low across Australia to find a remaining one of these superseded models. Absolutely amazing little welder for the price! I would not have the new model for no other reason than the very loud fan that runs full noise for at least 5 full minutes every time it strikes an arc irrelevant of temperature. Very annoying in a quiet workplace like a home workshop. I actually bought the new model and returned it in disgust, It totally contradicts the advertised “smart fan” feature that Unimig advertises with the new model. What a shame. If you can find the KUM-M-RTIG200ACDC buy it and dont sell it! I Awesome welders so much better than the new model in my opinion.
I have been using this wire for a while now, it leaves alot cleaner finish than other brands and runs alot nicer through my welders., Show details

cycle and it is much easier to strike an arc and it produces very smooth welds with less spatter than the old welder. The control panel allows for fine and accurate control of the welding amperage. The machine is light weight and easy to carry and the power and welding leads are a decent length (3m and 4m) and the ground clamp and electrode holder are heavy duty. The first practice project was to fabricate a lift for cleaning under the ride-on mower and the welder produced good welds once I worked out the best amperage for the tubing size. I'm very happy with the machine so far and have got several projects ahead.
Great after sales (and after warrantee) service – I bought one of these in 2021. It has worked really well for me. I have used it quite a bit with both flux core and solid wire. I had to put new… Read more
wire in yesterday and when I finished the wire wouldn't feed. I checked the manual and watched the how to video online with no luck.
Today I found an email address for CIGWeld enquiries and sent a message describing the issue. 5 hours later I got a reply suggesting a setting that may be wrong. I checked and found that the setting was wrong, corrected it and it is working again. The machine is out of warrantee. I wasn't optimistic when I sent the email. I am very happy with the afters sales service I received.
I purchased a Cigweld 185 from a local authorised dealer and it has been a great unit. Have purchased a number of cigweld products over the years and have been most impressed with the range and great pricing.

It feeds wire but there is only a very feeble arc-barely sufficient to melt the wire and nowhere near enough to weld. I suspect there is a major issue with the internal electrics. My suggestion is DO NOT BUY.

years on a SWS brand, the Unimig is immediately better, it's like night and day. I'm not saying there aren't other good welders out there but it's an expensive trial and error process. There is a good reason why you see Unimig in most fab shops you walk into. I've done a little steel with this welder, it's good for sure but its aluminium work is a standout.

friendly, chatty and excellent customer service, bought the 185 Fury kit by Weldclass after his recommendations on the type of work im looking to do at home, gave great advice on what extras to get, the logical upgrades and the awesome warranty process extensively which is class leading, the kit arrived and he was straight onto calling me, went in to collect it and he met me at the door, took me thru the kit, helped get the consumables to get me started both gas n gasless, delivered it to the boot of my car without hesitation. After a less than favourable experience at another tool store I will only ever shop with Trade Tools in Cairns from now on, all the lads are very approachable, they have things in stock or source them super fast, just updated my review to show the sliding doors I made for my mini shed, due to the size, placement wtc sliding doors were my only option, needed them done n dusted quickly and the 185 Fury made it effortless....didnt have to grind a single weld, no blow out or anything....so glad I got the Weldclass
