Snug is a really easy app to use. It’s made the entire process so much easier and I absolutely love that. It saves my information. I don’t have to go back and rewrite it 100 times.

The site was easy, clear, concise, organized and fast. It gave both parties access to your information allowing me to apply to other properties simultaneously; avoiding the need to organize a stack of documents that required scanning and emailing to every agency.

Honestly we have had to use about 4 different website profiles to apply for houses and this is the only one that gave us issues with errors and log in. It turns out my partners phone number (new to him since feb) was associated with another user of the website. This was a huge issue when tryign to submit urgent applications for housing in a housing crisis.

Thanks so much Snug for creating a safe online portal to store my information and provide an easy way to apply for rental listings quickly. It was great knowing that what I have uploaded has been passed on accurately and that each page clearly stated what was needed to create a great application.

Absolutely rubbish app for rental application. Way too much personal data needed for a basic application, it is easier to get a passport or firearms licence. Asks to adjust rental price to stand out (rental bidding illegal in NSW), not user friendly and cannot progress unless you mark all boxes, even if they don't relate to your application. Scam website probably selling your information to other scammers. If I could give zero stars I would.

Your application is scored based on the amount of rent you're willing to pay more than the advertised amount. This is a sneaky way of rent bidding which is illegal. your rental application is lie about the total amount you'll pay and you'll be placed on the top of the list. Real estates should be embarrassed for using this app because applications are not beings scanned properly by honest and loyal tenants, only keeping the top 2 or 3 high scoring applicants and denying the rest.

Hard to operate. Doesn’t update. Didn’t link. Missed out twice. Support carries on about what your using however dont have this issue with the other ones and easy to use. Needs a massive overhaul

deleted, so I cannot withdraw it. If I get a reply from Snug it is the same form letter telling me to select an option that isn't available (withdraw.) If I try another application it will not allow me to apply or withdraw. No-one at Snug cares, they are making a lot of money and don't have to even think about the people they are making homeless.

Snug is one of the worst websites I've had the misfortune of using, in general. Used it as a rental applicant. Snug is buggy, and often displays errors: sometimes the upload box will simply disappear on you, requiring you to refresh the application page, losing everything else you've put in; sometimes, a drop-down will simply inform you the code… Read more

Snug will sometimes ask for tedious doubling up, like wanting rental ledgers both in the 'Other Documents', yet also to re-upload it to attach to each property you've ever lived in - or by asking you to fill in your current address details in the application, and also on your profile. It features a pointless 'match metric' that seems to only care that there's more information, not what that information actually is.

The amount of extra stress this has added to my application for a potential home has ensured I will simply not apply with anywhere that uses Snug as their application method. If it isn't redoing applications because the site's bugged, it's being spammed emails. Even my landlord was being pestered by them. Don't trust any good reviews you see of this enterprise.

If you are a real estate company, or a private rental provider, I would strongly recommend avoiding Snug - you will miss out on good tenants who simply will not jump through the hoops this site requires that others simply don't. Other rental application sites are simply more competent and less invasive than Snug. One star because I cannot give it any lower.

Snug makes an already stressful process even more stressful, avoid using if you can help it. 2apply was much less intrusive, more intuitive and didn't spam you with emails for additional services.

Absolutely worst application ever. Keeps telling me my living arrangements are invalid WTAF?? It won't accept facts to move on. Done with it!!!!! Looks like we miss out on applying for rentals because of this utter useless app!

I really don't like tenant app... buts it's tolerable. And then there is SNUG. This is hands down the worst app I've ever used in my life. Like it literally makes you not even want that Property anymore. User-friendly? No way. Doesn't matter what you do if you breathe you're making mistake. post your profile picture (to increase your chances? whatever that means),employment needs to be confirmed via email to your employer, your student details also need proof that you are studying (a lot of unnecessary information). I am glad Aus is moving towards a more standardised way of doing application forms, no more unnecessary and invasive questioning.

Forced to apply through this app, problems with logging in and customer support is slow and served with attitude. To make matters worse, Snug have now sold my data to service providers and Im now being hounded with calls to my mobile.

Snug assisted me for renting a property efficiently. Saving me a lot of time for contacting referees, real estate agents, etc. The property manager Judy is very helpful. She is a very experienced and smart manager.

First time renting in a long time. Being a sole trader i found there was no options for us. I ended up having to adjust private info on invoices and show the corresponding payments into bank to prove my income. Overall once all uploaded it was great way to apply for properties.
