Verdict
Overall, consumer sentiment towards Shares in Value is overwhelmingly positive, with many subscribers praising the depth of the research, the educational value of the webinars, and the supportive customer service provided by the team. While a small subset of reviews notes instances of unhelpful recommendations or unfulfilled follow-ups, the vast majority of clients feel well-guided and report strong portfolio growth. Prospective users should evaluate their own risk tolerance and investment goals, but overall, the service is viewed as a reliable and informative tool for retail investors.
So I downloaded one of their reports as I was new to the market and had absolutely no idea where to put my money. I received some calls from SIV as I put my phone number in to get the report. I was dismissive to the calls but eventually agreed to a walk through of their website. This is an honest review..I did feel pressured to sign with them… Read more · 1
during this walk through. I eventually agreed after the consultant on the phone stated he would give me their latest recommendations if I signed up. So I agreed for a 12 month membership. Approximately 2k for 12 months advice which was tax deductible. What the hell.. Most of their recommendations have done well with the exceptions of a minority. But thats trading i guess. What did happen for me was that one of their recommendations was 4DX. I knew nothing of this stock but threw some money at it. WOW.. this has been an absolute gift that keeps on giving. I've made 10s of thousands of dollars profit so far with so much more potential. I am so grateful I took the chance with SIV otherwise I would still be sitting on the blue chip stocks averaging 10% if I was lucky.

Great suggestion re stocks and prompt service I would recommend them for both experienced and less experienced investors
SIV (Shares In Value) provide sound advice based on their strong research of company performances and the fundamentals on the share market. Also, SIV provide fortnightly webinars, weekly updates on what's happening globally and daily briefs about shares to buy, hold or sell. stage due to bad advice from our previous advisor. However with SIV our portfolio is now up 35.8% overall which is good considering how volatile the market is currently. e.g. a couple of days ago, I bought 4DX (4D Medical Ltd) and it went up 72% in 2 days, purely based on the fundamentals SIV provided.
There is a lot of information to absorb, but you can choose your own priorities - high risk returns, dividend income stocks . . . I have achieved a 25% ROR on invested funds in just 4 months using Shares In Value information alerts.
Single Mum View – I originally invested $500 as a single parent that’s all I could afford. I have since doubled my money with abit extra over about 6-7 months. This was based on share advice by shares in value. You initially pay quite a bit to join, but you get reports and access to webinars and ongoing support and they are consistent and the shares do what they… Read more

I only wish I had more money to invest.
I would recommend this company to others as even if you don’t follow constantly, the shares I have invested in have performed well.
I use superhero to invest but use the recommendation of shares in value. I have attached a pic below of my shares performance since OCT last year when I started.
Hope this helps anyone considering starting out.
An independent research house focused on solo investors – I have been trading and investing on the ASX market by myself for the past 2.5 years. A cycling mate alerted me to Shares in Value, and I subscribed in May 2022. I am a lot more confident in my share decisions now, and can also chat to discuss my own ideas. Very happy and look forward to improving my investing decisions. The reports are easy… Read more
to read, and the alerts are very very helpful. The fortnightly online seminar has also been useful and includes new ideas, discussions, stock information and the macro factors impacting the market. Finally, Shares in Value has proven to be independent and providing advice in the best interests of the small investor.

I was investing on my own with a hit and miss result. With Shares In Value I read their reports and listen to the webinars. These give me value stocks to consider saving me time and giving me more confidence. Its especially valuable to have the… Read more
Hold or Sell recommendations as well. I have achieved far more and increased my portfolio's value. I highly recommend Shares in Value.
Follow-up · I continue to be impressed with the quality of the research and communication provided by Shares in Value so much that I renewed my subscription for 5 years. I have had many phone calls to and from the advisors and continue to say that my investing would not be nearly as successful if I was doing it on my own. Highly recommend the company. Their fortnightly webinars are extremely valuable, I wouldn't miss them.
Shares in Value. Highly reccomend.Shares in Value Very supportive and very knowledgeable. Show reply
Follow-up · Great support, shares they advised all going very well, Thank you five out of five stars.. Caz
Save your money – These guys have absolutely no idea about investing. They take a [Content Removed] view. I regret spending any money on such poor advice and even worse communication.
Follow-up · Fees excessive unless you think [Content Removed] isn't much. Communication is ok except when I asked them to document their returns using their recommendations. Crickets. Advice was to [Content Removed] on speculative stocks. Nothing has changed my mind since my initial review. Buy a book by Colin Nicholson called Building Wealth in the Stock… Read more

