my pre-existing experiences working within the Aged Care sector and to augment my Volunteer Visitor responsibilities to guide and assist other Older Australians (>65 years) in coping with their known age-related difficulties. should still be a reasonable standard of supervision and service when payment is involved.
In my session, effective treatment only began in the final 15 minutes, and much of the time was spent without clear technique or direction. This resulted in a session that did not meet the expectations of a remedial massage, even at a training level.
If clients are paying—even at a reduced rate—there should be adequate oversight from trainers and some form of quality assurance. Where a session clearly falls short, offering a refund or complimentary follow-up would be a fair and professional approach.
Clarifying what “model” entails and ensuring consistent supervision would improve the experience significantly.

I enrolled in the advanced nail bundle course because I was excited to learn, improve my skills and invest in myself. As part of the course material I received, there was information stating that a kit was included, along with information about what would be provided in that kit. Based on the information I had been given, that was my understanding when I enrolled.
I was later told that I needed to go onto another payment plan in order to secure the kit.
I can only speak about my own experience, what I understood when I enrolled and what I was later told. For me, this was confusing and extremely upsetting, particularly because the information I had received had given me a different understanding of what was included.
Because of this, I tried to unenrol from the course. I was then told that because my enrolment was a “self-enrolment”, I was unable to cancel.
This is where the situation became incredibly stressful for me. I felt completely stuck and didn’t know what I was supposed to do or where I could turn. What had started as something I was genuinely excited about had turned into something that caused me a huge amount of stress, anxiety and uncertainty.
I ended up having to seek advice elsewhere to understand my rights and what options were available to me. I never expected that enrolling in an online nail course would mean I needed further advice simply to understand where I stood and what I could do next.
I also want to be honest about my experience with the course material. This is my personal opinion based on the material I was provided. I personally found the level of information provided to be quite straightforward and, for me, I didn’t feel the depth of the content was what I expected for the overall price of the course. I felt that free platforms such as TikTok and YouTube offered a much wider range of nail education and demonstrations, and personally, I found those platforms more useful for my learning. I understand that everyone will have different experiences and expectations, so I can only speak for myself and my experience with the course.
Thankfully, I’m now able to put the whole experience behind me and move forward. I’m incredibly relieved to finally be at that point, because the whole experience caused me far more stress and anxiety than I ever expected when I first enrolled.
And this is the biggest thing I want people to take away from my experience:
If you are considering enrolling with Bela Beauty College, PLEASE read the Terms and Conditions first. FIND THEM. READ THEM. UNDERSTAND THEM.
I personally wish I had done this before enrolling.
Pay particular attention to anything relating to self-enrolment, cooling-off periods, cancellation, payment arrangements and exactly what is included with the course and payment option you are choosing.
Please take the time to understand what you are agreeing to before you sign up. If there is something you don’t understand, ask questions and get clarification before committing.
I’m not writing this review to tell anyone else what they should or shouldn’t do. I’m sharing what happened to me because I hope my experience can help someone else make an informed decision and avoid ending up where I was.
I would never want another person to experience the level of stress, anxiety and uncertainty that I went through over something that started with me simply wanting to learn a new skill.
I’m grateful that I can finally close the chapter on this experience and move forward.
Based on my own experience, I wouldn’t choose to enrol with Bela Beauty College again.
I genuinely hope my experience helps someone else, and I hope nobody else ends up where I was.

, now many of my extended family & friends use it as well as I’ve highly recommended it. I attend to do Physiology appointments with a physiologist & also go to walk & swim to build my strength. My grandchildren & cousins children also attend to have swimming lessons from 2 years & up with outstanding results.
I highly recommend it to everyone for what ever reason or any stile of swimming you wish to do.
The pool is spotlessly clean, the facilities like showers & bathrooms also clean, hot showers a huge bonus.
The staff & team are very professional , extremely helpful they all go above & beyond . Nothing is ever too much trouble , I’ve needed help on occasions, they’re always no more than a step away. Very reassuring as I have disabilities.
Last but not least if you like your coffee or a light refreshment, a cheese melt on toast , brownie or ice cream & more .They’re all delicious.

I could stop and start the online work as needed and Brent was very knowledgeable and encouraging and was also quick to reply when I needed help with the online component. Being in a small group meant I had plenty of time to ask questions and practice on the 3 different sizes of manikins (adult, child & baby) which all had lights and clicks to show when my technique and timing was effective - which is critical to know. I will definitely be signing up to other courses with Brent as SALT is making it so easy and accessible to up-skill and to have confidence in actually using those skills effectively in a real-world situation.

My advice when you see a company pushing an Auto-Renewal subscription without an Obvious and Easy to Access OPT IN and OPT OUT Option, RUN! FAR AWAY!
This company appears to have set up Tricks and Traps to get hold of your money, without automatic reminders of when renewals are near, for you to review and Opt Out. You don't seem to be able to ring a human. The Support Team email replies don't address your detailed issues... "..it’s an automated response..." crafty indeed!
This company hides behind a Policy that refuses reasonable and legitimate refund claims with onerous clauses you must comply with, such as: "'..you have followed our personalized workout plan at least during 14 consecutive days.." "..demonstrate that you have actually followed the plan by providing us with a screen video or screenshots of workout plan history, which you have personally passed.." for more than the 14 consecutive days..
There seemed to be App "bugs" preventing quick initial setup, I spent hours over multiple sessions. Some essential information was made hard to see, such as: "...If you wish to receive a notification regarding the auto-renewal, you should set a reminder through your personal web cabinet..." So, what should be a Default Setting, is obscured and put back on the clients, to learn by being caught in the Trap... My Auto Renewal (Trap) amount was about double the stated Subscription amount for my country, Oz. Why?? Fortunately, my bank, CBA, handled the Dispute quickly and successfully, my thanks go to CBA.

booking for a Saturday morning. I drove there paid for carpark. There was nobody in the place. The gate downstairs was locked. I tried to call them 4 times because their website showed they were open till 1pm on Saturdays. I also tried to call out to them but the doors upstairs were also closed. If they had to close early they should have called me to arrange a different time for my appoitment. They took our money, not providing the service and we tried to get on Groupon and it showed that the voucher had been redeemed. We complained to Groupon and they said that Shanti Yoga would contact us, yet a week passed nothing from them. Now Groupon wouldn't refund us the money. This place is a disgrace. I wrote the comment because I don't want any more innocent people to be hurt and cheated like me and husband.

their service is farkin crap if I can put it bluntly. I'll never buy from them again. Their competitors in USA provide a much better service and they're cheaper, especially in the long run. I order the same products from their competitors at a similar price, shipping is free, there is no customs duty at my end because it's included, and it arrives within 5 days. These *&%$, take 7 weeks, I have to pay extra for that long crap shipping service, and I have to huge pay customs fees at the end of it. In the end, they cost me heaps more and it's taken 7 times as long. I will not ever buy from them again. Terrible.
