I cannot recommend Leanne highly enough! From the very beginning, she was absolutely amazing to deal with and made the whole recruitment process such a positive experience. questions I had and made me feel supported and valued every step of the way.
Thanks to Leanne, I was given the wonderful opportunity to work with the NDIA, which I am extremely grateful for. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was organized and that I felt confident and comfortable throughout the process.
It’s not often you come across someone in recruitment who is so genuinely invested in helping people succeed. Leanne is an absolute credit to the agency, and her dedication, kindness and professionalism really stood out to me.
Thank you so much, Leanne, for everything you have done. I truly appreciate your support and the opportunity you gave me. I would highly recommend Leanne to anyone looking for a recruiter who genuinely cares about her candidates and goes the extra mile. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Absolutely useless, quit my previous job for a process technician position, started the week of training and realised they had place me with someone I have a DVO against and then on day 4 my contract was terminated. Absolutely disgusting, gave up a decent job for this just to end up jobless and when told I was terminated they didn't care one bit,… Read more
the were so bland and blunt without a single care for what they caused me. Also grounds for unfair dismissal. So I hope you guys have good lawyers
Recently I am engaged with Chandler McLeod for my Job search. After various efforts in the process, my job search has turned towards a positive signal with a call from Dechamma from Chandler Macleod. Dechamma has been very helpful to me throughout my job search, interview and recruitment process. Her timely updates and clear, empathetic… Read more
communication helped me stay positive and patient at every stage.
With her support and guidance, I was able to successfully navigate the process and finally receive an offer for a role I truly value. I thank all the team for being very supportive to facilitate a smooth onboarding.
I had the absolute pleasure of working with Max Brown from Chandler Macleod, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. Max helped me tremendously in securing a role with Department of Natural Resources, Mines, Manufacturing and Regional and Rural Development (DNRMMRRD). From the very beginning, he was professional, responsive, and genuinely… Read more
invested in helping me succeed.
He kept me well-informed throughout the entire recruitment process, provided clear guidance on expectations, and offered valuable advice that boosted my confidence at every stage. His communication was excellent, and he made what can often be a stressful process feel smooth and straightforward.
Thanks to Max’s support and dedication, I was able to secure a fantastic opportunity. I truly appreciate his hard work and would highly recommend him to anyone seeking new career opportunities.
Chandler Macleod has taken 59 days to mobilise me and I’m still not on site. I have personally mobilised similar contract positions within Mining Company (prior to Chandler Macleod being involved) so I know 59 days is not normal or an acceptable timeframe for a contract position. I had already interviewed and was successful in winning the position… Read more
back in July, I had an existing contract, and agreed to a new rate, was in the org chart – all that remained was a medical, a few basic inductions and finally a flight roster. I hung in there for so long waiting, believing Chandler Macleod's promises that I would be mobilised any day. So what took so long? Did CM not have the right processes? Did CM just not care? Or did we get really unlucky on this occasion and have the most bungling, incompetent recruiters on the job? I’m not trying to be rude, but I cannot fathom how CM made such an unnecessary disaster of what should be a clear-cut process. I've tried to escalate the issues but CM don't appear to be interested in communicating with me. I finally made the decision to find another job through another recruitment company – and within 3 days I was interviewed and had an offer with a firm mobilisation date with another company. Ultimately, Mining Company missed out on a great candidate, I missed out on a great opportunity and my family has missed out on 2 month's income. Mining Company at the very least deserves an explanation from Chandler Macleod – hopefully an investigation with lessons learned.

Awful to work for empty promises. First day of working at contract and late arrival by representative of Chandler Macleod… No communications. Still no sign of any help either looking for a role. And still not paid super from previous work… awful
unfortunately missed out on starting a job because of miss communication late at night from this hiring company, the start time changed three times, one I was not aware of as I had fallen asleep due to it being 11PM at night. Getting in contact with someone was even harder, I called multiple numbers emailed ect and didn’t get a response till days later. no apologies on their end.
Employ Aus Citizens and local kids – They employ international students from bangladesh and pakistan cheap labour probably and also through inside recomendation. From team leaders
Unprofessional just like telemarketers – Constant phone calls of jobs availability that don’t match my experience. Pushy and aggressive nature. No phone etiquette. When told im currently in a role they hang up. Why would I want to work for your agent?
Totally incompetent agency, run by BOT’s – Received a call from a workplace for a P/T job, was told to go to C/Mc for a drug test which if I passed, would do induction the following week. Attended C/Mc, no drug test, but copped a physical instead, (lady was very polite), she acknowledged… Read more
that I only wanted P/T. 2 hrs later I get a text with no info other than hrs for full time. Then I another at 1.30AM for a 6AM start. NFI where. Have spent a week trying to contact, no email replies, phone always rings out. Don’t know if I passed the physical. Oh, but I keep getting emails to complete their security check. NO WAY am I giving such a slack business all my ID’s.
Follow-up · The person doing the physical was polite and thorough. No issue with that. The job offered was completely irrelevant to both my physical and what I’d said I was seeking. Ditto subsequent jobs offered that were the opposite side of the city. Job location was Dandenong Sth.

Horrible Company Culture – This place is an absolute joke. The recruiters can't speak a word of [Content Removed]. They can't explain the jobs being offered, and all these mugs care about is getting the applicant to "agree" to being represented by CM. These people know nothing about the industries they are recruiting for, and should be IQ tested before being allowed to make phone calls

Hopelessly inefficient organisation - avoid if poss! – I have been dealing with the Perth office for 2 months to determine start date for a role I have been offered. Multiple calls, spoken to multiple employees, explained situation multiple times. Calls are never returned and no information has been provided. Incredibly frustrating to deal with such an inefficient, unprofessional and apparently hopelessly inefficient organisation.

