I admit they have great sound, but the battery lasts 3 years, it is expensive to replace, plus like so much USA made stuff, the item will glitch just out of warranty. Marketing sections rule in USA over quality and durability. Avoid this purchase if possible. Sonos will not assist you. Show details

It’s far worst than terrible, should be banned only use for this product is roadfill. The sad fact about this product once it’s working it’s fabulous. My gripe it stops ,drops out , these issues started from day one.(over five year period) So yesterday brought Apple HomePod, this device is so simple to set up, sound wise would say on par with Sonos BUT without the aggregation. ring its always available to choose on my airplay list and carry around the house. I did get this on special for about $570 so it was expensive but still acceptable for what it does. I would probably look at another sonos product like sound bar ect

Do not buy this product – I have had three Sonos moves sent to me and each time it is great for a few months and then the same problem occurs. It just does not connect properly to the rest of the system preferring to operate on its own tangent. Quality was great until it wasn’t! – I owned a Soundbar and two One speakers. Bought a Move late December 22 for $700. The speaker still works but this week it stopped charging. Disappointinge – First unit i purchasef just died and was replaced. Now aftet moving house refuses to pair with Bluetooth let alone wifi. Worst Customer Userability – This device sounds great but is extremly confusing and difficult to use. The designers have designed a product that is virtually impossibel to use or change settings on in an attempt to be "minimalisitc" and have created a product i would rather thros in the bin to be honest. Show details

Amazing sound…..while it lasts – I really enjoyed the sound quality and flexibility of Move speaker - but it only lasted 5 months. One day it stopped connecting to my phone and when I spoke to the support team I was asked to test the charge using a USB-C PD travel cable. although the whole unit is under warranty they won’t do anything until I spend more money. The cable is probably only $10 but the point is I paid a lot of money for this speaker - I have covid and can’t leave the house - but as far as Sonos is concerned - too bad!

Great speaker, but be aware – Was early gifted one 2 weeks ago and used daily. Even though there is a USB C port, do not assume this will charge at all. If you are going on a trip, make sure you have the exact specifications for voltage otherwise it will not even slow charge! Great Speaker – Such a great sounding speaker, one of it's major perks. I love being able to move it around my home to as well as how easy it is to use. It has google assistant in it as well, although sometimes it doesn't work very well there's room for improvement on that aspect. Show details

Pretty good, love the convenience of taking it from inside into outdoors area – Am a big fan of Sonos and have many speakers. Use the Move as one of the many speakers in my home. And love the fact that I can just pick it up walk outside to say the pool and the music just continues. it seemed richer when in wifi mode than on Bluetooth? It would be nice to be able to use the Move as a satellite speaker with the beam soundbar - currently not the case.

As good as I was hoping for – I’ll put it up front; I’m a fan of Sonos. My house is full of the stuff and I love it all although I’d hate to sit down and add up what it has all cost me. Bluetooth speakers are pretty damn good and I was in the market for a good portable speaker. And then came along Sonos Move - right on time! I couldn’t get one quick enough.

Before I get to the product, a quick word about the packaging; brilliant! I hate packaging that is difficult to open and I hate ripping open nicely printed (and potentially useful) boxes. Sonos get a 10plus for the packaging. Everything opens easily and the cardboard box seems to have been made by the same people that produce flight recorders. Well done Sonos and keep it up.

The Move reveals itself to be an extremely solidly put together unit. It sets up like all Sonos products, that is, easily ! The only extra step was to set up Google Assistant in the app but that was virtually automatic so it all got up working quite quickly.

I had read that the charging dock was flimsy; several reviewers had mentioned this. I found the dock to be light but well made and definitely up to the quality of the rest of the product. No issues here. As a matter of interest, the battery was holding a 60% charge out of the box so I had music straight away.

Sound quality? I’d put it better than a Play 1 and not as good as a Play 5. It has a nicer, warmer tone than a Play 3. For those who don’t know what this means, it sounds great with clear and deep bass, reasonable mid tones and pretty good highs. In short, it is really easy to listen to.

I won’t really be using it’s water proof virtues nor it’s resistance to force 10 dust storms but it is comforting to know that those features are there. Again, I hope never to drop my Move but it has been built to withstand a pretty big drop as it’s magnet is very well mounted so it won’t become an internal missile should the Move fall off a table or shelf.

All in all, the Sonos Move ticks all the boxes for me. When you consider how it sounds, how it is built, how easy it is to setup and how nice it is to look at, it is well worth it’s premium price. It’s actually really good value for money. Don’t hesitate, just do it!
