Luba 2 awd mini 800... ours go well but haven't done the may26 update which many user an are complaining about. Mammotion is China based so service it's bit of a gamble, purchasing though a Australian physical store helps with service and warranty issues but I think does not cover software issues

I bought the Luba robot lawnmower from Robomate in Newmarket, expecting it to make life easier, but it has been nothing but frustrating. Based on the notifications alone, the robot has problems almost every single day. It constantly fails to return to the charging station — sometimes it “can’t find the channel,” sometimes it refuses to go up the ramp, and other times it slips or falls off the ramp completely. Yesterday, it stopped because a garden hose was on the pathway. I am sick of carrying the machine back to the charger over and over again, which defeats the whole purpose of having a robot mower.

I also don’t receive any notifications on my phone when it gets stuck, so the mower sits there until the battery is completely dead. This has happened multiple times, and it’s extremely inconvenient.

Here are just some of the repeated errors I’ve been getting: - Front wheels lifted or tilted (1030) - Channel obstructed (1214) even though the path is completely clear - Low battery (1005) because it stops somewhere and never makes it home

For a machine at this price ($3199), it should work reliably. Instead, it stops its job almost every day and requires manual rescue. I am extremely disappointed with the performance and reliability. I hope the company seriously improves the hardware and software, because right now it’s not worth the money. Certainly,y you wouldn't want to go on holiday expecting your lawns to be reliably mowed in your absence.

The only reason it gets a rating of 2.5 rather than 1 is that the Robomate staff were very helpful with suggestions on how to overcome these issues.

Researched the options as much as possible on line and from YouTube and came to the decision that this model suited my needs in respect of size and type of lawn. I have just under 140M2 in 3 areas, the front yard and 2 footpath areas - each side of the driveway. The area is basically flat with some elevation of the lawn along the driveway and path edges. This machine is brilliant for the task, cutting as low as 20 mm and easily follows the pathways set between each area. You can start cutting 1,2 or all 3 areas as you want or on a schedule basis using a very simple and intuitive app. It comes with a charging dock and you can add a roof protector if you want but it is suited to be in the weather. I have mine out of the way on the front porch which protects from sun and rain.
