Premium Price, Hopeless Service Paid close to $500 for a full check - had to call multiple times to get the Electricity & Smoke Detector scheduled which ended up being nearly 3 weeks after I paid - combined with poor/non-existent communication, can't really justify that price.

made a complaint, as this was time out of my day and all they said was "sorry, you'll have to rebook". Rebooked, received multiple emails and texts messages confirming appointment, which makes me think that they were never going to show up to the first appointment, no matter when I had it booked for. Had to take yet another day off to be at home for this appointment. Technician actually showed this time, was here for less than 5 minutes, changed the batteries in smoke alarms and left. Emails made it seem these were important tests on smoke alarms and all it was, was a battery change. If this took such a small amount of time, I do not know why they couldn't have done this on the original booking date. This company either needs to hire more technicians, have a better booking system or map out their technicians appointments in closer areas.

What a pleasant experience with tradesmen that I had to note down a review online. The gentlemen were polite, courteous and considerate in doing their jobs. They did their job without making us miss a beat with our daily routine in a very professional manner. Some agree to our requirement of taking shoes off but these lads not only did it, they did so with courtesy and that goes a long way. I would recommend them to anyone.

I've had 2 excellent ChechHero tradies come out to inspect my gas and 3 smoke alarms on the 13/04/26. They were friendly and acknowledgable and explained a few safety issues. They arrived at the required tracking time. Chang, the electrian, found a non compliant electrical issue that needs attention. I'm very happy he noticed it and will forward a report to my real estate for the owner to look at.

The first appointment the inspector sent a txt to say he wasn't coming when he should have been here. I was p*ssed off with that I waited all day for him. I took a day off work without pay that cost me.

Lastly, I would expect better basic etiquette from the team. If shoes are left outside at the door, it’s a clear indication that footwear should be removed before entering. This is especially important as there are children in the house who crawl and move around on the floor, making hygiene a serious concern.

Overall, there is significant room for improvement in communication, efficiency, and professionalism.

Very satisfied with the service I received. Electrician contacted me on the day to give me an accurate time frame of when he would be coming. On arrival he was friendly and polite, quickly and professionally checking, servicing and then testing the properties smoke detectors for compliance. They seem to be the cheapest in the business for smoke alarm inspections ($86.90 inc. GST). The ability to track when the technician will arrive was helpful, the guy was friendly (although didn't give a name), and was really quick at his job
