Death Certificate – I've already written a review, but forgot to mention, the slow process of sending the death certificate. My husband passed on 3rd November 2024, and we are still waiting for the DC.

Sensitive and Professional in Every Way – Would like to commend Eltham Le Pine Funerals for the beautiful service they provided for my father. They closely attended to our requests and were intuitive in guiding us through this difficult time, assisting us to consider details we would not have even thought of. An excellent team. Very poor service – Had an awful experience with Jo from this office. My Father died, we made an appointment with her to come to our family home. She turned up at my Brother’s house an hour away from where she was supposed to be (we had confirmed the location with her the previous evening). responsibility for her error and my sister in law, who luckily was there, could tell - as Jo called her office - that she did not want to come to the correct location but was told to do so by (we assume) her supervisor. She eventually turned up at our house with no apology at all. She then went straight into a pitch along the lines of “Now, first thing I need to tell you is nothing can happen until the Coroner has finished their work…” and that she “did not have a case number” I was aware the Coroner had finished their work 3 days prior and that the case number had been provided to her employer 5 days ago. She responded with a “Well, I don’t have it”. Refusing to accept that it was her responsibility to gather all the relevant information about the assignment before she met with us. At this point I was very unhappy and told Jo as such. She had the most awful, awful manner about her and I decided we could not work with her. She is simply terrible at her job, or at least she very much was on this particular day. Perhaps unhappy that she had to drive to where she was supposed to be in traffic? Absolutely her mistake, not our’s. Whatever the reason, she completely lacked any empathy or professionalism. Her attitude, both at my sister in law’s home and our home, was rubbish. We asked her to leave and we got back in touch with someone else at Le Pine. We ended up working with Myf from Glen Waverley office and had the service at their Ferntree Gully. Everyone else we dealt with at Le Pine, especially Myf, were terrific and we thanked them for their kind and professional service. As for Jo, I would strongly advise anyone considering using her as a Funeral Arranger, seek the services of somebody else.

quite poor and unprofessional service from a funeral arranger called Jo from Lillydale office (see separate review). Fortunately, Myf and the people she worked with for our assignment was at the other end of the spectrum. Would highly recommend.
