low across Australia to find a remaining one of these superseded models. Absolutely amazing little welder for the price! I would not have the new model for no other reason than the very loud fan that runs full noise for at least 5 full minutes every time it strikes an arc irrelevant of temperature. Very annoying in a quiet workplace like a home workshop. I actually bought the new model and returned it in disgust, It totally contradicts the advertised “smart fan” feature that Unimig advertises with the new model. What a shame. If you can find the KUM-M-RTIG200ACDC buy it and dont sell it! I Awesome welders so much better than the new model in my opinion.

Not happy with the previously advertised “manual” Mig weld mode.. I wanted separate wire speed, separate amp setting and separate voltage setting but it will not do it. If I’m wrong, maybe the manufacturer can let me know why. Show details

I know my mig is no longer available but it is still going strong. I am using it in an all steel extension of my mancave. Working up at 3 meter heights is no problem. Love my unimig. Show details

the correct voltage and wire speed is easy,it also has recommended settings on the wire cover inside,the binzle hand piece is solid but not heavy making it easy when welding in an awkward position,this is a great welding machine full stop!

as it is out of the box it will not start. sent a detailed description of the issue, long wait, then they wanted video's. asked for conformation they had received and took a few days just to confirm they had and they had been sent to the "technician". after another week another email and claimed they have not heard from the "technician" im a month out from purchase still without a working generator. they have now said they are sending a courier to pick it up. will update as it happens - but as of now would recommend not touching with a 10 foot pole

wire in yesterday and when I finished the wire wouldn't feed. I checked the manual and watched the how to video online with no luck.

Today I found an email address for CIGWeld enquiries and sent a message describing the issue. 5 hours later I got a reply suggesting a setting that may be wrong. I checked and found that the setting was wrong, corrected it and it is working again. The machine is out of warrantee. I wasn't optimistic when I sent the email. I am very happy with the afters sales service I received.

The service that I received from both Total Tools in Albury and the Cigweld Technical team was excellent and although the welder was just out of warranty they agreed to replace the unit with a brand new one. It’s clear this is a premium tool designed for precision and reliability.

Like my other Festool tools, this one has impressed me and reinforces why I continue to invest in the brand. only positive. The feeder constantly blocked, and after a while the exit chute would block too. Had to constantly turn it off to clear jammed material. I calculated it would take hours to process, so instead I got the lawnmower out and ran it over the lot and it was done in 10 minutes. So the supposed purpose designed machine failed where the humble mower designed for something else left it for dead. Completely unfit for purpose and very poorly designed. Don't buy this junk !
