my test package for 17 September 2026 over two weeks ago, and Ashley has known about this booking the entire time. During my last lesson, there was no indication that there would be any issue with proceeding with the test.
Then yesterday, 15 September, Ashley messaged me asking if I could do an extra lesson today, 16 September, and pay him directly instead of booking through the website. That already didn't sit right with me, and with such short notice, I couldn't fit it into my schedule anyway.
What really upset me was what happened next. Less than 24 hours before my driving test, Ashley suddenly told me to cancel my test package booking because he no longer had confidence in me. He then suggested that I find someone else to lend me a car or use for the test because he didn't want to risk damage to his vehicle or affect his livelihood.
Seriously? The day before my test?
If Ashley genuinely thought I wasn't ready, why wasn't this brought up earlier? I've had this test package booked for 16 days. Instead, I'm being told at the last minute to cancel everything and figure it out myself the day before one of the most important parts of learning to drive.
I feel completely let down, betrayed, and frustrated. I didn't need this drama or stress right before my driving test. Because of the way this situation has been handled, I no longer want any service from Ez Licence and I simply want a full refund of my test package.

highly enough of the company, and especially my trainer Brett. Having towed a 450 kg pod trailer across the country for 1000s of kilometers, I thought I knew many things already. Well, I didn't, and I learned so much that was new to me, as well as becoming aware of a few bad habits I had picked up through lack of formal instruction. The information Brett provided was up-to-date, comprehensive and very well structured. He calmly and patiently guided me through practical tasks like hitching, unhitching and backing the caravan, always perceptive to times when I needed more in-depth knowledge or a little breather. The five hour course was so enjoyable and packed with value that I'm thinking of booking the 4WD course as well, even though I'm not an off-road kind of person! If you want to become a better, safer, more confident and switched on driver and caravanner, do yourself a favour and invest in such a training course - it is 100% worth the time and money!

service; they were punctual, professional, and kind throughout. They genuinely cared about my success in driving! I transferred my international license to QLD license. They boosted my confidence and developed my skills when it came to driving on the motorway (highway) and they also provided refresher lessons prior to the test for driving in general (inclusive of, but not limited to manoeuvres, merge or form 1 lane, changing lanes, various speed zones, parallel parking, reverse exercise). Furthermore, I found them to be very efficient in their communication response time so I was not left wondering when they will get back to me. And liasing with Ali and Husne on a schedule and timeframe (including any changes) was so easy and straightforward.
Individual Instructor review - The driving instructor duo have made me feel like family! Ali is very calm (which helped me to also be calm) and very technical and thorough with driving skills as whenever he gave instructions or advice, he would refer to the TMR rules and guidelines (including measurements and reasons), for example, how far you should be away from the curb in the various scenarios, and the time to check and merge safely on the various speed roads, etc. Husne was like a mum; she genuinely cared about me, always providing positive comments throughout the drive, making me feel comfortable to learn (and calming my nerves, especially on the highway – the first day was hilarious!) She also knows what she’s talking about and is well versed with the TMR road regulations and expectations.
Overall, Husne and Ali were the best people to help enhance my driving skills. I have successfully transferred my international license to QLD license, and I am so grateful them for this! And I know if you engage them in your driving journey – whether it be first time learner or refresher leaner (for transferring international license or in general) – you will not regret it!

It's a shame that Driving Solutions are happy to lose a potential future customer for their own short term profit. I would not recommend doing business with a company with this ethos.
Before booking, it is perhaps worth considering who's hands you're in should something go awry on the track.

That's just not how you talk to someone trying to learn. Thankfully, we found another instructor who believed in her, and she nailed her VORT test. purchase process, and when I tried to troubleshoot, their support page was broken.
I sent multiple emails with no response. When I eventually called, the person I spoke to already knew the issue, suggesting they had seen my emails but chose not to reply. I was told the developers were aware of the problem but that adding support for my wheel would be expensive, and no timeframe could be provided.
At that point, I followed up via email to ask for a workaround or refund. I was told that compatibility information was available on the website, but when I pointed out that it wasn’t, and that their support page was broken, there was no apology. Instead, I was told my wheel wasn’t high enough quality and that it “would negatively impact our brand/software.”
While I appreciated the refund, the overall experience was disappointing. There was no acknowledgement of the missing compatibility information or broken support page, and the tone throughout felt dismissive.
If you're considering this program, make sure your wheel is compatible. If the support page is still broken and if the website still hasn't been updated to clearly list supported hardware, I strongly recommend contacting them directly to confirm before purchasing.
