From the start of my interaction with Brighter Super I have been super Impressed, particularly with the assistance and willingness of Peter Hoban to help me out at every turn. He certainly epitomizes the phrase...'going the extra yard' After running my SMSF for 26 years and rolling over to Brighter Super under the stewardship of Peter, the whole transaction went smoothly. After 2 years of trying to resolve an issue with Brighter Super & with help from AMP Lifetime Super, I have received confirmation that monies I thought went missing have in fact been transferred. This did not show on my ATO records which has caused me a lot of problems. It was no fault of Brighter Super but of my employer who made the initial mistake.

From my initial request the transaction and help Michelle gave was professional and precise. The transaction was smooth and hassle free. I would recommend her and brighter super to everyone every time when discussing superannuation. Five stars Show reply

Great venue, great speakers, concerned over proposed 10% returns mentioned constantly. Also top 10 of super funds… I haven’t seen any other reporting that puts us in the top 10 but still a bit chuffed, are we keeping it to ourselves. Show reply

Peter Hoban has been fantasy through a bit of a stressful time for me. I needed to withdraw a large sum of money from my Super and his advice was priceless, he helped make the transaction less stressful. Brighter Super failed to action an electronic request via ATO to transfer a Super Balance - the reason being that they were using an email address that was 3 years old, due to admin errors at their end. I was only made aware by ATO 'dormant super' advice that the transfer had not occurred. Given the request had already been instigated by me, but… Read more

[Content Removed] failed to act, it expired and my electric request sits in limbo. To resolve this [Content Removed] told me to do it manually...I have now spent over 10 hours on multiple phone calls and submission of manual forms to meet the matrix of roadblocks that Brighter Super have put up. Each time I provide the details, a new barrier is invented - each time I lose a week as they take a week to action emails. I am still going 7 months after initial request and super still not transferred. Inefficient and unhelpful. Thank goodness for having my own SMSF.

Must have pushed that link a thousand times till 5.40 nothing happened so gave up

Michelle was very informative, friendly and very easy to speak with. She answered all questions clearly and made sure we understood what was happening. Navigating super in this day and age is confusing and sometimes very overwhelming, and Michelle certainly gave us peace of mind.

They listened and helped us get our ideas out of our head and into a financial plan. And as a member already, at a reasonable cost. We are very happy with the outcome. Can't recommend them enough.

Although the consultant Michelle, couldn't provide what I needed, she explained the rules, regulations and why that wasn't possible. Now I know. Had a great catch up with my Brighter Super Account Manager recently. I really loved the way he explained how my Super works for me and informed me on tools and calculators to use and steps to take to get the best advice and outcome for my future retirement.

I have had the pleasure of having Peter Hoban as my Brighter Super account manager for several years, I have always found Peter very professional, well versed and extremely responsive to any inquiry I have placed with him.

Peter, as an Account Manager, is first class. Had a really in-depth conversation on superannuation, status of my account for my age, investment options, and how to decrease my and my partner's expense ratio. Brighter Super is a great super company. I couldn't recommend them more.

I had a team's meeting with Peter to discuss my Super and transitioning to retirement. Peter was excellent and explained things in simple terms. He was very clear that he couldn't give advice but provided different options Brighter Super offered. He has also booked me in for a Super health check which will be more specific to what funds I will need for retirement and lifestyle. Overall, I was very pleased with our meeting.