I have been investing in shares for more than 30 years and have built up a sizeable investment portfolio. Over the years, I have experienced many market cycles, but today’s investment environment is becoming increasingly complex, with global conflicts, US-led tariffs, inflation, energy supply concerns, and the rapid rise of artificial intelligence… Read more
all contributing to market volatility. As a result, I decided to take a more active role in managing my investments. Although I already have a share broker and financial adviser, I wanted access to an independent source of investment research and advice. Although I already have a share broker and financial adviser, I wanted access to an independent source of investment research and advice. After spending more than a year reviewing information from a number of share advisory companies, I chose to join Shares in Value because of its research-driven approach and the opportunity to work directly with a dedicated Account Manager. After attending one of their free webinars, I contacted the company on 30 June and was introduced to my Account Manager, Ms Victoria Garth. Although I have been a member for less than two weeks, I have been genuinely impressed by the exceptional service Victoria has provided. From the very beginning, she has been proactive, professional, responsive, and incredibly supportive. She has taken the time to call and email me, ensuring that I receive the analysts’ reports promptly and helping me understand their insights and recommendations. It is rare to receive such a high level of personal service these days. I feel very fortunate to have Victoria as my Account Manager at Shares in Value and sincerely appreciate her dedication and commitment to helping members. I look forward to working with Victoria and the Shares in Value team for many years to come. Timothy Liauw
Having been with SIV for 2 years now, we are still VERY HAPPY with their service and guidance. The webinars for us are as valuable as the tips for shares to buy and sell. While not all suggestions reach the expected returns, overall our portfolio has grown well beyond our expectations. Their webinars give more in depth details on which shares… Read more
are expected to do well and why, however, they are ALWAYS very educational giving us ideas & strategies on what to look for in a business we are interested in.
For us that education gives us easy to understand strategies allowing us to make decisions that fit our personal goals. We have recently, without hesitation invested in SIV's new US stocks subscription, as we believe that SIV do their due diligence, and wouldn't be providing this additional service without being sure it is worth pursuing.
As part of investing in the US market, I needed to sell some of my ASX stocks. I took advantage, of the additional portfolio review that was part of my package. My goal was to identify stocks that may not have the same growth potential as the US market. Roger (who also regularly does the Webinar) went through my portfolio with suggestions of which stocks I could consider selling and why. He patiently listened to MY rationale, and was happy to answer all my questions.
All in all my husband and I feel Shares in Value is a trust worthy company that cares about their clients. The key is to be patient and evaluate yourself their suggestions, taking into account your own personal goals.
I have been a member with Shares in Value for a few years now. Prior to working with Shares in Value, I would have considered myself an investor who bought the right companies, but at the wrong time. My biggest issue working against me was 'time'. My demanding workload meant I simply didn't have the time to do hours of research or keep up to date… Read more
with market trends. This ultimately led me to begin losing capital.
What I have found with SIV is how much time they actually save me. Their research across various sectors is thorough but the reports are also simple to read. Even if I do have some further questions about companies, I have the ability to call in and talk to the team, which is of great use to someone like myself. Aside from the actual recommendations, their webinars have also been of great value. Whether companies go up or down you won't be left in the dark and their analysis of various market trends or sector performances is outlined clearly. This leads me to my next point.
More than a year ago, SIV began talking about the gold sector in particular. At the time, I hadn't seen this being mentioned elsewhere. Following their advice, I began to reposition my portfolio into some of their gold picks and all I can say is I am extremely happy with the returns. Each company I have purchased has done excess of 80% growth, and in some cases more than 200%.
For someone like myself who is busy and doesnt want to waste time making the same mistakes over and over, Shares in Value has been a huge help. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for clear and reliable guidance.