Incredible! – Horrible company, toxic beyond belief and they must receive a commission per hire because they are in a state of constant hiring as they mistreat and bully people until they quit or fabricate issues to force them out. No idea how a rational, functioning government would ever consider such an awful company as an option for labour hire. Avoid unless absolutely desperate or need something to tide you over until you get a real job.

Terrible company – I work as an APS manager and have numerous examples where this recruitment company is used, staff who have been working in the higher duties/roles for 5+ years with exceptional service are not even invited for interviews whereas underperforming, below average people are promoted or hired. Currently, staff in APS agencies are so frustrated with… Read more
these mob. 1. Example Mrs A - working as a Team leader for 7+ years with exceptional service and massive local community support rejected after intial application. 2. Example Mr B - Working as a Data Analayst in APS agency made unsuccessfull at intial stage for a similar role. This individual was highly commended by the agency for incredible work he has performed to identify latest trends and speed up the claim process by 20%. 3. Example Mrs C- Had 10+ years in Centrelink payment system, absolute gem of a person, highly regarded by locals, emphathatic to name a few qualities. Chandler Mcleod rejected her application on the first instance, Her application was personally checked by Assistant director and HR staff as they absoulutly wanted her to get the permanenet opportunity. I have personally heard numerous instances where this company is using broken IT systems that are resulting in poor outcomes and bad fit.
Now the fun part, Mrs A was replaced by this clown who had no prior experience in the area, lasted 3 weeks and resigned. Mr B, ended up taking a role in another agency and his team has collapsed, the replacement guy doesnt have skills, is not a fit for the team and is just filling in. Mrs C, has lost trust in the agency's higher leadership, local leadership is supporting her but she doesn't feel connected to her role as a MacDonalds manager is running a centrelink office with no knowledge of the systems. Already had two lockdowns last month as new manager escalated the normal situation.
Who is paying for this costly recruitment experiment! Us the ordinary Aussies!

useless – admin staff never answer the phone, you have to leave message. If they do call you back days later they assure you they are taking action but do nothing. Leave another message, a different person calls you back who has no knowledge of your previous interaction. repeat this process. I'm amazed public service agencies use this company for their hiring
Don't work for them – I worked with them once they didn't even pay me on their pay day and I'm still waiting. It's starting to feel like a scam.

Personalised Service – After applying for roles earlier in 2023, a phone call came in from The St Leonards office - Priyanka and Talia giving me some hope! Thank you. Vvienne
They approached me then no contact to get your info – This organization leaves me to believe they scout you for your details of a job then use it as they will to perhaps seem that many have applied. They NEVER REPLY back to you.

Malvern office – Applied for a job on seek called them several times to get an update told to upload personal info and nothing! I had to chase them. I think I’ve been scammed. No one followed up or called me back about a job after I first applied. Looks to me they could be building a database for jobs that simply do not exist!! The number I was called on… Read more

Terrible admin staff – Why on earth do they even have a number to call when they simple do not answer and tell you to email them and they will call you back. I’ve literally emailed 10 times and the one time they actually called back they literally let it ring out once and instantly stopped ringing. What is the point in having receptionist/admin staff if they simply… Read more
can’t do the job. I wonder what they actually do the whole day at work if they can’t even have a line you can ring and speak directly to them on and they don’t bother responding via email or phone call. 0/10 for this part of the agency. (Wetherill park office)

Collecting peoples personal information, no actual jobs – Applied for a position which was fly in/out 7 on 7 off which Chandler Macleod advertised on Seek. Had a call from a fellow called Peter. I sent an email asking what was the status of my application their response was… Read more
"sorry nothing, cheers" 2 weeks later no response. Obviously you people are just information gathering for your own end, no actual jobs. Like all employment agencies time wasting parasites.
No idea. Random rejection letter – When you haven't applied for a job in more than two years, to receive a rejection letter from a recruitment company, it is fair to have an expectation of an explanation. Who submitted the application? Where did you get my CV and contact details? I'm not interested in a job with you, but I understandably want to know where you got my personal… Read more
details. I could get nothing of sense from the desk guy I spoke to (after having to phone Canberra from the UK!) . All he could say was "who should I put you through to"...."send me an email". Seven hours later......nothing.
If they are a genuine recruitment organisation, I'm very dubious about their administrative efficiency.
Zero confidence, zero trust – When you read negative feedback and the experience of people who contacted these recruitment agencies, there is a lot in common with this one. They advertise positions that are no longer available, call you repeatedly offering you positions they have no intentions of putting you forward. And you when you ask for a feedback what happened with the… Read more
positions you were put forward, rudely, they never respond, simply because they never put you forward. It was just a lie, a part of their modus operandi. If it happens by chance that they put you forward, this is only if they have an interest in filling up the vacant contract, and with zero interest to find suitable role matching your skills. If you were told that they would do something, better check it out, because they didn't. The time-sheets log-in never work neither for contractor nor for the site managers. And one more thing, when they claim that you are paid 25% loading, that loading is not paid to you at the level the position was advertised, that loading goes to their pockets and to Japan which owns this company that exploits the Australian workers. Stay away from these guys, their actions will lead to their own demise the same way it did with some other large recruitment agencies that showed the same arrogance and disrespect to those that keep them in business. It is only a matter of time!
