Kmart Reversible Padded Play & Floor Mat

Skin rashes – I don’t know what kind of chemicals are use that are ACTUALLY safe for babies or kids skin in general. But know I have found the cause of my sons rash today. He is only 4 months old still learning to roll over now. We were playing on the mat doing tummy time. He’s trying to roll and use his neck and face to roll over to start learning. Any way. All of a sudden his face is bright red with bubbled dots all over. I’ve had to take him to the doctors over and over again because we couldn’t figure it out. He’s been on steroids the poor thing because the doctor thought it was eczema. Which I found weird as it doesn’t run in the family whatsoever ever. But we had to for out over 100 dollars for the medication. Money that I can’t afford in the first place I’m so mad and upset that my little man’s face is like This. I’m going to be cutting up this play mat and chucking it Out. 40$ down the drain.

Get what you pay for I guess – Product has 4.5 stars on Kmart website. Not quite sure how accurate that is as you can’t leave a review on Kmarts website. Good sized mat, good cushioning for Bub to play on, easy to clean as you can just wipe it off (Kmarts website says you can’t clean it though..) however I have only had this mat for a month or two and the top layer has started to peel and lift. It is double sided so I will be able to flip it when it gets too bad but I would expect a product to be able to last a lot longer..