Positive reviews
Great service, very informative text and email recommendations, we’ve had fantastic results with a lot of their recommended shares. And they are always available for a personal chat if you have any questions. Highly recommend joining. We are well in front with our investments.
The team at Shares in Value have been helpful constructive and friendly to deal with touching base regularly and suggesting how to improve my portfolio and always coming up with new shares to watch. Without shares in value, I probably would have blown my cash, as it stands, I have a growing portfolio.
Shares in Value provides detailed accurate research on stocks that others don't cover. They are able to recommend the right stock at the right time which often leads to very strong share price gains. Other services I have tried do not get both these aspects right .
Negative reviews
Stay away from this company! It’s a very dodgy company. They send out a report on a new company every second day, ask you to buy, but there is no follow up. I chose several companies, all backed by SIV (High conviction Investments), and lost a fortune! When I registered, they said they would assign me an account manager. Two years later, I… Read more
finally received a call. The woman said she could help me if I sent her the details of my portfolio. I sent it, but then nothing happened. I even forwarded the email to info@sh…, still no reply. You spend thousands for the fee and get nothing in return. With a gambling company, you win some, you lose more. With the shares in value, you win nothing, you only lose more!
Horrible recommendations and 100% regret signing up. My Shares In Value portfolio ended up at a 60% loss in just two years, with only 2 from 10 picks making a profit, the rest absolutely plummeting to -90%. And these include staples of their recommended portfolio! Much better services out there.
very pushy to make me to pay their fee with endless phone call nearly 2 hours! Finally, they recommend a trash share with 30% loss within one week!
the loss increased to 50% more after less than one month recommendation!

I am lucky to be able to discuss SIV stock pics with Scott Adler. he is very knowledgeable. I have enjoyed the membership of Shares in Value enormously. I find that I have purchased a few recommendations; some outstanding; some solid with reliable growth; some still finding their feet but I still have confidence in the research and development that accompanies their reports. little time to make best use, other times trading regularly. I am more interested in smaller companies that are trying to solve some of the MANY problems the world. Less interested in mega companies that appears focused on ever increasing profits which, of course, are unsustainable in a finite world. If I can help smaller Australian companies produce something of value by buying their shares, that makes very happy. I am pleased with the research and mindset of Shares in Value ... they fit my values well!

Very happy with the subscription, easy to digest whilst thorough analysis. Have had email and phone communications with service managers, detailing and tailoring investment opportunities. Paid for itself in the first trade.
Shares in Value team are exceptional and extremely responsive. I did visit their offices in Sydney city to meet with some of the team and was pleasantly surprised at how well i was accomodated and the time they spent with me especially Jamie. I am a regular follower of Shares in Value information / recommendations and seminars. The recommendations have all proved to be very exceptionally good.
I have been a member of Shares in Value (SIV) for a couple of years now. As a busy person I have never found enough time to do detailed research for the shares in my SMSF. Like other and many 5 Star reviews I remain happy. Being retired, I have 'cash to splash', not 10s of thousands and not change either. Their recommendations to buy, hold, OR sell are more than welcome to this novice investor. Most would know, the market took a dip but I am confident it will return and boom. I would highly recommend Shares in Value. Professional staff from the initial call and they continue to check 'how you're going'. Being new to the stock market, about a year now, I appreciate their assist and advice, no guidance. I am happy with the service and will remain.
Shares in Value's recommendations has been a great value investment to my smsf portfolio. Not all have been a hit but most of them had. Their customer service is just right, not too bothering but not completely absent, they make proactive calls to ensure I got any help I needed with my portfolio.
I have found Shares in Value to be a very useful source of investment information to assist me when choosing investments in the share market. The fortnightly webinars are always very helpful as well. The email service is very helpful also. I would recommend Shares in Value to anyone wanting accurate up to date information to assist with their investment decisions.
I've been a member of Shares in Value for some time now, and I've found the service to be a valuable resource for keeping up with the market. One of the standout aspects has been the customer service. In particular, Kayley has been exceptional. She always takes the time to listen, explains things clearly, and makes me feel genuinely heard and understood. It's rare to come across someone who is so patient, approachable, and committed to providing such a positive experience.
Overall, I've had a great experience with Shares in Value and would recommend it to anyone looking for well-researched market insights backed by a team that genuinely cares about its members.

No effort made to remediate either. Would've appreciated getting my money back, but I would still be well in the red anyway.
