get an upgrade. The queen has been nothing short of perfect for me. 100% recommend. And it was so easy to setup! Shipped in less than a week too! I find this mattress to be so much better than a traditional spring mattress as well, it is a lot easier to manoeuvre when changing sheets and making the bed, and the whole thing is equally supportive across the whole bed, no hard spots where the springs would have otherwise been. I know the price point is a little high, I think I paid about 700? But the quality is well worthit and besides, it’s a perchance you will only have to make once, these beds are so durable!

Support responses so far have been generic rather than addressing the specific issue raised. I purchased the Onebed Essential mattress in January, specifically because I needed proper support for my back and neck and to avoid major sinking, due to a health condition. Within a few months it had already changed from feeling too firm to developing a significant support problem: the area where I actually sleep sinks noticeably more than the rest of the mattress, while the edges (which barely get used) remain firm. I only weigh around 68kg, so this isn't a case of exceeding a weight limit — this is a fairly narrow, localised loss of support in one zone.
For comparison, my previous mattress was cheaper and lasted 4 years, and even in its final year of use it still gave better, more even support than this one does at 6 months old. I raised this issue with support in July. I offered specific details and possible solutions, and was willing to provide medical documentation of how this was affecting me. Instead of a real assessment of the issue, I was given generic responses about "normal wear and tear" that didn't reflect what I'd actually described, and told the return window had passed. No one addressed the specific, localised nature of the fault, and no meaningful solution was offered.
I have health conditions that mean poor back and neck support directly worsens my pain and joint issues, which in turn worsens my symptoms and my overall health. I made that clear from the start. Rather than working with me to find a fair resolution, the process has been slow, repetitive, and has left the core issue unresolved.
If you're considering this mattress, especially if you have any back or joint condition, I'd think carefully — and be aware that if something does go wrong, resolving it with support may not be straightforward. I've seen plenty of good reviews for this mattress, so it's possible I've just been unlucky with this particular one, but the way the issue was handled afterwards was the bigger problem for me. I understand that this is a budget mattress and may not be suitable but I did not expect this issue within 6 months (issue appeared earlier but I could not contact due to health issues)

helpful when you have a little 3 year old that likes to play twister in her sleep, I no longer wake her up from moving around and she no longer wakes me up, we are all getting a full night's sleep now for the first time in years. We haven't had the mattress for too long maybe coming up to 3 months but it's very sturdy and hasn't sagged and I feel like it will last quite a few years to come. It's also an added bonus that it costs only a fraction of the price of other mattress brands that claim to do the same thing. My family loves this mattress and we are glad we are all getting a peaceful and solid nights sleep without waking up with back issues.

So now it's back to the drawing board top try and locate a mattress that is not greater than 8". which is for the beds we have the max size. Everyone now does 10"!! More than disappointed... bloody annoyed - what is it that say whenever you find something that works after months of searching it doesn't last. However the occasional guest has said it's too firm and that's been enough to affect our rating. We have used Onebed mattresses elsewhere and decided to do the same here. So we have put two Onebed mattresses on both queen beds and... Happy days. Guests are very pleased. Order arrived quickly and easy to set up.

Owning a Onebed now for 2 years it does have a negative condition to its use. A necessity to rotate the mattress (not turn it over) but rotate bedhead end to the other end, repeat the rotation each 6 - 8 weeks due to the mattress "settling" where your body lays. A low section develops at the slept point I recommend One bed for a guest bedroom and spring mattress for sustained use.

wasn't satisfied with the mattress then I should spend another $200 on a mattress topper to make it softer. The mattress topper doesn't do much at all. Am sick of dealing with this company now. I spent far too much for a rock hard mattress, then was told to spend more money for a matress topper which slips and slides everywhere, doesn't stay in place like I was told it would, and doesn't make much difference to the firmness. I’ve loved the onebed experience from purchase to use. It’s been so easy to handle, especially as a single person moving house - I was able to do everything myself.
