Having run BFGoodrich KO2s on my INEOS Quartermaster, I recently replaced them with the KO3s. The difference has been surprisingly noticeable. The KO3 is a considerably better tyre. Road noise is noticeably lower, yet the grip is excellent, particularly in wet conditions where I always felt the KO2s were a little lacking. My Quartermaster weighs just over three tonnes and, despite being a capable 4x4, spends much of its time driving in AWD mode. With that much weight and torque going through the AWD system, tyre performance is rather important.
Yes, the KO2s were worn when I replaced them, so this isn't a perfectly scientific comparison. However, I can compare the KO3s with how the KO2s performed when they were new — and, for me, there is no contest.
The KO3s are quieter, provide noticeably better wet-weather grip and simply feel more planted. After plenty of kilometres in a heavy Quartermaster, I'd choose the KO3 without hesitation.

Had the KO2 which needed replacing, the KO3 are a much better tyre than the KO2. The road noise is less and the grip is excellent. The KO2 weren’t ideal in the wet weather but these are so much better. As I have a 4x4 that is 2WD on the rear I’ve noticed how much better they are. Of course my old tyres were worn but comparing these to when I had the KO2 new, hands down a much better tyre.
