The machine is light weight and easy to carry and the power and welding leads are a decent length (3m and 4m) and the ground clamp and electrode holder are heavy duty. The first practice project was to fabricate a lift for cleaning under the ride-on mower and the welder produced good welds once I worked out the best amperage for the tubing size. I'm very happy with the machine so far and have got several projects ahead.
I shouldve bought a mig welder sooner especially for thin steel like lawn mower decks,the wire feeder was easy to set up and adjust and dialling in the correct voltage and wire speed is easy,it also has recommended settings on the wire cover inside,the binzle hand piece is solid but not heavy making it easy when welding in an awkward position,this is a great welding machine full stop!
The Weldclass 180Mst machine I had failed after almost two years. I returned the welder to Atom supply to be checked out under warranty and it was a pleasure dealing with them. After a week I received a call to say a replacement welder was ready for me to pickup. I have never experienced this type of service when trying to get something repaired… Read more
under warranty as it always been a struggle. I can highly recommend the Weldclass and their machines. I’m a boilermaker by trade and I would have to say this is one of the best welding machines I have ever used.

welders. I only use gasless .9 mig wire and wire feed never causes any problems . The weldclass has enough grunt to tackle big jobs and it never once overheated due to continuos useage.

Bought my Weldclass 180MST from TKD. The welder failed at about the 12 month mark with approximately 1 hour of use in this 12 months. Took 6 weeks for Weldclass to inspect the failed unit which to their credit they replaced - although they didn't replace the near new role of wire that was in the welder when it was returned. is a very good deal and I ended up buying the bundle pack. My only complaint is that the switch on the back of the machine to switch between spool gun and MiG has been installed backwards.

to get it set up to my requirements, but it wasn't extremely difficult for an inexperienced person. Once I had it set up, it was so easy to use. A nice smooth operation ans portable machine. Great for the home handy man or professional who needs a portable machine. Seems quite robust quality compared to a lot of the cheap options available. Very happy with my purchase, warranty provisions and info provided with the machine, and available from the manufacturer online.

earth clamp and lead having had to replace 3 times now. Would recommend machine but use a heavy earth lead and clamp if tackling larger jobs.

Product i would stand by – As soon as welder turned up i was in to it. Preformed beautifully. Start on thin steel and was amazed how quickly you could dile back the amps and wired feed to achieve a clean weld. Had everything I needed in kit. Excellent product

Very easy to use and great machine – I have only just started welding with a mig welder. I have done a small amount of stick welding and I have found the mig very easy to use, the set up is very easy and the quality of the work I’m turning out is great. Excellent welder – The machine was easy to set up with the new gasless wire roll. I selected the correct polarity by easily swapping cables. A Gutsy machine in a small package – I bought this machine as it has a 7 year warranty. So it must be good, right. Well Ive been welding with it for a few hourrs today and I am blown away with how well it welds. It lays down a smooth weld with minimum splatter using gasless wire.
