As per other reviews. My system started to fail around the 12 months . With all the testing I carried out, the fault narrowed down to the PVR. But they weren't having it. product only having a 12-month warranty, I recently was told by Zosi it had a 2 year warranty. No Tax Invoice sent with purchase. I requested a refund under Australian Consumer Law, which clearly protects consumers beyond a standard warranty if a product is not of acceptable quality.
After over 30 emails, Zosi finally agreed to issue a full refund once I returned the faulty product. I sent the item back at their request and provided tracking. Once they received it, they backflipped on the agreement—refusing to honour the full refund and offering only 50% instead.
This is not an isolated case. If you look online or on Zosi’s own Facebook page (where they screen and block negative posts), you’ll see similar complaints from other customers around the world. Delays, stalling, broken promises, and outright refusal to follow consumer laws—it appears all part of their business model. Effectivelly, you are purchasing without any warranty at all, and they will wear you down with their smiling assassin tacticts that you will walk away with a very big headache and no results or satisfaction.

If you're reading this and considering buying from Zosi—don’t. You’ll regret it. I'm in the process of putting in a formal complaint to ACCC and consumer Affairs Vic. As eBay will do nothing about it and nor will Paypal as they are all in bed together, and I hope others don’t fall into the same trap.

sent to their Sydney office but I was told it was lost. They offered a new system at a reduced price, which as my customer was already NOT HAPPY I paid for. The new system lasted a week before failing again. This seller has cost me several hundred dollars and would not even consider a compromise. Customer Service, tech support and truth does not exist with this company, I was conned think before purchasing from this company.

port an earth terminal and an RS485 connection on the rear. Without any consultation Zosi decided to send me instead a cheaper inferior model the RO9VN without remote and no RS485. Apparently this has been going on since November 2024 where in the full knowledge that they actually do not have any of the RO8AN DVR's described above they continued to advertise it for sale and without informing the purchaser substitute the cheaper device. The same thing is happening to people purchasing Zosi DVR's through Temu and Zosi Austo, and I know that because I have purchased "And returned" from both. to cut my losses and just but a Swann security system. I have replaced two cameras so far and have spare swann cameras for the future. The company tries but is selling rubbish and eventually strings you along until you just give up. They even had the audacity to ask me to post the DVR that failed the second time at my cost. I told them I would take out the hard drive and throw the rest out.

Great picture, reliable. Searching recordings is terrible on PC, very good on app – I had a HD system and was impressed by picture quality, but disappointed with lengthy frustrations and difficulty of looking back on events. Recorder died after about a year, but was quickly replaced, Over a year later all is fine, but reviewing footage is still the same as lesser model. It sucks. (Since writing this review, there has been an upgrade to the phone app. This now has a vastly better search facility and is excellent. It would be great is you could search on the computer, like you can on the app. But I will new happily keep the Zosi in my new house and I have upgraded the 3 stars to 4 stars on 2 November 2022.) My experiences with service department have been pretty good.
Not A Happy Chappy – Both cameras failed within six months. First one failed within the warranty period. A replacement was sent. It failed within six months too. Tech support tried to help. way. Luckily I had purchased their 8 camera system, needing only 6 cameras for my install ! I unpacked the remaining 2 cameras took down the faulty units and mounted and set the new ones up and my night vision returned. So I contacted Zosi and then the run around began.
We have no record of purchase so I forwarded them emails showing order, dispatch, delivery, emails with Zosi etc. Then they wanted a video of the product not working, so I was supposed to take down the fixed cameras install the faulty ones again, take a video of the blank screen at night, send them the video and afterwards reinstall the working cameras again. I emailed and complained at the unfair burden, below is their reply
" Hi Mike, Thank you for your update. I check you order information it shows that you purchase in 2020-08-10, over one year ago and our warranty is one year. If you want to change another two camera, you can purchase it in our store. Best regards"
I then sent a copy of the Amazon listing with the 2 year warranty in black and white and now await their next communication with a suspicion that I will either be ignored or given more runaround. Be warned that their customer service is non existent and they will have you running around in circles getting more and more frustrated until you give up. I really regret trusting Zosi, I thought Amazon would have chosen their suppliers more carefully to protect their customers from such poor customer service. When the system gives further trouble which I sense is not far away, I will put it in the rubbish bin where it belongs and purchase a better system such as a Swann.

Best customer service ever – Had some issues getting my camera views to my IPad along with forgetting my password and getting locked out of the system. way to fix is to restart and reset the box(not easy when you are not home) and delete the cameras from the app and rentals cameras to the app. This is a daily necessity and online research shows me that I am not alone. Try another brand as this is not the one. The box recording also drops in an out with regards to the cameras being on and offline. sometimes every 10 seconds.

on ebay and aliexpress.com. I did research on the pricing and got the best deal. I paid another $500 for installation.
The system is very easy to install,connect and operate. Easy for any person to do so. They also have online video's on installation & troubleshooting. The picture quality is really good. The night vision is average but does it job effectively. The mobile app is also good for continuous live streaming though could have been better. I am sure with time they would come up with new app.
I had couple of minor issues (not related to product) and took help of their online support on WhatsApp. They response was good. Luckily I saw youtube videos and resolved them immediately. Its been over 2 weeks now and the system is operating without any glitch.
So if you looking for a good system under $1000/- I would suggest you to go for it.
