excellent and it arrived very quickly after I placed my order. It was quite easy to set up and there was online help that I utilised when I got stuck on setting up the password. The watch is similar in size to an Apple Watch and my son loves the style. He also loves changing the faces. He enjoys keeping track of his step count each day too. The touch screen is responsive and the app is easy to use. It does everything I need it to do such as keeping track of my son’s location and being able to call or text each other. In my opinion it is much better than the last kids smart watch we had been using for several years. I used to have to encourage my son to wear the last one. He loves wearing the KidsOClock and the battery lasts longer than the last watch too. I am extremely happy with KidsOClock watch and so is my son.

neat "location" function. We're also happy that he is managing the process to keep the watch regularly charged. All in all the purchase and registering process went smoothly for us even though we wouldn't describe ourselves as "tech-savvy". We're sure there are some new features we may discover, but we mainly wanted to ensure both Ben and we could get the basics right to start. We do like the location feature although wonder if we're doing the best process of always needing to let the watch/app take a full minute to identify position ... maybe there's a smarter way, we'll explore more maybe. Pros: Really easy setup, parents control everything via the app on their phone. I have set up the School hours lock easily so she is not distracted by the watch during school The location feature is accurate and really easy to use Battery life is good, lasts easily for over 24 hours before needing to charge. My daughter loves the AI features, without it being too excessive for my liking, Size of the watch is great, my daughter has tiny wrists and has no problems wearing it all day Excellent service from the company. They sent me the wrong watch strap and promptly sent me the correct one once I notified them,

Cons: AI feature often mishears her when she uses the voice controls. Unique charger head that I haven't seen in stores, so I recommended getting a second one

Great purchase, we've been using it daily! Had a bit of a hiccup when setting it up, but once we updated the app and watch version, everything was running smoothly with no major issues so far. Love the classroom mode, I can set it up so that her watch is locked during class. My daughter loves the fact that she can contact me during playdates as well.

These are terrible quality watches in our experience. My son's first GL30 suffered water damage by getting water on while washing his hands, despite the advertised IP67 rating. When contested on this they claimed this was only a rating under laboratory conditions with still water and can't be applied to real life. These watches are clearly no good… Read more

for kids to have in that situation. We then got a slightly discounted GL50, this one has had a software issue less than two months out from the 12 month warranty period and will no longer start up. Kidsoclock now refuse to repair or replace it. The watches are ok while they work (GPS location often takes time to locate the child, generally clunky software/app) but we will not be purchasing them any more. I'd rather spend money on a better quality watch like a Garmin Bounce or Apple watch SE and have dependable hardware and a better app/software experience.

could buy a replacement at my own cost. Given this is a major product fault, while acknowledging its outside of their warranty, they have failed in their obligations under ACL. They are now refusing to even respond to my emails.

I have since made a complaint to ACCC and will also be raising a case with QCAT.

The product itself was great when it works, other than the battery which lasted about a day. However I would absolutely stay away from them because once outside of the warranty period, even for a day it seems, they will not help you and hide behind their claim of 'outside the warranty period'

My son got the GL50 for Christmas 2024,but lasted just 1year and 6 months.It got water damaged from rain even though it's a water-resistant watch. This is our second kidsoclock watch that has been broken. This one it's not replaced by guarantee. Otherwise it's a good watch while it lasted,suits it's purpose,but I'm not buying anymore from this brand.

I got KidsOClock GL50 Genius is an amazing watch it is absolutely perfect. Now it is so easy to contact my daughter before and after school. Now have two of these.. one each for my tweens. They catch the bus and go to school in another town so I love the notification that they've arrived in the school zone. We bought the GL50 watch for my daughter. She is loving it and finding the apps easy to use. It's a great size and the voice calls come through very clear.
