am 5'10" and I need to be on my tipppy toes to look inside the microwave.

We recently took delivery of our custom Goldstar caravan, and overall we're happy with the finished product. One of the main reasons we chose Goldstar was the ability to customise the van to our requirements at a price that was difficult to match. The caravan itself has turned out well, and the after-sales service has been responsive whenever… Read more

we've raised warranty items.

That said, the build process wasn't without its challenges. Communication could be improved, and we found that we needed to follow up regularly to keep things moving and ensure our agreed customisations were carried through. There were also a few items that required attention after handover, which the service team has been willing to address.

If you're considering Goldstar, my advice is to stay actively involved throughout the build, keep records of your agreed customisations, and follow up regularly. In our experience, doing so helped ensure we achieved the outcome we were looking for.

Overall, we're happy with our caravan and appreciate the value for money and the willingness to customise, which is why we've given 4 stars.

Recently had our first trip away in our new Goldstar, had two small issues to attend to both in the shower. The drain cover was loose and the fan worked but then stopped. drop the van off on that date with instructions on where to go and who to see. Went in as Planned, had interaction with 4 staff members while there, all very courteous, polite and helpful. Service manager decided it wasn't worth leaving it there so he would attend to the issues straight away! He also checked out my spare wheel carriers as some people are claiming they are having problems.... no issue with mine. Very happy with how everything went, they could not have been more helpful, clear communication and fixed what needed to be done. Considering its a factory and they would have very little interaction with customers the team over there were great. Told them thank you and hopefully they will never see me again!!!!!!

Was so excited to buy our first ever caravan 19.4ft Maverick 2023 model in WA so we can travel around Australia but we ended up at our property in Far North Queensland We had some minor hiccups with communication and safety issues from the dealer in WA but hubby rectified that and fixed the problem plus we had to wait for a number plate that… Read more

hadn’t been fixed to be sent from SA to WA which we couldn’t understand why it wasn’t already registered in WA Only had the caravan nearly 2 months now and found some things wrong with the inside of van that hadn’t been fixed When it was time to go pick the van up after being told it was going to take 5 weeks to fix and get it up to scratch as it wasn’t a brand new van and paid the same price we were there for nearly 5 hrs waiting to take the van home and still they were fixing things on it Poor work ethic on their behalf in Bullsbrook WA Rang Goldstar in SA and told them that the faucet in the shower has a crack through the middle so they sent me out a new one to replace The led light stripping is coming away from where it’s placed but that’s minor and we can fix that Now we are in Qld we have to go through the process of getting a gas certificate a roadworthy certificate and a HVRAS due to their laws here in Qld The only other problem is that we have to upgrade the solar system as it isn’t enough to get us through one night due to them being a 100 wattage each but in all honesty the van is quaint next van we will get will be a bit bigger as it does get a bit tight in some places

German Shepperd, (think I should have got a bigger van he takes up a lot of room) Spent 3 days in Adelaide, down on the beach. Air con. a bit noisy? moved on to Vic. still towing like a dream. Can not say the same about my SsangYong Musso (18-19.5LT per hun) now sitting in Whittlesea waiting to see when it will stop raining and fuel price to drop??? lucky the van is keeping us comfy.

I still haven't worked out the hot water, first time I used it it was only luke warm, toed for Kalgoorlie to the great ocean road to Whittlesea to Wonthaggi to Yass to Orange to Broken Hill. next few days will be going back to Kal. 4420km so far 2300 to go. very bad hole on the wall by the main bed. It’s taken 5 months to finally get the this sorted out to our satisfaction. After much drama and extremely bad slow after sales service we finally had to offer to pay for half of the window to get rid of the hole in the wall . So we finally have a window. We were told to pick it up yesterday . It was filthy covered in a white layer of wall dust from cutting the hole for the window. They didn’t even try and clean anything . I think it’s really terrible that they even thought they could hand the van back in that condition . They are terrible to deal with . I can’t recommend them at all because of the after sales service .
