I wouldn’t buy this again. The distortion is too bass-heavy and muddy, and the clean tones lack any sparkle—even with a Strat, I can't get a glassy tone. Save your money and get a Marshall DSL1 for a proper sound. I'd love to return this product and get my money back.

I have owned the original Spark Guitar Amp since they were released several years ago so when the spark 2 amp was released I had to have the latest model. In short it has the ability to store 8 of your favourite tones built by you or downloaded from the Spark app which has over 10,000 tones to chose from. The app makes it a great fun amp or learning tool. The spark 2 has better speakers angled outwards and processing capabilities along with a tuner and looper. I am keeping both amps as they are both amazing.
Follow-up · I have been around music all of my life initially taking piano and synthesiser/electronic keyboard from an early age moving to drums in my teenage years and taking up the guitar later on in life. I am an intermediate guitar player I have several top quality tube amps and no less than 50 guitar effects stomp boxes valued at tens of thousands of dollars. I also have collected some 9 top shelf electric guitars. The Spark one and now the Spark two amps have taken the place for all of my home studio work now. I kept the spark one as a back up and use the spark two regularly. The Spark amp one had a bad booming bass issue, the separation and angling the speakers in the Spark two amp seems to have lessened this problem and mids and highs are a lot cleaner. The lopper is extremely good you would easily pay $350 for a top quality looper stomp boxes. The inbuilt looper is highly valued. So you’re saving a lot of cash there. I play Gary Moore tones, as well as David Gilmore, Brian May and blues, rock songs. The tone cloud is immensely powerful though I prefer to make up my own tones and share them for others to enjoy on the tone cloud. For the monetary outlay I think you cannot go past this Spark 2 amp especially for home use, recording or just jamming with. It has an inbuilt tuner and drummers that will follow your lead. I do use it via Bluetooth on my Apple IPad Tablet which makes a huge difference to its ease of use. To put it simply the Spark App two is amazing. I'm loving this amp! The app is super easy to use and having thousands of combos (virtual Amps and Effects Pedals) it has pushed me to experiment with sounds. Bonus inclusion is the looper function.
