Work was done for a few scratches on a 2018 kia stinger gt, midnight purple. Rey was very quick to respond, and his work was immaculate. Fair pricing too. Will be going back to him should my car or motorcycle need some work!

time. While not outright rude, he was far from professional—unenthusiastic and not particularly pleasant to deal with.

The job took only a few hours, after which I was called to inspect the results. It was immediately clear that no proper preparation had been done. Dirt was visibly trapped beneath the clear coat across the entire rear bumper, even though the repair was supposed to be confined to a small section on the driver’s side.

I arranged for the technician to return and rectify the issue. However, I received no communication following the agreed appointment date. After chasing it up with Jim’s head office, I was told the technician had been removed from the franchise under their "three strikes and you're out" policy. This information only came to light after a week of silence after the scheduled appointment, suggesting they were unaware or uninterested in following up on the failed repair.

To their credit, the best part of this entire experience was the customer service team. They were helpful, polite, and genuinely tried to resolve the situation. One representative promptly arranged for a new technician to assess and remediate the issue. This second technician seemed more competent and completed the job at a later appointment, which initially looked decent under the shaded lighting of my carport.

However, once I moved the car into natural light, it became glaringly obvious that the entire rear bumper no longer matched the rest of the car. The difference was stark, particularly under sunlight, and the new paint completely failed to blend with the surrounding panels—something especially important with pearl-type paints.

When I contacted both the technician and the area manager, I was told the mismatch was due to prior work on the car and that Jim’s was not responsible for ensuring the colour match. For the record, the bumper matched perfectly before their repair, and any professional respray should have involved blending to adjacent panels—especially with pearl paint. This was simply not done.

I again reached out to customer service, who kindly provided direct contact details for Jim himself. His response echoed the area manager's stance: that the result was “acceptable” and that Jim’s bore no responsibility for the mismatch. I strongly disagreed.

I subsequently took the car to a reputable collision repair specialist. Without prompting, they immediately noticed the poor workmanship and were shocked someone had signed off on the job. They advised me to pursue compensation, as the quality of the paintwork was clearly substandard.

In the end, I paid nearly four times Jim’s original quote to have the bumper properly resprayed and blended by professionals. The result was flawless—what I had expected from the beginning. This was so unnecessary and cost far more than it should have for the small bit of original damage. The entire situation could have been avoided if due care had been taken during the engagement.

This entire experience was incredibly frustrating, time-consuming, and expensive. Aside from the excellent customer service team, everything else was very disappointing. If you care about your car, you are far better off going directly to a professional panel shop and avoiding this mess altogether. Buyer beware.

that they are unable to make it and the soonest the can reschedule is for the 22/07(a month later from my initial call). This is unacceptable and unprofessional, if you had some sort of emergency I atleast expect not only a call, but the decency to fit me in ASAP at your own inconvenience not mine. I do not recommend Naomi Campbell, and I wish that I went with someone more professional even if they were more expensive.

Mason did a fabulous job--he was efficient, friendly and professional. I was extremely pleased with the job and from initial request for a quote to end of job everything went as stated.
